If I ever imply France in an RP where, for example, the context for calling something "French Toast" doesn't exist, you can know that's not me.

Bio

I'm a generally chill gomboblin that can be kinda particular. I grew up with plenty of electronics and video games, mostly with games like Final Fantasy, Zelda, and StarCraft. Lots of Nintendo. Dark Cloud is pretty sick. That's a lot of variety, and I do like to play a lot of different games. I like to blend magic and technology in my writing, bringing fantasy into space and sci-fi.

Magic in space is something that I find isn't done very much. Airships and spaceships could make for some cool centerpieces. Skies of Arcadia did a fantastic job of this. Perhaps that's not in space, exactly, but it's pretty close. Some of those ships may as well be space ships.

Probably not? It's supposed to be like German, though.

Trinity Stratos

"Nolan, incoming!" The minstrel lifted her head at the peculiar whistling on the wind, behind the flame attacks from the turrets. She knew her magic could deal with fire well, but it lost its advantage against kinetic attacks. She gathered her shield walls over her head and crouched down, layering the three over each other and angling them to deflect, rather than just block, the incoming blades. Despite her efforts, she heard her shields shattering as she defended herself, and when the rain stopped, she saw that two of her shields had shattered and failed, and were dissolving from the shattered edges. She gathered the remaining energy into a single sphere, forming it into chest plate instead.

The fire turrets would be a little more challenging, now. She had to use the orbiting shield she had remaining in tandem with her wristblade buckler. She only hoped she could get out of this turret fire before someone would decide to fight her. Aah, but those big arms looked like trouble. And those hands holding the tower up, too. They seemed different, though. She didn't care to walk into enemy traps, and she wasn't sure how she'd fight a giant hand anyway. So maybe...

"Nolan, cover me, would you? I want to try something." Trinity aimed her buster arm cannon squarely at one of the arms supporting the huge tower. She held her other hand out, a golden orb forming there while her last orbiting shield defends her from the turret fire. "Energy Make: Rail Rocket." The shape of a rocket was given and a panel on the side of the cannon opened. It had a bit of a drill shape on the front. She popped it in. "Hokay. Here we..." She placed her left hand on the side of the cannon and focuses on it. The material of her cannon glow brighter as she charged it, aiming carefully, "go!"

She fired! The charge depleted from the arm cannon, the rocket was sent sailing toward the giant earthen arm supporting the fortified structure. It would embed itself into the earth before the turbulence inside broke the outer shell, detonating. Or, that was the idea. But, nothing seemed to happen.

Oh. Well, I'll post tonight, then.
I'll wait for hat for a sec.
Yeah, I'm here. Uninspired, I guess. Uhg.
I should consider sleeping on more of my posts, especially late night. They turn out a lot better.

Trinity Stratos

To weather the attack, Trinity had to fracture her shield into parts, and cycle the different parts out to keep them from overloading. She held one part still, draining it with a touch of the Make on her hand. She didn't really have a good way to run away (other than just fly away, but that seemed like a hazard course), so she'd have to see what Penny or Nolan came up with.

And then things outside her shells began to change. The tempest supporting the fortress stopped... Time to move.

Before she could do anything new, like retreat, Penny's flames enveloped them and absorbed the Mundane Spark she had been too busy to notice, herself. Penny flew away from them, but Trinity knew better than to try and chase her down in the middle of all this. It was time to go! Nolan was already on top of it, and he teleported them away, out of the air. She stumbled and her turbines turned off, not expecting the solid ground, though it was shoddy footing with all the chaos. Nolan and Penny had cleaned up, somehow.

Trinity took the moment to damage assess and mold her gloves. She had to cycle a lot of her shell, leaving her with three circles. Her left glove became a buckler/armblade, and the other an armcannon. As the pseudo-material grew and changed, the brightness it had gained previously faded. She shrunk her wings to be just the turbines, attached to her via harness. "We're to get in the Tower, then? Didn't it have a doorway?" She finished her modifications and gave them a quick once over before nodding. "Alright, well, let's not keep him waiting." She started at a run, but soon began gliding on her Make boots, with the three orbiting remnants of her Spiked Shell.
Guess I'll have to read that again.
We're not out of the woods yet. And I thought the blades were acting as an arena barrier? Not an active threat but more of a boundary threat.
