Gotta love people suddenly becoming apolitical when someone is doing something they approve of.

I'm hoping I'll be able to get a post up either today or tomorrow. This past week has fucked me up. I went from working from home for the past month to actually working on-site and it is an adjustment.
I promise y'all my next post will have Iris.

Who cares if it doesn't have Iris? Tell the story you want to tell however it works best for you.

Read: not nearly gay enough.

I mean, Batman punishes people all the while wearing leather and armor. Oh, fuck, is Batman the original leather daddy?
As we have some incredibly healthy discussion going, I'm going to regret this when I wake up.... but since the question was tabled. Who would you choose to voice your favourite characters?

Give me Holt McCallany as Slam Bradley any day. Hell, he has the right look to play him in a live action role if it ever came to it.

Edit: oh uhhh don't watch this if you get queasy at violence or whatevs

Hey look, MB, it's me on my wedding day.
Sounds like someone's a few pages behind...

I'm not a grown up though so I don't have to take responsibility.

You're old enough that if you killed someone, you'd be tried as an adult. So that's old enough to take responsibility for not reading the IC thread.
There's no glory in your poor formatting.

Switch the Point-of-View

Maybe your hero isn't doing something important or cool at the moment, but for the sake of pacing you don't want to just jump ahead. That's as good a time as any to see what someone else is doing, whether it's a villain scheming or a support character....supporting, whatever interesting thing might affect the people in your character's sphere of influence.

This is one that I'm a big fan of. A character is only as good as their supporting cast. Richard Stark's Parker series does this very well. Essentially, a whole 1/3rd of the book will be dedicated to the people Parker is about to get revenge on living their lives after fucking him over.. and you as the reader get the pleasure of reading and waiting for the other shoe to drop.
