Sorry for my absence! A Volunteering position suddenly turned into a Volunteer Leadership position I was not expecting at all so things have been hectic.

Look at you posers, having to bang dragons or sell your soul for magic when you could just play a lute for some. Anyways, here's Wonderwall. - Bards

Ah, I've got a ton of custom vampire ideas lined up.

Basically, I'm imagining cultured, somewhat obsessive collectors of knowledge and lore. Playing up the OCD part of the vampire myth a bit. Unlike the WFB Counts, they're not....they don't tend to be over the top evil. Their castles are as much giant libraries as they are fortresses.

Also a certain stiffness of thinking.

A count will pay taxes because that is what a count does for his lord.

If this lord has been slain for years and not replaced, and there is no point in paying taxes to him....

They still pay taxes.

Because that is what a count does.

So basically they're all sort of vampire gentlemen bookworks.

"Manners maketh Vampires"

I really like this idea.
Been reading through this....

Uber interested. Love Warhammer.

....Any room for a Vampire Counts-esque faction?

Of course, although you might wanna talk to some of the other human factions and see if they want anything to do with you like in canon WFB.

Also, how do you plan on giving the Vamps your own twist?
This is actually incredibly interesting.

Instead of saying that maybe we are the first to reach this tech/development level, I'd like to say that we're one of the first. I find it hard to believe that humans are the most advanced thing out there right now, although that might just be pop culture and all the various things in space that we can't explain (Black Knight Satalite) and all the other alien life stuff that goes around.

Part of me wants this to be true however since then humanity could be the one to "uplift" some other race or the be one with the original massive solar empire instead of the opposite way around so often seen in scifi.

You're dead to me and will be sent to a re-education camp in Yunnan for this.

Did someone say China? @Theodorable can vouch I am indeed a Sinophile, especially for post-war China in the sense that Mao did literally nothing wrong.

In the Discord chat me and @Sini had a bit of talk over notChina and notJapan, as it stands right now I am currently the one with notChina and him being the one with notJapan.

Sorry m8
So, who wants to be in my book of grudges, and for what reasons. Also, who wants to have been in it, and had themselves taken out after being killed by a few Dwarves?

I hear that dwarven children are considered a delicacy by some beastmen after they've been skinned and deboned alive then cooked in a broth made of the blood of their parents as well as their flesh and entrails along with some fresh mountain greens and forest roots. Topped off with fresh river herbs and gold flakes taken from the dwarven family's belongings.

Om nom nom motherfker.

Honestly. If i could land a decent job, I'd probably be able to attend cons. I'd also like to get into cosplaying myself. But again, don't got the income. Also don't got the face for a lot of characters I'd like to cosplay as.

tbh, cosplaying is easy. Doing it right/well on the other hand takes time, money or talent.
That said, the way I'd tend to get around this is by doing something post apocylptic, don't matter if it looks like crap, you can just say "its supposed to be like that".
There's also a whole bunch of really simple costumes/cosplay ideas floating around. I know that being a Bond-esque spy only really require a suit and a pistol (hot chicks always help tho) and that being a Warboy from Mad Max isn't too hard either (or Wargirl, whatever floats your boat). All else fails, could always do something Harry Potter esque, just find a big cloak to wear over your normal cloak and use a nice lookin' stick as a wand (pet cats can help with this look as well).

That said, I completely get the struggles, I'm basically in the same boat. Too poor and lazy to do any kind of cool stuff and go to cons ;-;

I mean, it's you're decision. I think you're missing out, because these things are a lot of fun. Well, really depends on what you find to be fun. My kind of fun includes a hotel room, lots of alcohol, music, Street Fighter V and Guilty Gear, alcohol, hot cosplays, drunk selfies, alcohol, out of state friends, guys falling for me, alcohol, and alcohol.

Jaysus fuck, what kind of con you going to? It honestly never really crossed my mind for staying in a hotel to stay at a con as dumb as it sounds but its true.

Also, I feel bad for your liver. Like, very, very bad.
RIP in pieces mister liver.

Where do I sign up? Sounds like fun :D
