Ryoma was watching Ai and Jin talk, he couldn't help but hold back a goofy smile, these two are just plain adorable with their discussion although he didn't agree to giving Ai a knife, but it was ultimately for the best, at the moment, they didn't know what could be around any corner and Ryoma and Jin might not be fast enough to protect her. Its a thought that frighten him but he decided to hold back his worries for a moment and take in this moment of levity between the two. Whent he two arrived next to him he took in a breath and decided to use his very limited amount of English to help lift the mood. "「Let's do our best team!」" He said in a very thick Japanese accent, he remember hearing these words used in 'Phoenix Ranger Featherman Victory' a show his little siblings watch all the time and one he hard pressed to admit he likes.

Ryoma expression turned sheepish as he thought how silly his accent must sound to Jin, "Y'know speaking English is hard... but its impressive that you can speak both that and Japanese, Takajin!" Ryoma said brightly for the first time in awhile, Ryoma always admired people who could more languages then he can, which isn't hard to do, but its still impressive. Ryoma's expression turned sheepish again as he realized what he said and he scratched the back of his neck awkwardly, "Uh, you don't mind me calling you that do you? It's a cool nickname for you and I feel it suits you somehow..." Ryoma admitted awkwardly.

Jin spoke up asking if opening the door was a good idea before they admitted they had little choice, as well as voicing their concern over being unable to summon their persona. Ryoma scratched his chin for a moment and considered what to say next before he nods his head, "We really are deep in trouble... And I think you can summon your power... its like a natural instinct for me and I think its universal... I think. But trust your instincts to carry you here ... it got us this far already and I believe you can do it." Ryoma spoke as supportive as he could muster.

Suddenly, Ryoma can hear sounds from within the room. Footsteps, Breathing, and a bump. He tensed up, this was worrying, either this was a monster or somebody locked up a poor kid within the room. Jin Spoke up and forming a plan on the spot. Ryoma nodded and took a wider stance and prepared for the worst case scenario, Ryoma was ready to attack with all his might.

"Open it, Takajin, I'm ready for anything." He really wasn't. But for Jin and Ai, he's willing to fight anything to protect them.

I think Pike would like Morta as he would find her strange but likable! And he would indulges her hobbies, he would ask questions about the occult and ghost Pokemon since he doesn't have much experience with either even if he doesn't really believe in the former so much, and maybe watch some of her low budget movies in a movie night with the others? And I think Morta's Drifloon and Pike woukd get along messing with people together? But I see a few arguments arising between theses two. Mostly since Pike is a scientific person who believes in facts over faith so they can have arguments over that once they get to know each other?

Woo, now we just need to work on if our characters have bonds with other characters!

Yep, that's the final we need to do before we can start the RP!

The new kid is the only one exempt from this rule since they just recently moved to Alola and they'll meet the others when Pike comes to visit them in Professor Ironwood's place to ask them to take a visit to the Professor's lab.

The Rest will have to at least know the other character's names, but I would like something a little more in depth since all of them spent years on Melemele Island together and they are all about the same ages as each other and Melemele is one of the smaller islands in alola so there's not much room to be a loner rather they want to or not.

Keep in mind the relationships between characters don't have to start out as super meaningful or friendly at the start, its up to you guys how deep and meaningful you want to start it out as. But I plan on making the characters very close friends by the end of the RP!

Name:
Pikake 'Pike' Pines

Appearance:
Pike is a tall teen, towering over many his age with his most recent growth spurt, but he hasn't fully gotten used to his new height and tends to be clumsy and physically awkward due to it. Pike's hair is incredibly messy so much so that some of the locals even say a Zubat could get trapped in his hair if he goes into caves, which he is admittedly scared of if that would be true or not. Pike's eyes are a dark brown, almost black in color. Pike is always seen with bandages all over his legs and arms and sometimes across his nose as the job of Professor's assistant can be dangerous work. Pike's fashion sense is rather appropriate for the Alolan weather with shorts, tank tops, and slip on shoes, the only thing throwing it off is his lab coat, which sometimes he complains about, but he never takes it off as it would wound his pride of being a professor's assistant if he did.

