@6slyboy6 Oh hello! Seems like we have the same interest.

Anyway @Legatus Bellum, I have an idea of a Dominion Fleet Admiral who have command over a large group of starships (It's fun when I command a large group of forces against a force that outnumbers him greatly, sorry @vietmyke for overlapping your character). So my question is how large a space group can be for a character to take command. I've written a short fictional story about a starship admiral, so I have some experience over it now, so don't worry. And if you are concerned over the overlap, I can switch to the Internationale. Just let me know
@Bright_Ops I agree. But I have a good quote for this: "No plan survives first contact with the enemy." We don't even know what the enemies use. Archers, slingers or skirmishers? Do they use swords or axes?

Nevertheless, I like the way your orcs think. Hit em fast, hit em hard. You can expect the support of the Duke.

And from the start I was just hyped about charging the enemy with elephants. I believe we can have great diversity with my beasts. Also, it's better to go with simple overviews, to let individual commanders to be flexible. But yeah, the orc plans are decent
Well, I'm stuck as well. I guess they have issues do deal with as well.

Yess, I require your four legged beasts for my experiments construction projects. I have so many cool ideas, but I have to do some background checks before I can publicly put them out here.

I can spare you around 3-4 behemoths for that. In our next post perhaps.

"In case you receive my lifeless body, this empire is then yours general. I expect chaos to happen, but hopefully, my efforts in stalling time at Maw will not be in vain."

"But will you return, your majesty?"

"...Yes."

Those were the last words exchanged between Alexander and his most trusted friend and general, Annibas. He was pretty much the finest and all-rounded military and political leaders of all time. And more importantly, he was Alexander's childhood friend, who he had studied with in caves with his private tutor, fought against during battle simulating games, and stood side by side on one of his most extraordinary conquest he had ever had. There was no other individuals that could befit to become the next heir to the Acity Empire than him, and there were no others that Alexander trusted to leave his empire to while he was absent.

Alexander knew that this expedition might be his last, for he was forced to fight against an army that outnumbered them umpteenth times. He knew that this battle would be a big lost on his magnificent records of victories, a full stop to the seemingly unending streak of triumphs. But this battle was not intended to be won after all. Its only goal was to delay against the march of the Sylver Empire, so that the Western Maw could have enough time to prepare for total war. It was his mistake. He was too careless, too focused on conquest that he failed to realize such threats were looming over the other side of the world. And now he must be ready to face the consequences.

The tale whether did he keep his promise and return to have another conversation, or die bravely at the relentless and unmerciful mountain pass of Maw, was yet to be told.

The young king stood straight with silence and composure, along with his two generals who all volunteered to come with him, William and his daughter Arturia, as he hear the experienced-looking yet impulsive Galatian commander go all his way to loathe at the orc as the barbaric warrior offered his leadership on the first day. Alexander merely shook his head in disappointment. What does he think he is? Some holy and noble gods who judge people? What is he to compare the entire culture to a small army of only nearly five hundreds?

Alexander had much experience with this kind of fools. He met them, he argued with them, and he crushed them for their foolish thoughts and acts. And he was no stranger to him. He was Florian Józef Czaja, the second prince of Galatia, the Kingdom that he once tried to negotiate a trade agreement with but failed, because of Alexander's reputation as a conqueror of the Northern Region. Whether Florian was against the trade or not was not known, but it left a bad taste in the young king. And this little petty rant added more salt to injury

Fortunately, the other commanders were apparently more logical and had a sense of unity, although the past grudges still remained. But still, the question who would be commanding this battle was yet to be answered. And judging by the looks of it, all of them seemed to have the confidence of military leadership, yet none have that competence, nor the manner of a military commander. They all talk and talk, and yet they had not offered their strategies on the table. The battle was won on the battlefield, with well-coordinated and well-thought out strategies, not using the art of arrogance.

It was at this moment that Alexander knew he had to speak up, with a wise tone of a king, addressing the entire room as a whole.

"I don't want to hear your blank promises any longer. If anybody wants to offer leadership of this little army we assembled, then state what you have in mind. The battle is won with spears and swords, not your words."
I'm currently writing my own post now.
I do intend to do something similar to @6slyboy6. BY routing their sub-commander's forces, thus destroying their command center of the battle, which will be very likely to demolish their morale. Maybe kill him as well if there isn't any plot armour in place. Hopefully in the second or the third day I can do that, otherwise the more disciplined troops will negate this strategy
Ok, I'll get the post as soon as I wake up.

@babbysama Uhh, Alexander was king not prince. I know, it was fairly weird for a king to be in such a losing battle, but yeah,
Hey, I was gonna do that. (although not literally killing him). Lol jk. So I have been wondering, so is Ops our first day commander?
ACION

Acion gave Mamoru a salute as he flew off. Upwards into the sky, until he was around one hundred and fifty meters above the battlefield. The battle had only just begun and Acion had already delivered one of his teammate to C already. It was a good start. In just nearly two minutes, his team had already claimed point C, and he had good battlefield visibility. Now, let's see what the Alphas are up to.

It didn't take long for him to realize the very obvious movements on the battleground: The moving truck.

"That is indeed smart."

Acion did notice vehicles lying everywhere in the battleground, but he did not see such utilization of it for battle use. Now they were able to move to their intended point quickly using it. From his view, they were coming from A, towards B, but he could not figure out who they dropped there, nor how many. He could only have a closer look when the vehicle moved out of B, towards C. But even that he could not figure out the details because of the dust they were causing upon driving. All he could figure out was that there were human silhouette on the back of that truck, but not sure how many. But there was definitely someone on it.

'Just assume that they are carrying one, maybe two. Combining with the driver and you'll have at least two heading to C. Maybe more than two, because I doubt they would charge in so recklessly into a point where we would definitely control.'

Acion flew a little closer to A, and, although the view was pretty groggy, he could see a couple of people standing there, defending the area. Are they holding A and attacking C? Make sense, since A was the nearest to them, but C? Perhaps they are attempting the similar strategy as Delta.

Still, he should be following his plan instead. A was for Kenichi alone to blitz through and stall for time until Donny takes B, while C must be held at all costs. And if they were foolish enough to charge straight at the lion's den, then so be it.

'Now then...'

Shall we begin the battle?

As he saw it, point A was already made occupied, point B was being handled, though he did not know how. Point C was his only concerning point to hold, and it was his vantage point. So there should be no reasons to go elsewhere now, unless things were urgent.

The truck, after slamming through the large mound, did not stop there, as it span around itself to create a dust cloud. The size was significant, blinding Acion's view of the enemy completely. But there was one thing that he knew, however, that they were in there for sure.

All of a sudden, the white-haired angel, from a flying position, suddenly made a sharp turn around his longitudinal axis, around 150 degrees clockwise, and began a 70 degrees head dive towards the battleground, or specifically, the dust cloud. For around less than a minute, he was merely gliding on his wings, making minor adjustments to his position. At first glance, people may think he was directly charging towards the dust cloud, but in fact...

At only less than twenty meters above the ground, a few meters from the dust cloud, he suddenly turned on his lateral axis, his feet facing downwards. His wings all pulled upwards, then flapped violently. That instant, around two dozens of his razor sharp feathers were released from his six wings due to the extreme inertia and sent flying into the cloud. Then his wings spreaded wide, stopping his falling momentum and flapped, flying upwards again.

Acion knew that flying into a place where he could not see was, you know, stupid. Why flying in there when you can unleash razor sharp feathers that can potentially even cut through steel? Just by attacking like this, he would still be able to maintain a relatively safe height from their attacks, while unleashing aerial terror upon them.
