Current Sorry for my lack of posts lately. I've just... been struggling to get the energy to write something up. I'm trying some new meds through so hopefully that will change soon.

@Chenzor

Just to help clear up the idea; When I picture my goblins, I'm more inclined to see the Warcraft version of them (before they figured out capitalism and technology) then the Warhammer version. So yeah, there will be male and female goblins.
@alexfangtalon@Heckno12

Oh I agree. Ade doesn't have to change class or anything of the sort.
@Cyclone

...I feel like relations between our peoples is going to be... rocky at best.
@alexfangtalon

Any objection to Ade becoming a Cleric?
@Holy Soldier

I did ask you to clarify if Luigi could dodge the attack since he was in a dedicated dodge stance... and if he couldn't, how much damage he would be taking from it.

...I might have a plan through.
The Orc Grave Swamp Enclave

To most, the rotting stench that laced the air of the swamp would have been more then enough to drive away the person doing the smelling; To Gredy, it smelt of freedom.

For what had to be the first time in years, he woke up without shouting and kicks from some orcish task master in a makeshift hammock that hung above the muddy ground below; When the plan had come together to flee into the night to escape into the swamp, there had been some debate on what to use as bedding. Some of the other goblins had suggested trying to bring bedrolls and such, but Gredy had quickly put his foot down on the idea. Considering that they were going to be fleeing into a swamp were ground and water had a much more interesting relationship then in most other areas, Gredy had argued for the importance of sleeping off of the ground. Thus when they had fled into the night, they took a fair few fishing nets with them.

Rolling out of the hammock and placing his feet on the relatively solid ground that he had pitched as his for the time being, he looked around at the various little camps that had sprung up around the area. Considering the nature of the ground that they were on, camps tended to be based around what few areas of high ground that could be found since they were relatively solid and you were less likely to sink into the ground and drown in your sleep.

That... needed to change.

A settlement here wouldn't work if there wasn't somewhere safe and dry off the ground to store food. At the moment any supplies that were gathered would need to be used right away or the risk of losing them to the swamp was too great! It had taken some discussion, but the idea that was decided upon was simple enough; They needed to make a proper foundation that was raised up and above the swampy ground in order to give them a safe place to not only build their homes, but also to store supplies and food...

But before they could do -that-, they needed to know what resources that they had to work with so that they could properly build the best foundations that they could under the circumstances. With his head held high, Gredy stalked his way through the shadows of the swamp in order to find out what was out there.

@Chenzor

I can alter it so that the Enclave is relatively recent.

Also, was thinking of giving goblins a high birth rate... they kind of need one.
@Bright_Ops Wait, I've got a question about your last post.

<Snipped quote by Bright_Ops>

Where did Artyom get the idea that Ade was trained for combat on ships?

...Because if we were to train her with a weapon, we would be training her to fight on the ship taking us to the fallen kingdom we're heading for.
Artyom Barkov

Interacting: @dabombjk@alexfangtalon

To say that Artyom wasn't moved by her 'experience' with weapons would have been an understatement. While he didn't show it the fire and passion that she displayed actually gave him pause in disregarding her completely; While her complete lack of fighting experience was still a major handicap and would be the primary basis upon which he made his decision, the spirit she showed suggested that such a thing could and would be overcome if given enough time to grow...

Of course Bowman started to speak up about some nonsense, but he largely ignored the man in favor of narrowing his focused gaze on the woman herself. Wheels were turning in his mind before he spoke again... a little more respect in his tone then before. "A complete lack of practical fighting experience is a liability that is likely to result in not just your death but the deaths of other people in the squad. It normally takes several weeks minimum of training with a weapon before I would consider you competent enough with it to send you into an area where you might end up fighting something. It also doesn't help that you would be trained for fighting on a ship rather then on dry land, which might not seem like much difference but there is enough of one that it wouldn't do you any favors. The cold hard truth of the matter is that we don't have the time, resources or room to train you properly with a weapon before we land on hostile shores."

A small, thoughtful little grin appeared on his face as he quickly added "That said... I'm willing to cut you a deal. At the moment we don't need another meathead who knows how to put the pointy end of something into an enemy. What we need is another healer. So here's the deal; For the rest of this trip, you'll be learning everything you can from the cleric on board about how to fill such a role on the battlefield and if she declares you a competent enough healer to be trusted with such a role by the time we arrive, you'll be allowed to come with us as an equal team member. If not, you're staying on the boat for your own safety and the safety of everyone around you. Sound good?"
