Core Concept

Aleachor thrives on unpredictability and the thrill of taking chances. Every wager, bet, or gamble is a spark in their ever-shifting realm. They care little for skill or measured risk; they revel in chaotic outcomes, improbable reversals, and moments where the world seems to tilt on a whim.

Mortals are drawn to them when they want excitement, when they crave uncertainty, or when they embrace risks that make sane people stop and think twice. Their divine pleasure comes from stirring the pot, nudging fate in wild directions, and turning ordinary moments into spectacle. For the amusement of themselves or others.

Appearance

Aleachor's form is ever-shifting, a kaleidoscope of colors, sounds and movement. One moment they are a flamboyant figure draped in shimmering dice, fluttering cards, and spinning coins, the next, a chaotic blur of limbs moving impossibly.

Their eyes are coins that reflect both fortune and disaster. Their presence is accompanied by a constant, dissonant chorus: clattering dice, cheering crowds, laughter, bells, and the occasional crash or bang that seems to come from nowhere.

When they've got hands they may hold rolling dice, flipping coins, or swirling playing cards, all moving and laughing as if alive. They might occasionally wink, shrug, or laugh at the absurdity of the moment or simply because "it felt right".

Motivation

Aleachor exists to inject chaos into the lives of mortals, to remind them that nothing is guaranteed. Every bet, gamble or chance encounter is an opportunity. Good or bad, it doesn't matter as long as it is fun.

They favor the bold, the reckless and the imaginative. Followers who embrace uncertainty in their lives. Tricksters, daredevils, gamblers, or inventors are particularly attracted to them. Aleachor does not punish failure, failure is just another thread in the chaotic game that life is. One thing that Aleachor wants to do more than anything is to bring fun to the world. Keep everyone on their toes, not knowing what will happen next.

Roleplay Example

The tavern erupts with the sound of rolling dice, clinking coins, and bursts of laughter that seem to come from nowhere. A coin tumbles through the air and lands on the edge of the table, teetering precariously.

“Roll the dice. The highest roll wins mortal. Step forward and wager or watch the chaos unfold without you. Lose, win, laugh, scream. I care not. The dice speak, and they never tell the same story twice. Trust me on that!”

The mortar stops eyes fixed on the 100-sided die that trembles in his hands. He mutter a quick prayer, rolling the dice for a simple game, and the fate of their wager resting entirely on that single toss.

The dice tumble across the table, spinning with dizzying speed and then, it lands. Not on one, not on fifty, but on 100, twice! The crowd gasps; the tavern goes still for just a heartbeat, all eyes on the lucky numbers.

The mortal laughs, swelling with pride at his luck. “Haha! 200! Beat that if you can!”

A ripple of ecstatic, chaotic laughter sweeps through the room, and the temperature seems to rise as the god’s presence swells around them. Aleachor just echoes the mortal's laugh and with a flourish of their long fingers, they plucks two die from the air or perhaps creates them from chaos itself and throws them. They spin. The sides shimmer, numbers flickering like sparks. Then they lands, impossibly, on 100 and 101. A number that didn't exist on the die before.

The mortal stumbles back, eyes wide, as the god roars with laughter that rattles the tavern walls.

“Two hundred? Too simple!” Aleachor bellows. “Why play by mortal rules when I exist?”

The dice begins spinning again, the 101 shimmering like metal under a hot flame and the Aleachor's grin widens. The crowd erupts into cheers, cries, and nervous laughter as Aleachor twisted the rules, bending probability forcing mortals to reckon with the simple truth: Nothing is fixed. Nothing stays the same.

The mortal swallows hard, heart hammering for he knew very well, the game was farfrom over.

Clergy / Worshippers

Gamblers, tricksters, thrill-seekers, daredevils, performers

Merchants and tavern-keepers who embrace unpredictability

Clerics are often flamboyant, chaotic and theatrical

Followers may run gambling halls, organize tournaments, or host festivals that make no sense

The Tossing of Fate: Worshippers throw dice, coins, or cards into a central arena, reading outcomes as divine messages

Chaos Games: Competitions where rules change mid-play, participants embrace uncertainty.

Feasts of Folly: Large gatherings with contests, storytelling, and mischief.

Divine Bets: Clerics publicly wager on events to attract attention and draw chaos.

Regardless, these are questions for after mortals start appearing in the setting. For now, I feel like y'all should be thinking more about how your characters would act upon emerging, and how you'd like for them to awaken into their domain. Shoot me with ideas!

I kinda have an idea for Yzechr. You see, when the gods first appeared there is a fog right? And I guess when the world get more and more define the fog would have less place to be. That's when my guy come in. They would take the fog and hide it or at least a part of it. I guess that would also explain why their symbol is the black mist/fog. Over time those remaining fog can have another effect too like literary eating people or make them prone to doing evil things.

Is that alright with you?

@Theyra Well, it's true that sand is made of earth and has earth property, in our world. It doesn't have to be that way in another world right? It can be it own separate element if @Vec allow. Especially if it is an element that is heavily tie to the divine origin like the birth of gods themselves.

