Sorry for my absence! A Volunteering position suddenly turned into a Volunteer Leadership position I was not expecting at all so things have been hectic.

Look at you posers, having to bang dragons or sell your soul for magic when you could just play a lute for some. Anyways, here's Wonderwall. - Bards

Man, everyone is joining the Wolfpack. You bunch of weirdos

tbh I only joined Wolfpack since @Volenvradica said that they needed more people. My Brotherhood guy was a Kingsman-esque gentleman type.

Speaking of which, VV, you going to tell us if we were right about your little question and if you were just baiting all of us with false promises of pictures? :p
Well, I am open to suggestions. There's always the good ol' EMP's.

The issue with EMPs is that the Empire certainly has countermeasures against them and not to mention there is no guarantee that the ship would french kiss the planet. Its more likely that it'd just precariously orbit around it until help arrived.
Breakers could also be like Devil Fruit from One Piece that while there are some abilities that are better at first than others, the abilities don't get stronger but the user just gets more creative with the abilities of the Breaker/Devil Fruit.
I would probably agree on a saboteur, as it is incredibly hard for any one thing to knock a star destroyer of that size out of the sky. Maybe he/she would destroy the engines whilst in hyperspace, sending the vessel careening into a planet, etc.

I'm not a science or lore junkie but I have a feeling that if someone blew the engines in hyperspace, we'd have much larger issues than landing on a planet (assuming we even do). I find it that there is a far greater chance of either people just getting sucked into hyperspace doing all sorts of fuckery to their bodies or the entire ship more or less exploding with almost no survivors as we'd all be in space and escape pods in hyperspace seems like a very bad idea.

Also, depending on the circumstances and factors, a SSD careening into a planet again has a high probably of killing just about everyone on board or just exploding outright especially if there was hyperspace engine damage.

Just my thoughts.
@ClocktowerEchosWho are the purple and orangish red bordering me?

Red is the Orruks (traditional Orks) and Purple is the Kingdom of Yore, a human faction. Both of them have completed NSs in the Char tab.

Damn, flushing the creative juices down the toilet.

Actually, I did end up accepting Willy's idea as an fyi, the whole multi-race faction with Elder Scroll-like Orcs. So in this case not all of the juices got thrown out the window, some is being served as a refreshment for the up coming war party
@wxps350@Brithwyr Just checking to ask that both of you repost your NSs or what you have of them if you want, I was going through the thread to check for claims and found both of your NSs and didn't want you guys to be left behind.
Given how small patch of land is left, I'll just prefer to leave the Uruks before they formed their full Silk Road style culture.
So there'd be less helpers. Probably nomads and sand people ("barbarians") and dwarves found at the mountains who would like to hit up a good trade.

Anyways, I think the main source of confusion is probably that you judge them on what Greenskins in WHFB are.
These orcs are less of that crazy bunch and if I can say closer to Elder Scrolls interpretation of Orcs.
I am actually considering to make them a different race altogether.

You could honestly be like the Beastmen and just say you're a nomadic horde with other hordes of your species also travelling around.

As for the ES Orcs, that might be an interesting thing to see "civilized" Orcs go up against savage Orruks.

It's been already done.
I don't say all races are perfectly content with their status within the alliance but your description of any of them is terribly stereotypical, narrow-minded and well... racist (literally).
Aristo already had a rambling about not liking when races are treated as if they can be one type and nothing else.

Its been done once except that was in your own NRP, not mine. Different GMs, different standards yadayadayada; just because it worked in your NRP that you ran doesn't mean that I'd be so willing to give it a shot.

None the less however, I'll let you give it a shot but again you will need to do some damn fine writing for it to impress. There better be a very diverse unit roster and very, very visible signs of disunity that you speak of. Also, I think it would be best you first ask some people who have their own races about what would be acceptable and what not, I know that Elves draw their magic from a different source than that of humans and Orruks (magic wells I think).

@ClocktowerEchos The map in the OP is outdated, because it doesn't include my claim nor the claims of some of the other people. The one on my CS and the one I posted above includes all of the claims that were put on the map (I'm pretty sure).

<Snipped quote by ClocktowerEchos>BTW, what each colors mean? at least with the other map it had a name palte for each territory owned.
I would preferably want to be neighbors with a mainline human nation and preferably a number of others for sources of conflict.

I'll try to do some map fuckery soonish to try and help get things sorted out a bit more, gotta wrap up some other loose ends elsewhere first.
While talking about character dynamics, I feel like Jester would be someone you know can get shit done but there's a 50% of him not doing it to your exact orders and getting the results, 30% of him just not doing it and 18% he'll just end up doing something completely different and a 2% chance he just kills you outright.

Again, he's like the Joker with self serving interests that currently somewhat line up with the Wolfpack but no one completely trusts him not because they don't think he's loyal its just that he's completely unpredictable.

Also curious to see if anyone ends up as his Harley lol
