Times like this, I really wish I could figure out how to get my phone web browser to work nicely with Roleplayer Guild so I can log in on there.
So who does everyone want to team up with in the IC and against what villain?
Well, I am quite willing to team up with anybody as long as we can figure out how to get Martian Manhunter to the fight.
Within the near future, there's of course against the Fire Giants with anyone that joins in there. And the collab post with Kindred with Thor and Cay'an where we see where that ends up going. But there's a few others I've been meaning to ask about. And some telepath training between J'onn and Arthur along with any other storylines that end up opening between characters due to the Fire Giant attack.
@Supermaxx, I've been thinking that Punisher could end up running into Le'i at a gun store (as Le'i would like to kill Martian Manhunter now that he knows that he's alive) which might lead to a shooting range talk where Punisher hears things from Le'i 's point of view about Martian Manhunter and might decide to help with getting revenge. Which then could lead to Martian Manhunter and Punisher's actual first meeting and then the two of them having to deal with Amanda Waller. You're also free to have Amanda react as you think she would to seeing that seemingly, one of the Martians from the ship managed to escape her men and wind up in New York City within the space of a day while getting pass her men.
Then Benjamin (not dealing with how exactly I Martian-ized his name right now) will be seeking a job so that his group has a ready source of cash and some standing, so in part he'd prefer a place where he could be well paid for his medical tech expertise. Which leaves the question of where he'll end up working. I would prefer to have him within some established company where I would then be willing to collab events happening at the workplace with whoever has characters there.
Places I've then been considering:
Wayne Tech
@mickilennial classically seems to have some med tech focused. So while the city wouldn't be ideal for him, Wayne Tech would be a place that would most suit him and wouldn't be secretly likely to kidnap him for research. He might catch Batman's curiosity though.
Oscorp or Horizon Labs
@Master Bruce have the advantage of being in New York City and so would allow him to be closer to where everyone is. And I would be curious to see how soon Osborn or one of the other soon to be villains realizes what Benjamin is and what they would do about it.
Frost Industries
@Stormyx is also New York centered and would allow the telepaths to find each other, which could also get Emma Frost to know about the Martians.
Alchemax
@Half Pint seems like a place that would be a major corporation focused on advanced technology where Benjamin would think would be a fantastic place to work. He then would be dealing with the darkness from the inside and so grappling with that while also potentially dealing with the consequences of them ever figuring out his Martian nature.
Then Star Labs, a place classically tied to the Flash at Star City,
@Supermaxx could be a place where Wally West ends up meeting up with Benjamin.
I talked with
@Lord Wraith about Luthorcorp before. We'd decided it likely wouldn't be the best fit, but it might be an option if no one else will take Benjamin.
And if no one wants him, there's always Stark Industries. Unless someone has other suggestions. I doubt Benjamin would go government though, at least not willingly.
