I think to sell someone on an interest check, it's really important to seem enthusiastic about your own idea. That means writing more than a single sentence to attract potential players.

Did you know that Dante's inferno is called a divine comedy because things work out for the protagonist? Back in the day, the only two genres were comedy and drama. The only difference was that in a comedy, the protagonist is better off at the end, and a drama is the opposite. So that's why a story about going through hell can still be considered a comedy, even if it's not funny.

Name:
Broken Promise, BP, Boss

Age:
Old enough to know better, too young to care. (that is to say 30's)

Preferred RPs:
I Prefer to make my own, but will occasionally join something if it looks interesting. I'll join just about anything so long as it isn’t overly edgy/sweet, though it's rare for me to do. I don't do 1x1s too often either.

Preferred Roles:
I tend to play adorable characters everyone wants to befriend or proper assholes everyone wants to stay away from. I try not to play moral paragons or prime evils.

RP Conquests:
I've completed quite a few RP's off site, but most of them are on private forums or have simply been lost to the ravages of server crashes. As for stuff here, I'm sure everyone who sees me post in the off topic sections has seen me find an excuse to talk about Danganronpa: Tower of Carnage. It's a project that took over 4 years to complete and I feel pride not only for myself but all the wonderful people who helped make it enjoyable during its run. Re: Zero: The High Council Is technically my first, but it was just something I kind of took over and ended up ending the story after just six months. It finished, but eh...

Last RP I finished was Symphony of Espers which turned out pretty good.

RP's in progress:
For some reason I can't seem to stay away from Ari's magical girl RP, even if I'm not sure why I'm still in it.

As for my own projects, I'm doing Symphony on High to continue the gigachad adventures of the espers in Pax Septimus.

RP Graveyard:
I've been pretty fortunate on this forum. I think I joined one when I first came on the site that didn't really do anything, and there are a few 1x1 things that didn't go anywhere. It's disappointing when an RP ends before it can be finished, but I've come to look at them as learning experiences.

And then there's that london magical girl RP, and that dark magical girl RP. I think I'm done joining magical girl RPs for a while.

Other interests:
Videos
I watch a lot of educational videos on youtube. Usually as research for something I’m writing or purely because a topic interests me. I like channels like Tier Zoo and Daryl Talks Games, and I’ll also watch things like Critical Drinker or Literature Devil to deepen my understanding of story telling. Though I also like memes and jokes, to which I’ll find myself watching stuff like Sseth, but usually find myself surfing through meme videos. I gotta work on that.

Games
I have a rather long history of playing virtually every platformer to come into existence during the indie boom, as well as quite a few other indie games. I’ve played Meatboy, Binding of Issac, Gunvolt, Cuphead, Princess Remedy in a World of Hurt, Classic Metroid, Warcraft 3, Final Fantasy 7,8, and 14, Left 4 Dead, Shantae, Celeste, Danganronpa, God Eater, the list goes on. What I’ve played is kind of all over the place. I don’t play many games these days, I tend to pick things that look interesting and go on a decent steam sale.

Painting Minis
I do this in moderation. Otherwise, it's a pretty expensive hobby to start...

Music
I listen to everything, save most country/rap songs. I have too many favorites to name.

Personality:
Not one to take life or the internet too seriously. Is only serious about writing well and having a good time.

People to Insult:
Dalton is a Dingus.

unlike the Polish MG RP I'll make sure the plot runs in this one; even if I have to solo it will end in some way.

This guy's ambition fills me with determination.

Mini announcement: @Ariamis has agreed to take control of Caora, as Brith has left the RP again. Poor Caora, getting passed around like a basket ball.

As far as room suggestions go, this is what I have so far:

RESORT:

Kitchen
Dojo (archery range could appear at the dojo)
Indoor Beach

HOSPITAL:

Pharmacy
Cosmetic surgery
CNC department
"pod" room

EITHER:

Zen garden (Someone wants to write a feelz scene for Mondatta)

Keep the suggestions coming!

I'll get a post up over the weekend, taking everyone to the following day. I'd like to see a post from @MyCatGinger just so that she doesn't have too much catch up posting to do, but I know she's busy.
Sue was nervous. Anyone in her immediate vicinity could tell that. Sue's cheeks were noticeably red, her breath was short, and her eyelids were wide open. Anxiety is an interesting sensation because so many different things can trigger it. She could be scared of Mariette and her goons. They ambushed her not a week ago. She alerted Amber to blades, bullets, and tentacles before being whipped unconscious. Aside from an untransformed Lily that seemed to have some kind of enchantment on her, there was little standing between Mariette and the familiar. Being afraid of that was understandable. But that isn't the only thing that could trigger anxiety in this situation. Sue was in very close proximity to Deni. Deni was also chose to wear clothes that complemented her form excellently. She was very well endowed, and her shirt didn't do much to hide that. But it wasn't just her shape, she also had an air of confidence about her and seemed interested in Sue. When Deni leaned in, All Sue could do was remain put, gazing into those ruby eyes of hers. There was little Sue could do to escape with Lily embracing the familiar Something like that could also cause one to feel a little anxious. Maybe Sue was effected equally by both types of anxiety. But all Sue knew was her adrenaline was pumping. Her fight or flight reflexes were kicking in. Sue would have to act, and with Lily holding on to her, flying away wasn't an option.

“Really?” Sue's eyes closed half way. “I... had no idea... I didn't think I even had a shot.” After Sue spoke, her entire body froze. She remained like that as her body started to turn a shade of white. Even the ever present red glow in her cheeks was starting to go away. “Wait, was that a joke?” The question was rhetorical, and Sue didn't expect an answer. She didn't want an answer. “Haha, funny! Um, anyway!” Sue chuckled nervously and turned to face the Djinn twins. “Any chance you guys are willing to grant a wish? At this rate, I won't last long enough to eat dinner, let alone pay for it.”

