There's just stuff post final event wrapping up. No idea when we're looking at going to the ball though.


In other words, I didn't miss much anything?
Can I get a quick refresher on what has happed, IC? I was too busy for awhile to read any of it. Last I remember, the final game of the GMG was canceled, and they were going to to after games ball or something.

Equal parts gun and sabre, able to smoothly transform into one or the other. As weapons go, this one is pretty simple, but its simplicity belays its deadly efficiency. The semi-automatic handgun packs powerful, high caliber rounds, and the blade is razor sharp. His favorite type of ammunition are hollow-point tracer rounds. As with all weapons, Ultimatum is Dust ammunition compatible.

Gauntlet(Pictured above):
Ferris's prosthetic left arm and his main weapon of choice. Made from a durable, highly-heat resistant metal, the "fingers" taper to a very sharp point, effectively functioning as a claw. Set into the palm and through the wrist is a massive and powerful shotgun so large it could called a cannon. It has a huge amount of recoil, enough to knock Ferris off his feet. Made to put down your average oversized, armored and charging Grimm. Dust can be loaded directly into his Gauntlet, allowing him to charge it or his Semblance with various effects. With his Semblance, though, he has to physically touch the metal for it to have an effect.

Also worth noting is his left leg, which is also prosthetic. He keeps lightweight so it does not hinder his speed, and as such, it is void of weapons except for a gun set into the heel.


Specialty: Midrange
With his semblance and weapons, he can effectively fight from any part of the battlefield, at almost any distance, except for extremely long range. He is a fast and nimble fighter that sacrifices defense for speed. He prefers to fight from a safe distence, gathering information on his opponent's capabilities, finding their weaknesses or waiting for an opening before moving up close and personal. His hand-to-hand fighting style is a juxtaposition of graceful, fluid slashes with his sword punctuated by brutal, crushing blows with his Gauntlet.

Ferris's semblance is quite complicated at first glance, but it primarily deals with two simple forces: Push and Pull.

When activated, his semblance allows him to telekinetically exert either a Push or a Pull on most anything made of metal, including alloys, similar to a magnetic force. Most metals can be affected, however, for some reason, certain metals, like aluminum and its alloys cannot be manipulated. Normal laws of physics (Force = Mass * Acceleration, Momentum = Mass * Velocity, and the conservation of momentum -- for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction) still apply here, so if he pushes or pulls against a more massive object, then him, he will be moved. Or if he pushes (or pulls) against an object much less massive then him, the object is moved. If he and the object are similar in mass, both will move relative to their respective masses.

A secondary aspect of his semblance, is when active, transparent blue lines appear. The lines are visible only to him, and serve a very important purpose. They connect to his center of gravity and lead to sources of metal in his vicinity, allowing him to "see" metal that is not immediately visible. The thickness and transparency of the lines indicate the distance and mass of the metal, respectively.

While powerful, his semblance does come with a multitude of drawbacks and risks. One of the more obvious ones is that if there is no metal in the vicinity, his semblance is completely useless. Another would be accidentally injuring himself by pushing himself into something, pulling something at himself with too much force, crushing himself by Pushing or Pulling on so, something too heavy. He has to be very careful when using his semblance lest he hurt himself, or even others around him. The direction he can Push or Pull can only be outward or inward from his center of gravity. Very importantly, he cannot manipulate metals in direct or indirect contact with another's awakened aura. No idea why, just another quirk of his semblance.


Personality:


Ferris is charming and dashing, yet cunning and cynical. He comes across as cocky and self-centered, but he usually put others first. He also tends to be theatrical, acting melodramatic for his entertainment and others. When he is not being a large Ham, He carries himself with a refined, gentlemanly manner. But when provoked, he has sharp tongue, and an even sharper wit. However, he will walk away from a fight if he can. He likes to meet people, and he is generally friendly, but he emotionally keeps people at arms length, never letting them get too close. He is not much of a team player, he would rather give orders then receive them.

A series of separate silver geometric patterns in a cross shape that resembles a sword pointed downward.



Appearance:


Ferris is a very tall, lean man, with short, semi neat, black hair that slightly covers one of his piercing yellow eyes. Several old scars ranging from small to large mar his face and body, especially around his left shoulder and leg. His left arm and leg are replaced by prosthetics. His left arm is long and shiny silver in color, it looks to be made of interlocking metal plates that function as protective and decerative armor. He keeps it covered by his coat, and on the sleeve over it is stylized black metallic pattern. His leg is much more natural in a appearance, being normal sized and shaped.

He is almost a always seen wearing a white and black coat with metallic buttons and black belts wrapped around it with a hood lined with grey fur. Under the coat, he wears a white and black sleeveless shirt without trims. On his right hand he wears a white glove with his emblem on the back. He wears black pants with metallic patterns on the belt and a white metallic pattern by his knees. On his feet he wears black armored shoes with white-grey fur.

Sorry for the huge delay, but I'm almost done. Just working on the background. I have two question, though.

One, what/where is the capital of the Kingdom of Leth'Arian?

Two, if humans, or a group of them, like a traveling troupe visited, how would they be treated? Poorly? Fairly? Is there racal discrimination among the Silver elves?
