I think to sell someone on an interest check, it's really important to seem enthusiastic about your own idea. That means writing more than a single sentence to attract potential players.

Did you know that Dante's inferno is called a divine comedy because things work out for the protagonist? Back in the day, the only two genres were comedy and drama. The only difference was that in a comedy, the protagonist is better off at the end, and a drama is the opposite. So that's why a story about going through hell can still be considered a comedy, even if it's not funny.

Name:
Broken Promise, BP, Boss

Age:
Old enough to know better, too young to care. (that is to say 30's)

Preferred RPs:
I Prefer to make my own, but will occasionally join something if it looks interesting. I'll join just about anything so long as it isn’t overly edgy/sweet, though it's rare for me to do. I don't do 1x1s too often either.

Preferred Roles:
I tend to play adorable characters everyone wants to befriend or proper assholes everyone wants to stay away from. I try not to play moral paragons or prime evils.

RP Conquests:
I've completed quite a few RP's off site, but most of them are on private forums or have simply been lost to the ravages of server crashes. As for stuff here, I'm sure everyone who sees me post in the off topic sections has seen me find an excuse to talk about Danganronpa: Tower of Carnage. It's a project that took over 4 years to complete and I feel pride not only for myself but all the wonderful people who helped make it enjoyable during its run. Re: Zero: The High Council Is technically my first, but it was just something I kind of took over and ended up ending the story after just six months. It finished, but eh...

Last RP I finished was Symphony of Espers which turned out pretty good.

RP's in progress:
For some reason I can't seem to stay away from Ari's magical girl RP, even if I'm not sure why I'm still in it.

As for my own projects, I'm doing Symphony on High to continue the gigachad adventures of the espers in Pax Septimus.

RP Graveyard:
I've been pretty fortunate on this forum. I think I joined one when I first came on the site that didn't really do anything, and there are a few 1x1 things that didn't go anywhere. It's disappointing when an RP ends before it can be finished, but I've come to look at them as learning experiences.

And then there's that london magical girl RP, and that dark magical girl RP. I think I'm done joining magical girl RPs for a while.

Other interests:
Videos
I watch a lot of educational videos on youtube. Usually as research for something I’m writing or purely because a topic interests me. I like channels like Tier Zoo and Daryl Talks Games, and I’ll also watch things like Critical Drinker or Literature Devil to deepen my understanding of story telling. Though I also like memes and jokes, to which I’ll find myself watching stuff like Sseth, but usually find myself surfing through meme videos. I gotta work on that.

Games
I have a rather long history of playing virtually every platformer to come into existence during the indie boom, as well as quite a few other indie games. I’ve played Meatboy, Binding of Issac, Gunvolt, Cuphead, Princess Remedy in a World of Hurt, Classic Metroid, Warcraft 3, Final Fantasy 7,8, and 14, Left 4 Dead, Shantae, Celeste, Danganronpa, God Eater, the list goes on. What I’ve played is kind of all over the place. I don’t play many games these days, I tend to pick things that look interesting and go on a decent steam sale.

Painting Minis
I do this in moderation. Otherwise, it's a pretty expensive hobby to start...

Music
I listen to everything, save most country/rap songs. I have too many favorites to name.

Personality:
Not one to take life or the internet too seriously. Is only serious about writing well and having a good time.

People to Insult:
Dalton is a Dingus.

@ThatCharacterIn Danganronpa, it's a good idea to get a girl to help YOU. Especially with investigations.

a crappy little stain on the internet called sonsofsparda-dot-com. It was one of those places where the forum founder had since moved on and left everything to incompetent underlings, who recruited their even more incompetent friends to staff the place when they finally decided to leave. Admitting heavy bias, as the second generation admin and I butt heads a lot. However, his idea of running a good forum was having custom smilies and reporting rumors as news, and actually managed to delete the entire RP section once in an attempt to give it a cute name. No, he wasn't smart enough to back up things before all of this happened. This forum no longer exists, or at least the domain was sold to someone else.

As much as I hated management, there was a decent clutch of writers there. Even though I can't read those stories anymore, I have fond memories of them, even the ones that never quite finished.
That shit.
Well, at least Broby went down like a champ. It says something when you need 4 players to bring you down.
If you can read this, you have better eyes or a higher resolution than I do. that or you used the quote function to make the text bigger. Plz stop with the double sup tags. It hurts muh eyez

I was speaking to Mate and I got a little distracted while trying to study and suddenly this happened somehow
Everyone's signatures how I'd interpret them:

If I ever decide to add signatures to my characters posts, I'll certainly use something to that effect. Me gusta.

Killed by Jews.

I didn't ask for this.
@Ariamis Alright, I put Mondatta in the break room. Post edited.

@Ariamis I wasn't sure where Mondatta was, I can add him into the room if he wasn't off exploring.

If I missed anyone, please speak up. But I think I got everyone who's been active in this chapter. The gifts are intentionally more difficult to figure out (for some characters) and I may even have gotten some wrong. So it will be interesting to see what happens. Also they were all entirely random, just like last time. The only changes I made was when someone got a gift for themselves.

Also, I'm thinking about starting a discord server, just because I love shit posting. I know a few people here would like one, but I don't really want to go through with it if only 2-3 people are going to use it. So if you want to yay or nay on that, I'm all ears.