Personality:
Pike tends to be bit of a goofball, making bad jokes, using off-beat humor and a love for pranks that tend to go amiss easily due to his lack of foresight and common sense. Due to said lack of foresight and common sense, Pike is Prone to bad ideas, mistakes, and hilarious mishaps which at times makes him the butt of jokes amongst the locals of Melemele island. But beyond his flaws he is creative, intelligent, and has good instincts that often lead him out of trouble as easily as he gets into it. He is also helpful, approachable and is curious about many things rather its people or Pokemon, no matter what he wants to learn more about what he's curious about.

Bonds:
Professor Ironwood: Pike sees her as a parental figure since his actual parents are often too busy with their duties to be around for him. Pike is her assistant, but at times he's more of an errand boy than a true scientific assistant.

Regulus is a cheery ball of sunshine, always running around and looking for fun and excitement, often taking part in Pike's pranks and tomfoolery. Regulus loves to battle and play with other Pokemon and tends to get Pike into trouble due to it's excitable personality.

Appearance:
Ironwood is tall for a woman and she is exceptionally beautiful. She has Shoulder length curly brown hair, light brown eyes, and clear pale skin she takes good care of. She moves with determination and elegance unlike her assistant, she has a cheerful and kind voice that helps eases others but also loud and strong enough for Pokemon to heed to when they hear her. She is often seen wearing a white button up dress shirt, black shorts, boots, and finally a lab coat, its a very simple outfit but she makes it work well.

Personality:
Like her namesake Kaiulani is a determined and intelligent woman who made a name for herself for her study of Pokemon moves and Regional variants. She is also a cheerful and kind woman who always brightens the room with her presences ad her can-do attitude even if she is lazy about paper work and menial tasks. Sometimes, she pushes her more tedious work on her assistant due to always studying out in the field and interacting with locals and befriending people during her study and coming back exhausted from a hard day's work. She is also rather parental towards the youth of Alola, often mothering them and reminding them to take care of themselves during their trials.

Bonds:
Pike: Ironwood's young assistant, he is a gift sent from Arceus itself. He helps her with her paper work, by help, he does most of it by himself. But he doesn't seem to mind and in fact seems excited that he gets to read her reports and help her in such a way. Outside of work the two are very close, Pike sees her a mother figure while she see him as a little brother and sometimes son when he get's himself hurt while studying.

Pokemon's Nature: Ginger is a shy and timid Pokemon, as it is often seen hiding behind its arms when confronted with new people and pokemon, but when it is around people's its used to it is a a graceful and elegant Pokemon that is also surprisingly powerful in a fight.

Appearance:
Gale has a rather boyish appearance, he has delicate features and a small frame, which often make people think he's younger then he is. He has black hair and brown eyes as well as pale skin which his slightly tanned from all his outdoor work. He is rarely seen outside of his Mailman uniform even during trials. His uniform hides his frame better and he feels uncomfortable without it. He hates how feminine he looks under his uniforms and how small his body is, but he hides that from most people.

Personality:
Gale is a soft spoken and shy person, he's still getting used to his transition to child to adult and various other transitions in his life. He's gentle and caring towards Pokemon and young children who take part in the trial, but he can be a rather harsh critic at times towards older trial goers and in general grown ups due to events in his past leading him to mistrust some grown ups.

Pokemon's Nature: Noctis is a sleepy fellow always sleeping on the job, right atop Gale's shoulder. While he's lazy and tired during the day at night he's active, maybe a little too active. He's always seen flyinh Melemele island looking for food and people to hang onto while he looks around. He's bit of a troublemaker but most people find him hilarious.

Appearance:
Holokai is a huge burly man of big but not defined muscle. He is taller than most people of Alola and weighs mostly muscle, if not for consistently cheery smile on his face he might look intimidating. Bur he has a loud booming voice that can be heard from miles away. He has shoulder length blond hair that's often tied into a pony tail and stubble on his chin and jawline and has brown skin from being outside all the time and naturally darker skin from his family.

Personality:
Holokai is a jolly man full of personality and joy for life. He's always laughing, always smiling, always something big. He feels emotions intensely rather they'd be good or bad. But most of the time good. He is competitive but never in a mean spirited way, he is prideful and kind in equal measures. But he has a bad habit of being harsh towards trouble makers and criminals.

