@Jangel13 Fixed!
@Jangel13 Well, here's something for an app, i suppose. A little nervous on my end about it, lol.

I also hope this place lasts long enough this time to get some evolution in before another restart. I mean, because the idea is pretty cool and all. And i am not seeing any other RP's like this here on Roleplayerguild right now. Yeah. XD

@Jangel13 Ok, i think i have a better idea of things now. Thanks again! :D
@Jangel13 Cool, cool. And interesting as well. :D

So, with that in mind, would something like being a hardcore satanist who attempted to summon demons in former life give a connection to the demonic as a Skill?

Or would a nerd who was obsessed with dragons all their lie have something like a draconic trait as their "skill" or something like a very minor form of breathing fire?
@Jangel13 Yeah that makes sense! :)

And, just to make sure i am not confusing things, what would these connections amount to in-RP? (might be a dumb question...)
@Jangel13 Then i guess on to the next question. (Thanks) :)

What if someone in their past life was really close to nature, so as a Goblin this translates into a "Connection to Nature" in the same manner you presented a former priest having a "Connection to Divine" in your examples? (how does that example one work btw)
@Jangel13 Ah, duly noted. Sorry for suggesting that....but i can at least think of different ideas now. ^^;
@Jangel13 Hmm, duly noted. So the main character of Re: Monster has an ability where they can gain the advantageous abilities of other things by eating them, and by virtue of that is able to eat virtually anything (even stuff like metals) safely.

So i was thinking that, since that character's ability allows them to assimilate the abilities of other thing they eat, that i could make something to a similar effect for an OC.

Something like "was the recipient of a great deal of organ transplants in life" would translate to this ability: "Through physical contact with the body or parts of other creatures, whether those creatures be alive or dead, they can absorb/assimilate the DNA of said other creatures. What this does is grants them a very randomly chosen trait or boon as a result."

For example, assimilating the DNA of a horned rabbit might give them horns along with a stronger skull for headbutting at the very best, or might enhance their leg muscles a bit instead, or instead confer some other sort of advantage or the horned rabbits have that the user does not already have.

However, the gist is that this "boon" or "advantage" granted is not chosen by the user, but instead by you the GM for added randomness and variety.

(Dear heavens i hope this isn't a shoddy idea...)

(Though perhaps i am being too ambitious as well...)
@Jangel13 For fun, i have been trying to think of a different but legitimate way to have an "assimilation"-like effect like the main character from Re: Monster did for his Skill. Any suggestions? Or is that a bad idea?
