Just... something that I feel as a possible change to history with the knowledge that we currently have of the background of the world. Feel free to reject it if you desire, just putting it out there for discussion...

During the First World War, while Russia's military was largely a mess it found itself with an abnormally large amount of supers to draw upon due to the massive amount of people it could call up for military service. This gave the Russians a leg up on the Germans and the Austro-Hungarians who had to divided their supers between their eastern and western fronts, allowing Russia to make up for some of its armies short comings and start off the war better then it did in our reality... However, the poor logistics and questionable leadership of the Russian Army plagued the war effort like normal.

While Supers started off as being held in high esteem by the Russian people, when word started to spread that Rasputin himself was a Super of some kind (Rumor couldn't exactly agree on what powers he might have had, but mind control was a strong candidate) a number of people at all levels of society started to develop a degree of hatred for supers... which would be later used by the raising Soviet movement to stir up unrest and start their revolution. After all, how could people be equal and given the same opportunities when this so called 'Supers' existed?

The resulting civil war between the White and Red armies would be more interesting due to the lack of supers used by the Red army... while the White armies could deploy Supers in the field. Regardless of victor it would be the end of Russia's involvement in the First World War, but it is fully possible that in our Timeline the Soviet Union didn't exist because it lost to the White armies in the civil war due to the presence of Supers.

Course the Soviet Union could also be around... it depends on if we wish to consider what Russia would be like now if the Soviet's lost in the early days of their revolution due to Supers in the White armies.
@Mistress Dizzy

As they entered the simulation, Draco opened his eyes and took a moment to look around. What he saw suggested that they were in an arm dealers or weapon collectors wet dream; A large warehouse that had one wall dedicated to an impressive collection of knives, another that was covered with guns and for good measure a final wall covered in bows and arrows. It was an amazing collection to be sure, but Draco didn't seem to have much interest in it... through he did take a moment to look through the collection of knives in order to pick out a camping knife and its sheath, checking the blade for just a moment before sliding it back into its cover and clipping it to his belt. While he didn't hold much faith in the blade as a weapon, he could admire the other utilities that it could be used for.

Turning to look at his partner, he couldn't help but notice the change in her attire. After letting his gaze linger up and down her form to take it in, he glanced down at his own attire and was slightly impressed by the fact that the simulation had managed to come up with what he considered to be his hero outfit despite the fact that he had arrived at the class less then ten minutes before the simulation started. Chuckling a little, he glanced back at his partner as he shrugged at her question "I say give it a minute or so to see if we get any instructions. After that we can either check out the office over there or maybe have a playful spar?"

Now that they had at least two possible courses of action if they got no outright instruction, Draco decided to ask a question that was on his mind as he offered Kassy a smile "I like your choice of outfit. It looks good on you while also appearing rather functional... through I don't think I've ever seen that kind of leather before. What is it?"

Mario's Funeral

Luigi had stood alone as Toadsworth led the sermon, dressed in a black suit that had been hastily brought for the occasion. While he wasn't crying it was clear from those who saw him that he had been doing so rather recently. Right now, he just felt tired and numb after all the bullshit he had been forced to endure after they had returned from the mission. Everyone seemed to blame him for Mario's death, despite the fact that he hadn't been in charge of Mario's team and had been dealing with completely different issues elsewhere when Mario had died...intelligently he knew that there hadn't been a damn thing that he could have done, but he still couldn't help but ask himself if there was anything he could have done differently if it meant that Mario would still be with them.

He knew that Peach blamed him; She hadn't talked to him once since the news had been broken to her and Luigi couldn't bare to look at the rage that was on her face whenever he dared to glance her way. Maybe if he had been watching his brother's back instead of leading a team of his own, there wouldn't have been a need for a funeral at all.

While he wasn't proud of it, when Guile's had laid into him about how Mario's death had been his fault... Luigi had snapped back. He hadn't meant to but for just that one moment all the pain and sorrow had flared up into an explosion of fury as he had shouted back "I COULDN'T WATCH MY BROTHER'S BACK BECAUSE I WAS TOO BUSY DEALING WITH BRIGAN! YOU REMEMBER, THE BACK STABBING RAT OF A CONTACT THAT YOU SET US UP WITH?!" He didn't know why he did it instead of just taking the berating like he normally would, but right now he was glad that Guile was sitting near the back where he didn't have to look at him.

As far as he was concerned, Brigan was the reason that Mario was dead; Odin might have held the sword as it were, but Brigan was the one that had put them all in that situation to begin with for his own personal gain. One day, he was going to catch up with the General...