Elroy and Regina were still in there civilian guises. Though Elroy was holding a bag filled with styrofoam boxes.

“I can't believe it...” He was grinning, but that didn't always mean Elroy was happy. “We could have eaten nearly anywhere, and instead you want to eat Chinese take out in some dump?”

Regina didn't look amused. “You wanted to treat me to dinner right? There's nothing quite as cozy as a lonely dinner in some secluded 'dump,' as you call it.”

Elroy rolled his eyes. “A shop IS a dump though. Especially THAT one.”

“Well.” Regina said with a chuckle. “That's as close as you're getting me to the Pit Stop.”

Before they teamed up with the beacon killers, the Bates wandered around Penrose, sleeping in vacation homes or abandoned housing. Though their last “lair” was an old community garage where the more tech savvy members of the community formed a club and funded a shop where they could work on their cars. In its heyday, they built and maintained all kinds of sport cars, vintage and newer. But all good things come to an end eventually. It wasn't in the best part of the neighborhood, and one day a lot of the tools just went missing. The club members slowly got discouraged and left one by one until there was no way to maintain it. The property has been foreclosed on, which just opened it up to even more riffraff. But it was a nice temporary dwelling for a pair of monsters.

“Meh.” Elroy shrugged. “Food is food. I guess it'll be good for a nostalgia trip.”

Penny and Alicia could feel a familiar presence. The same aura that made itself known at the hospital had returned. A haunting tune played in their heads, and fading into existence was a red mist that danced like the aurora borealis. It was getting dark out, so the mist was relatively easy to see. Several minutes ticked by without any activity before a relatively normal pair of teenagers showed up in front of the garage. A girl and a boy. They could have been brother and sister.

“This is why you're the boss.” Elroy said while pointing into the sky. “Those egg roles would have been ice cold by now. You were wise to let me eat them.”

Regina stopped in front of the garage property. “Elroy.”

“Yeeees?”

“There's someone here.”

“Hmm?” Elroy looked around the property. There were a few bushes, an old tree off to the side of the building, and an old chain link fence that ran around the back half of the garage. “I don't see anyone. Are you sure?”

Regina leaned against Elroy and whispered into his ear. “I can sense their minds. There's at least two of them. One in the front, and one in the back.”

Elroy's head perked up. “Oh... so we've got a few squatters?” His grin widened before he looked back at the property. “Alright guys!” He shouted. “You'd better bugger off now, I'm hungry and I don't feel like eating it in front of a bunch of vagrants. It makes me depressed.” He waited a moment before cracking his knuckles. “As much as I'd enjoy it, you don't want me to chase you out of here...” Regina stood just behind Elroy, giving a concerned glance towards the “squatter” in front of the building.

@Flamelord@Shifter_Master

Oh yea, this arrogant group of monster teens were going to need all the help they could get to survive. Tonya wasn't slinging spells yet, just watching her spool of thread to strategize for the upcoming battle.

Oh, hell, she didn't need that.

She slipped the string into one of her pockets and looked out. It wasn't often she got to live in the present.
Kyoko smiled at San's pun before turning towards the newly arrived Endar. she looked concerned. "Uh, elf boy?" She pointed at the book. "Why is that here with us?" but the conversation was quickly interrupted by a spectacle. In particular, the red magical girl was enticed by the appearance of a second book, a single page tearing itself out of a book before floating away. "If this is a labyrinth, it's the strangest one I've ever been inside." The magical girl started to run. "I'm going to see if I can get that page. It could be a trap so keep your distance!" Kyoko used her momentum to hop onto the fence before bounding off into the city, chasing the page from the building rooftops.
@FamishedPants it doesn't 100% have to correlate to your character, but I am looking for places that your characters might enjoy using or hanging out. Someone suggested a kitchen, which I'm going to implement even though there aren't any infinites that can maximize its potential. But thank you for your suggestion, we all like shooting things.
@PlatinumSkink I was, but I changed my mind. I'm going to post today.
Alright, so I added the second story patients quarters, and added a chapter 1 summery. Neither are perfect, but they are workable at the moment. So I'm going to move onto the announcement and just keep it short and sweet for everyone.

I need room ideas, both for the resort and the hospital. I know the hospital is going to have a pharmacy, and the resort is going to have an “indoor beach” or something to that effect. But I'd like everyone to suggest at least one room idea, preferably something that pertains to your characters. I'm probably not going to use every idea, but I'd like to have a total of 8-10 rooms split between the resort tower and the hospital tower.

Also, we just got done with a case, but I'd like to start thinking about the next one. One person agreed to become a killer already, but I'd like to see if anyone else is open to the roll. So if someone else would like to be the killer, please say so. I might try working on two cases at once, just so that we can keep things going should one blackened have a family emergency or for whatever reason can't work on the case for a time. Do keep in mind that it is going to require some effort on your part. The last one took 2-3 months to plan. I mean, we didn't work on it daily, and we even took a week off here and there, but there is a lot to discuss. But it's fun and rewarding for the right people.

And of course, I need victims. I'm not as picky with victims, as they don't need to be quite as involved as the blackened does. But I do need victims before I can start making a case. No take backs!

I hope everyone is excited for chapter two! there should be quite a bit more going on this time.

EDIT: kind of a no-brainer, but if you want to be a killer/victim, PM/DM me, haha.
Just waiting on some people to post.
The chapter is over, new people can roll out.

I'll be working on updating maps, creating a chapter 1 summery, and the like this week. The announcement and chapter 2 should begin shortly after.
