Current Sorry for my lack of posts lately. I've just... been struggling to get the energy to write something up. I'm trying some new meds through so hopefully that will change soon.

Good, because Fortune isn't leaving Twilight in a damn Empire city unless there wasn't any choice in the matter!

I'll get a post up after sleep.
@Kho

Oh, I'm sure what Farxus is about to do is going to get some attention. If it's good or bad is debatable.

Just a quick reminder; If I wanted to create a race of supernatural creatures with strange eating habits/hunting habits, an aura effect that grows in effect in relation to how many creatures are present (which is proportionate to the amount of food available to them in the area), a somewhat magical ability to preserve the food sources that they can find in stasis for long periods of time and are spirit like in nature (ethereal and able to fly), how much Might would that cost me?
@CelticSoldier

Question; Are we able to bring horses with us for the trip or not? Kind of important because it will effect Fortune's current state of mind.
@Lauder

Tempting offer, but Farxus is kind of on his own side at the moment... the results of what I have in mind will be interesting through.
Well... if there is still room I would like to join. I have a couple of character ideas... depending on the tone and team that is being put together.
@CelticSoldier

Fortune was unsettled by the magic man if that helps. Nothing like having a stranger poke around inside your head to give you a bad impression of magic after all.
I feel like Farxus should have some kind of input on the world (and on this 'divine' war that seems to be going on).

...Hmm... I might have an idea, but it will have to wait until next turn when I have some might to spend.

Oh, my bad. I'll alter it soonish. Need to get sleep first.
As Khaz lent back in his seat in the...strange metal box, he seemed to be rather relaxed compared to everyone else around him. While the chance to further the cause of the Emperor and earn his praise was so close he could taste it, he reigned in his desire to spill the blood of the Emperor's enemies; They would be dealt with in time after all. Still, his hand seemed to softly glide along the flat of the sword across his lap, stroking it like it was a small and dangerous child.

Between the drills and the exercises that seemed to have been designed to ensure that all those present were in an acceptable condition of health, Khaz had gone off on his own and gotten some of his fur dyed; There was now a large Aquila on both his back and chest, easy to see and recognize. Of course, he had also had the same symbols painted on his armor because it would be going over the top of his chest and back, but he hadn't had much to do with the time when he wasn't working with the rest of his herd anyway so it worked out nicely.

Glancing to look at Marcus for a moment, Khaz snorted through his nose before chuckling with a surprising good humor. "The Emperor fights against dark and xeno gods so that we may earn glory and valor by fighting and slaying their champions." Taking a moment to look at each of his squad mates (and making a show of doing so, ensuring that they knew he was doing it), he smiled a little to himself as he finished "In victory and death, we will not disappoint him."
Fortune tilted his head a little as he looked at his dark Bretonnian counterpart, not really that surprised that the black armor wearing night was more interested in the promise of coin then the trill of adventure. As much as he disliked the idea of actually going on this expedition with cut throat mercenaries who didn't give a damn about honor and would almost certainly try and slit his throat in his sleep in order to get themselves a greater share of the treasure, this was his current best shot at earning himself the rights to own land back home and the money to actually do something with it.

Turning to look at the rest of the party... and blinking as he noticed that there was a new addition that hadn't been there before. If the pointy ears were anything to go by, an elf had decided to join their group. Still, he decided to at least introduce himself as "Fortune De Vigny. A pleasure to meet you all."

It was then that their employer had decided to show himself... in a fashion. Fortune had never seen magic for himself before; He knew that it existed and that the Damsels could channel it in service to the Lady herself, but their client was definitely not a Damsel and he sure as the vermin living in the sewers wasn't a servant of the Lady! While he tried to hide the fact in order to keep up appearances, anyone who bothered to look in the young noble's direction would easily tell that the usage of magic and the images that had been implanted into their minds had clearly unnerved him a great deal.

It was an experience that he never wanted to have again.

Still, one had to keep the image of control at all times in public. Still, Fortune managed to ask two questions after he calmed himself down enough to speak clearly. "Is anyone else slightly concerned that we are being sent to locate an artifact that can apparently consume the souls of anyone who touches it?" Turning to look at Jehan, he quickly followed up by asking "And why are you the exception to that?"

He also privately hoped that the ship they were taking would be big enough to carry Twilight as well. He would really hate to have to leave her behind in this awful foreign city.