Shaking his head, Luigi simply remained were he was, not moving and for the most part unsocial as he stared at the monument silently.
@Holy Soldier

Oh... Force of habit in this case.
Luigi will sign up for the Brawl because why wouldn't he?

Even as he was dashing towards the fallen Odin, Luigi quickly found that no matter how fast he ran he wouldn't be fast enough to land a blow. Watching as Samus, Naija and Fox worked in concert to explode the corrupted tyrant's head before they dropped his own weapon on his back... and squeezed out a disgusting, oily black substance like toothpaste out of a tube that quickly developed a life of its own as it shoot straight at him!

While he attempted to skid to a halt, poor traction continued to carry Luigi forward towards what could only be described as something out of a nightmare. While such a thing would normally have made him cower with fear, Luigi's cowardly instincts quickly came to the conclusion that fighting was more likely to result in survival then fleeing; His heart pumping Luigi drove his fist forwards towards the dark creature's vile face. The lightning that he had gathered around his fist proved vital as his fist connected with... whatever it was made out of, knocking the foul creature backwards in a great deal of pain as lightning pulsed through its body.

Luigi couldn't actually describe what happened next. There had been a shout from above that he didn't quite make out through he managed to resist the urge to look up because his attention was focused solely on the beast before him to ensure that it didn't recover quicker then he believed it would to take him unawares, but the next moment both of them were bathed in a bright, blinding light. Words didn't do the sensation of the feeling of that light on his skin justice, forcing him to have to call it a 'tingling sensation' because it was the best available.

As the light abated, Luigi found himself standing alone; The corrupt creature of darkness had clearly been destroyed completely. He couldn't help but indulge himself with a deep breath of air in order to try and catch his breath after the sheer panic that had gripped him moments before. As his heart started to beat at a more normal level, Luigi took the time to look around... and watched as the surge of phozons escaped from Odin's fallen body, flowing out into the world around them. Some of the strange things entered the ground around where he had planted the seed moments before, causing a fruit linden plant to burst out of the ground! A napple tree, if he remembered the name correctly.

Remembering that Fox had been injured during his engagement with Odin Luigi jogged over to the newly grown tree rather quickly, reaching up and plucking the napple fruit off of it. Darting over to Fox's side with healing fruit in hand, he offered it to the pilot that he had fought many a brawl with in the past as he simply explained "Eat this. It'll help with the burns."

With the healing item offered freely, Luigi turned with the intention of gathering the rest of his team (and those who weren't strictly on his team, but whom he still considered his team mates) together in order to see if anyone else required healing and what everyone's status was... before his gaze landed on the collection of red phozons that seemed to be drifting towards him. He didn't quite understand what they meant, but there was a part of him that felt... a great sense of loss as he gazed at them. He couldn't look away from them through... not even when Gwendolyn bottled them up and offered the vial to him.

Accepting it without fuss, he gazed down at it thoughtfully with a lost look in his eyes. Mario had always been there... even when he wasn't because he had been abducted by ghosts or some other nasty, he was only gone until Luigi could rescue him. This... this didn't feel like the kind of thing that he could rescue Mario from...

His grip tightened on the vial as he pressed it against his chest, his eyes closing as he started to shake lightly. All Luigi wanted to do was fall to his knees and cry, but something stopped him; He wasn't quite sure what it was, but a part of him refused to allow himself to break down in front of his team and the allies that they had made. There would be a time to mourn his poor, departed brother but this wasn't it.

Taking a deep breath, the shaking lessened as he opened his eyes, looking at Gwendolyn for a moment before softly muttering "T-Thank you." to her before reaching into the pocket where he had shoved Mario's hat before to pull it out. With care, he wrapped the vial in the hat to give it some protection as he pocketed both items once more.

Turning around in order to face the others, Luigi took but a moment to stead his shaky voice before crying out loudly enough to ensure that everyone heard him, regardless of their current location. "Is everyone alright?!"
@Holy Soldier

Just so I know; when you level up, the amount of Exp you need for the next level up goes up, yes? Or did I get that wrong?
@shylarah

You don't have to do that for me.
@The Kid Lantern@BlackSam3091

Forgive me, but I think I might withdraw Gutter from this game. I can't seem to build up the energy to make a post with him...
@Terminal

Fortune De Vigny has given up his life in return for the divine power to smite the daemonic creature of the abyss in an attempt to save those few members of his party that remain.

He is dead.

EDIT: I am not asking that your horrific flesh monster dies from this... through it would be an awesome ending. But I would ask that it isn't going to be shrugging this attack off in a hurry.
