Appearance:Alex appears to be in the prime of his life. While Lithe and agile, there is a certain lean strength about him too. Weighing a comfortable 75kg (none of it fat) and standing up a fair 178cm, Alex could often be described as handsome. But there are many people like him, with messy brown hair and dark eyes. So he’s quite capable of ‘blending in’ with the human population of the city. Alex is often seen with a pen, paper, scrolls, books and stuff like that. One would note that he’s never seen in anything heavier than supple leather.
Background: Born from a lesser noble family, Alex’s entire future was written out the second he came to life. The Reinners always helped the Goodguards. A major noble family within Regnum Magnopere. His early life was filled with a stern education and physical training. Despite his written out destiny, Alex was given some freedom and was allowed to go to a public school for 2 days a week for the sake of social interaction. He gained some friends indeed. Much of that changed over the years. It became clearer and clearer that he was to have a certain use in life, but he hated the fact that his parents never told him what he was going to do. Alex wasn’t a foolish child. He knew the Reinners always helped the Goodguards.
On his 16th birthday, the truth was revealed to him. Bodyguard. Lady Alexis Goodguard, 11 years old would require a bodyguard once she turned 18. This bodyguard would be with her forever. More importantly, while a bodyguard, he would also have to tend to all servant matters. Like writing letters in her name and helping her out of a coach. This new infuriated Alex. Believing himself too weak, he forsook any connections with the outside world. He dropped his friends and rarely appeared at family meetings with the Goodguards. In fact, he refused to even see the Lady. Over the years his strength increased, but lacking a sharp eye and still not good enough in the techniques of melee, Alex forsook those endeavours as well. Instead, he pushed himself to unlock his psionic ability.
All in vain, as after nearly 3 years he still could not make any psionic events happen. Beaten and self-destructive, his mother found him in his room. Pitying her own child, she understood that there was but one thing she could do. She took him to a floor in Babel. Into a forest filled with peaceful spirits. The fractured boy look with wonder at the spirits. Dancing through the sky and among the leaves with not a care for the world. Until a feline-like one landed near him. It was then that he noticed his mother had stopped a long distance back and was watching him now. The cat-like spirit looked at him confused. But Alex felt how it was doing so much more than looking. It looked through him, in him, at him. He could only guess that the cat saw a fractured being. One who pained himself due to his lack of talent. He expected the spirit to float away again, finding him unworthy. But the cat remained. In fact, she grew affectionate of him.
A month later and the spirit, which chose the name Nimueh together with Alex, fused for the first time. The fusion served as a strong catalyst with his innate psionic powers. “Unlocking” them in a way. It was on the Lady Alexis’ 14th birthday that Alex himself came. Vowing to her that he’d return in 4 years again. With a retinue of spirits and guardians. Keeping her safe and warm no matter what. Thus his adventure began in the tower of Babel.
Personality: Driven, focused and with a burning fire in his eyes. Alex can be described as intense in a battle. He will not back down from any insult and often pushes himself to the very edge. But he can also be a calm and collected person. Maybe a bit naïve sometimes, but his spirit is slowly teaching him that a cool head prevails over all.

Skills:Psionic well – Mystics were pretty amazed to witness such a well of power within Alex. However, he himself cannot tap this well, for some reason or another. He requires to fuse with Nimueh, or have her material form equipped for this. But once he can use it, he can use more psionic powers and they are stronger than they normally should be.
Spirit crafting – Certain spirits like certain objects. Like imbued crystals or grow calm in the presence of certain runes. Spirit crafting is a subset of the crafting skill. Which allows one to make these kind of items. Though recipes and ingredients still need to be bought. However, right now he lacks any real knowledge on the subject. In the future, professional guidance will be required to keep this skill viable.
Trapmaking – Lacking any proficiency with a spear or bow, Alex makes traps to catch small game at the higher floors their wilderness. These traps are often simple snares or net-traps. A single trap won’t be very effective but fill a forest with them and you’re bound to catch something.
