I haven't even started thinking about what Farxus is going to branch into... but then again, it's still early on. He has room to grow!

Hell, for all I know his fascination with the living will result in him taking on a 'Life' aspect of his own. Get the bastards coming and going.

Kind of a shame you're going @Lugubrious. I actually kind of wanted Farxus to meet Slough and maybe just walk beside her for a time; After all, Life and Death are connected and vital to each other. It would be an experience for the young demi god.

As awesome as this Rp seems, I don't think I have the time to start another Rp at the moment... Got a job interview tomorrow and I've got high hopes for getting it.

Kind of a shame that Farxus never had the proper chance to meet up with Slough. It would have been interesting to say the least... and since Slough was somewhat cursed for a time (not sure if she still is) she would have ended up in his book at some point.

Not that it really matters IC (If your dwarf thinks all humans think the same, that's normal), but OOC Bretonnia is well aware of the skaven. The furry fucks like to poke their head up and unleash a plague or two while trying to rob our lands every now and then.

For what it is worth, I always found the most child like of Sins to be Greed. Even when we are young, we develop a strong sense of 'Mine' and it doesn't matter if those things might belong to other people. The concepts of sharing and 'other people's property' have to be taught after all. Wrath is a close second, normally when the child doesn't get what they want.

So my question is this: What would the inside of your character's mind look like?

Those entering Farxus's mind will find themselves on the shore of an underground river. While there is only the light of a single, humble fire on the shore of the river itself, one can see around them as if it was a moonlit night... through the sheer size of the cavern results in the roof and anything more then fifty feet around the viewer hidden by shadow. The river itself is ever moving, but at such a slow pace that the viewer couldn't be faulted to harshly for believing that it was standing still. The waters themselves are perfectly reflective and will reflect any image that is presented to them. A sign of how deep they truly are. One cannot help but feel that diving into the waters of the river would be the last thing you would ever do; Not as a threat, but simply as a promise that you would be lost and never return.

There is a strong aura of calmness and... comfort to this place. A feeling that after traveling a long way, you are almost back home. Along the river glides a small boat, guided by a bipedal hooded figure wearing a black cloak. While it is impossible to tell who the figure is or even what it is by appearance or tone of voice, the figure presents themselves as polite and friendly, willing to hold something of a discussion with the viewer for a time... but never for long before he starts to make his way back to the unseen other side of the river. They will never tell what is on the other side of the river.

For the record, Fortune wasn't brooding in a corner; He honestly didn't know how to start a conversation with the various people present. Thankfully, that has changed.

Fortune remained rather quiet as people started to come in and fill up the room... even if it was just with awkward silence. If nothing else at least it proved that he was in the right place. Some knights would have lent back against the wall and inspected each person that came in, judging them silently on if they would be worthy companions or if they were just problems that they were going to have to deal with on their journey; Fortune was silent because not only did he not know what to say in this sort of situation, but he didn't know what language to say it in either!

The tongues of his homeland wouldn't be of much use within the boarders of the Empire (at the very least, not in this situation anyway) and while he had been taught how to speak a couple of languages beyond Bretonnia's boarders he wasn't exactly fluent in such lesser tongues. He also hadn't been taught dwarfish, which in hindsight was now kind of a problem. The arrival of what appeared to be a Bretonnian black knight didn't exactly raise his confidence in the situation around him either...

He was polite enough to nod his head and respond "Good Evening." to the dwarf that had greeted him as such. He might have carried a strange contraption but the man had seemed friendly enough (and while he hadn't been taught much about dwarves, he did know that they didn't take slights against them lightly).

It was the last man to arrive (and the only one to take a seat) that finally broke the silence properly. Deciding to ignore the comment about the 'brains' of the operation, Fortune was happy enough to have something to break up the silence a little as he started speaking in one of the more common tongues used in the Empire. "While I confess that the opportunity to gather some fresh wealth is appealing, the chance of finding something worthy of becoming a full knight is primary hope." Smiling a little, he quickly added "The chance to see more of the world at the same time is just a wonderful boon."

"I take it that the call of riches lured most of you here as well?" He asked openly, hoping that it would give them all a chance to get to know each other a little bit.