Yzechr

God of Deception and Corruption.

God Concept: Yzechr; the god of corruption. They are the only one who will reach out to the lowliest scum, the most wicked, the most unfortunate. When the whole world turns its back on those people, they will come, whispering sweet words of temptation; “Let the world burn! It’s your only salvation!”. They hide those wicked evil in deception, concealing them from the force of good and righteousness. Since Yzechr is the protector of everything evil, they are usually worshiped by outlaws, outcasts, rebels/terrorists (depending on who you asked), corrupted officials, devils and monsters, or those with low standing in the community.
Appearance: They have numerous forms, often appearing in front of mortals by mirroring their own appearance. However, you can know it is them by the black mists swirling around, giving a mysterious and divine atmosphere. If they do not assume the form of others, the black mist will simply make up all the body parts, usually with hollow eyes and mouth.
Motivation: The protector of all evil paths and those who do evil. They will also save everyone who is asked to be saved, leading those poor unfortunate souls to the path of corruption.

Roleplay Example:
Yzechr looks at the boy in rag clothes prostrating on the stone cold floor, he himself wearing the same face with the black mists swirling around his divine body. Those mists slowly envelop the tiny cell they are in, as if to make it disappear from the world. “Your kins are gone, your homeland occupied, and yet you still wish not to dirty your hands?” The voice is young, but the tone is far from innocent.

The boy shivered from the coldness of the god's words, ten times colder than the stone floor below him. Everyone knows Yzechr; the god of corruption is the cruelest entity in the realm. The god who preys on the weak and takes away even their last integrity, their last humanity, until nothing is left.

Unfortunately, the boy is that perfect victim. And this is his only chance of survival. He has no doubt those soldiers will come and take his life, like they did to his mama and papa and everyone in the village, like they did to their sacred land which raised generations. He wants to survive, he NEEDS to survive.

“Until sunrise, this blade can only be seen by you.” The black blade is revealed among the mists. The steel door suddenly unlocked with a loud click, and yet no one seemed to hear it outside of this tiny room. “Only those who fight have the right to live. So my dear mortal, I hope you choose your future wisely.”

The mists are gone. The god is gone. Only the black bladed staring back at the boy, sharp and polished. The blade that is hungry for blood, human blood. And the concealments make it oh so easy to sneak up on those guards outside and end their life without any suspicion. How long will the boy hold on to his morals when facing the armed guards who are only interested in getting him killed? In the end, he is only just a weak and pathetic boy. Even if he can survive the night, his innocence will forever be gone.

Experience: I usually rp in my own language and just recently tried an English forum (English is not my first language). I like pbp because I can edit my grammar and run it through the spell check program.

Well, in that case, then a god of spirits. Since I would like to make a god that creates spirits and a spirit world. Since I never got the chance to do that in Divinus rps. So either a god of sand and spirits or a god of spirits and something else.

Shino followed the woman and the man through what appeared to be a space-time gate. As he expected, the other side of the gate is yet another location he is unfamiliar with. The white hair woman did some explaining and then left him alone with a bunch of strangers, who apparently, would be his teammates for a foreseeable future.

He still doesn't know how to think of all this, but there is no point in dwelling in those thoughts right now. Adaptability is an essential part in his line of work after all.

And adapt he will.

“I’m Aburame Shino, an active shinobi.” Shino introduced himself next. “I suggest we survey and secure our base first, as we might be here for a long time. For my room preference; I’d like a room with good window placement, it would be a lot more convenient for my friends to work with.”

While he said those words, tiny black insects started coming out of his clothes’ sleeve and collar. They crawled all over the shinobi’s face, hands, and all the skin surface, visible for all to see. Shino himself doesn’t seem to be bothered by the bugs, still looking as calm and collected as ever, as if they don’t exist at all.

“Anyway, I hope we get along.”

If you're looking for suggestions, then I guess we still don't have any life-giving gods, or any water, fire, light or artistic gods either for that matter.

All of this to say that there's a few niches to choose from.

Adding on to this, I think we also don't have gods whose domain is in wind, sun, moon, nature (tho the life giving gods will probably do), and death (this world still lacking a death system too)

To summarize things, because I feel we might have dipped our toes a little too deep in philosophical issues, I accept your character submission, but with two conditions:

1.) Change the Perception domain to Deception. You mentioned you could play either, and Deception aligns far better with your described role of protecting and concealing evil. This also resolves the thematic inconsistency, as Perception implies awareness and truth-seeking, while Deception fits the tempter who cloaks their followers' crimes and enables them to operate unseen.

2.) Update your character sheet to honestly portray Yzechr as a villainous antagonist: a cosmic tempter who radicalizes the desperate, protects the evil path itself, and finds societal collapse entertaining. Remove any language suggesting benevolence, reluctant salvation or the creation of perception itself. Keep Corruption, it kinda works for the degradation your followers willingly embrace, but I'm more looking forward to seeing how you develop this dark, complex deity IC.

I am also looking forward to what other players will come up with now that we have a definite villain here.