Alola! And welcome to the Alola region! You have just arrived not so long ago to Alola which will be your new home! It's not every day somebody moves to Melemele island, you will be the talk of the whole island! But I hope the locals won't pry in too much. I shall tell you about the Alola region. Alola is comprised of four islands, Melemele, Akala, Ula'ula, and lastly Poni island, these islands are filled with all kinds of Pokemon and cultures! I betcha you will love the Alola region as much as everybody else! As you can no doubt tell you live on Melemele island, it's a fair bit smaller than the other islands but yet not lacking in its fair share of mysteries and wonders! I can no doubt tell you will have many friends between both the many Pokemon and the friendly locals! Once you feel rested enough I want to introduce myself to you face to face! And don't be afraid to bring any friends with you if you do, more the merrier I say!

Well, here's my gayboi. He's a bit barebones, profilewise, but my characters tend to mutate in ways I can't predict.

So I'm playing it safe.

Nixon Westwood

Name: Nixon Westwood (by all accounts, he prefers the nickname "Jinx" to his given name)

Gender: Male

Appearance:



Personality: Nixon Westood isn't one to be held back by constraints, by they social or otherwise. He's found that if act like you should be somewhere, it's often assumed you are, in fact, meant to be there. Even by people who should really know better. This revelation has had an effect upon him-if people can become something simply by acting, then much of what the everyday world is built on is fragile indeed. This low valuation of norms and mores tends to take the form of constant. snarky commentary. And some light thieving now and then, if need be. He's also developed a fondness for brawling-he feels alive during a fight, in a way that he doesn't during the humdrum of everyday existence.

Bonds: His grandmother, a native of the region and who he presently lives with. While there are substantial generational differences between them-cultural as well, considering Nixon is a native of Johto-their shared disdain for corporations, certain political parties and their general irreverence when it comes to matters others hold sacred has ensured the two have bonded. Long debates into the night on everything from history to religion and politics are the rule at their house, not the exception.

Pokemon: Houndour (Blaze)



Pokemon's Nature: Blaze shares a nature with his trainer, in a word, he could be described as Naughty. Blaze is assertive, determined and doesn't let pesky things like yelling or humans get in his way when he decides he wants something. More then a few vendors in the area have lost food to this particular pokemon, who always walks away looking as confident and content as Nixon himself.

So I kind of quickly repurposed this from another RP that wasn't working out, but hopefully it's okay and still fits this one. ^^; I just liked this character idea and really wanted to use her, I guess.

Hex Mini-ac

• Name: Morta Lemuré
• Age: 13
• Gender: Female
• Apperance: Like so!
• Personality: Morta is rather cheerful and talkative, although this is partially because she's also a little shy and has a tendency to babble incoherently when she's nervous. Still, she's easily excitable, especially when it comes to the occult and especially when it comes to ghost-type Pokemon. As expected from a Hex Maniac in training, Morta has something of an obsession with the ghost-type, thinking them to be the most wonderful and adorable Pokemon of them all... Even to the point of either ignoring some of their more sinister traits or simply claiming that they're just part of their charm. Really, she has some rather questionable tastes, with a love of low budget movies, trashy comics and loud music made by people who seem almost as obsessed with the occult and supernatural as she is. Morta has a tendency to believe the most absurd and out there things without any real evidence, acting more on faith and passion for the paranormal rather than any kind of scientific or logical reasoning.
• Bonds: Although she was born and raised in Alola, Morta is descended from a long line of Hex Maniacs from Kalos. Out of her immediate family, however, only she and her mother really believe in the occult; her father is an office worker who simply humours both of them, and her younger sister thinks she's kind of dumb for believing in any of that paranormal supernatural gibberish. Her mother is a fully fledged Hex Maniac, however, although since that doesn't really bring in much money she also works at the apparel shop in Hau'oli City (with a reputation for only ever recommending dark, gothic clothing despite how warm and sunny Alola is). If she has any friends, they probably consider her to be the weird one of the group.

@Ophidian As I always Say, characters always change in a RP so i'm not a big stickler for very in depth Profiles as long as it gives us a clear idea of the character! And Jinx sounds like a nice contrast to Alola's strict tradition keeping.

@Rin Yeah, she'll work! Hex maniacs are such a fun Pokemon trainer Class its such a shame they weren't in Pokemon Sun and Moon but there's always USUM! And Morta already sounds like such a fun character to have around!