Davis felt a lot better after talking with Mondatta. He wasn't 100% on board with his “hope solves everything” philosophy, but perfection did feel better just knowing that there was someone who respected him for telling the truth. He knew he shouldn't feel this good. Shona died not twenty-four hours ago. Maybe it was because Davis was even more sure that there was more to her death that met the eye. He would have to search her room later. But first, it was time to follow the monk's advice. Calvin wasn't going to get Noel, not on his title of Infinite Conquest! Davis stepped out of his room. But he didn't head right into the break room. Instead, he leaned up against the wall and started talking to himself.

“So Noel.” He spoke into the air. “I understand you report things.” He nodded. “You know not a lot of people know about me, Infinite conquest. I'm more than just good looks and a lady killer.” He scratched his chin a bit. “I'm more than just good looks and a hairy chest.” Some more chin scratching. “I'm a lot more interesting than Calvin.” He nodded to himself with a smile. “He's actually a huge creep, he's in libido overdrive all the time.” Davis groaned to himself. “She might be into that...” After a bit more thinking his smile came back. “I'm a fan of your work, like that story you wrote about...” Davis scowled. “I'd like to hear about some of the things you've covered.” Before Davis could further embarrass himself, he could hear it again. The thundering footsteps of the carnage sister's horses. He thought he was prepared for what was to come, He couldn't have been more wrong.

Nine mechanical horses were lined up in front of a red sleigh. They had foam antlers glued to their heads, along with jingle bells, red and green ribbons, and the front most one even had a glowing nose. Well, the glowing nose was mostly thanks to a string of lights that passed directly over the horse's face. Back in the sleigh, Monokuma held the reigns and wore a fake beard and a jolly red suit. Behind him were two carnage sisters dressed as elves: Geina and Willow. Though these weren't your regular Christmas elves they were dressed as. These were sexy elves, who's mini skirts ended just above the thighs. Their vests couldn't fully close and needed to be held together with small wreaths.

“Holidays are fuckin' weird!” Geina was looking at her bare arms. “At least the suit doesn't cover my guns.”

Willow chuckled. “In more ways than one.”

“Huh?”

“Anyway!” Willow looked away from her sister. “Those without nobility are fated to live droll lives. They are merely watchers, constantly looking to their monarch for support. So as a leader of the people, you need to give them a reason to celebrate their meaningless existence. Holidays are a great way to do that.” The queen threw her arms into the air. “It's new years! Is all you need to shout to get a bunch of worthless mongrels to drink themselves stupid.”

Geina scoffed. “Yea, pathetic!”

“By the way...” Willow leaned on Geina's shoulder. “Did you know America has a holiday that involves blowing up fireworks?”

“Whoa...” Geina's eyes glowed an intense blue, thanks to the LEDs in her eyes. “This is a wonderful country!”

Monokuma groaned. “Are you kids done jabbering? Are you going to shoot Davis or what? I'm growing a beard over here!”

Willow picked up her cannon. “I'm ready father. I won't let a single one escape!” without much warning, she fired her cannon at Davis. There was a flurry of confetti, and a gift wrapped box struck Perfection square in the chest!

The break room was a mess. There was multicolored confetti everywhere, even in some of the food. The carnage sisters just snickered like a bunch of punks and left the room. An important detail to keep in mind for the next night of carnage!

Meanwhile, Davis entered the break room. He didn't look surprised, and just shrugged. “I guess it's Christmas?”

The monitor in the break room came alive with the familiar two-toned face of Monokuma. He was still dressed as Santa.

“Merry Christmas everyone! I know some of you are heavy sleepers, so I figured some of you would need a high pitched scream to wake you from your sleep. Phu phu phu!” The bear fell backwards onto its butt. “You didn't leave me out any milk and cookies, so no gift was given to its intended recipient. You guys can sort that out by yourselves. And you know, make friends and stuff. Fun fact, over seventy percent of homicides are committed by people who know the victim.” There was a short pause before the bear spoke up again. “Oh! And I also gave you all something black and white, and it's not snow covered coal! Search your gift boxes carefully...”

ITEM GET!

Mono-Token
A black and white cassino chip.

Monokuma sighed. “I know that when you lose someone important to you, it feels like having a huge hole ripped out of your heart. You could fill the hole with love, but it has to be someone else's love, and that's in short supply down here.” The bear almost sounded like it was whimpering. “But you can also fill it with vices! Fill it with beer, possessions, and.... gambling!”

The screen switched over to the Mono-stand. Nariko was dressed up like a casino dealer. “Oh no...” She pouted. Her hair waving in that breeze the fan in the back of her head created. “It's not ready yet. I'm sorry everyone. I'm sorry for-”

Dr. Killgood reappeared on the screen. “Anyway, I felt that you guys deserved an extra special reward for being such heroes yesterday. But I also didn't want that sadness to spread to the newer folks in our little group. So I'm opening up a fun little game for everyone to participate in!” Monokuma tore off his Santa suit. Underneath all that, he was dressed in a black and white tux. “A fun little way for you guys to earn some mono coins and get even more gifts! And if you don't like the sound of that...” He pulled a pair of shades out of his vest and put them on. “Deal with it!” The screen went quiet again.

Bliss looked at everyone in the room to gauge their reaction, though her eyes stopped on Davis. “Are you exited for that?”

Davis was smiling, still staring at the black screen. “Uh!” He shook his head, returning to his normal self. “A-anyway, Calvin!” Perfection turned to the blacksmith. He took a deep breath and did his best not to over react. “...Calvin. What the hell happened last night?” As much as he wanted to start talking to Noel, there was no way he would be able to without getting some answers first. And if those answers made Calvin look bad, maybe the black smith would stop being such a chick magnet.
