Kain appeared to have been the first to arrive at his shared dorm, his roommate no where in site. While it did mean the anxiety remained for a little longer it did allow him to choose his own bed! Kain thoroughly explored and compared both rooms while pondering and fantasising about who he would be sharing living space with for the next year.
It was both nerve wracking and exciting.

'Perhaps a voluptuous young woman with many pretty friends, a lightning user like himself or maybe an exotic mystical ether user.'

Kain wondered around curiously inspecting the luscious apartment with a wide grin as he imagined the girly slumber parties and pillow fights.
He was pleasantly surprised by the quality and standard of the rooms. It was far fancier than what he had expected despite all the tales. Although being on the small side, the space was expertly used.

After testing both beds, Kain decided to take the room on the left, he threw down his few belongings, flicked on the TV and went straight for the shower.
The high pressure warm water was heavenly against his tired skin and aching muscles. It stung slightly as it run down into his small cuts and scratches from when he fell over, but that soon passed as it cleansed and soothed.
Kain lost himself in that shower and all track of time...

Dorian politely listens with some interest and allows the conversation to go on as he sips his wine and flicks through a small notebook.

"I am fine thankyou, I can pour for myself." he replies to her earlier question, his words accompanied by a small smile and nod.

Clay's shoulders slumped as the alert fighting tension slowly eased from his tense ready muscles. His eyes stayed fixed on Tic just for a little while longer.
She was right, it was enough. Clay eventually looked to Alex and rolled his eyes as he went and found the remainder of his clothes.
He said nothing more, he simple shrugged his shoulders and gave a crooked half grin as though he was the innocent one and Alex was overreacting.
With his eyes and mannerism he continued berating her as he remained nonchalant, moving deliberately slow and paying her concerns no attention.

He ignored the broken bar stool, the injured Tic and the angry Alex.
He casually greeted the man standing near Alex before shiffling up the stairs with a groan and a limp.

Keep having your convo, he is still there but will just sit and listen, occasionally sipping his drink.
I'll muster up a post some time soon but don't feel you have to wait for him ;)

During Maddison's short absence Kain's mood had totally flipped. He was now shovelling food into his mouth like it was a race against time. He paused for a brief moment to give her a wide welcoming smile.
As he cleaned up his tray ensuring he got every last scrap of food, he spoke between eating, mouth mostly empty.

"Hey, I overheard some of the other kids say the dorms are ready! Lists are around the place."
-Kain scrapes together some food and shovels it into his mouth-
"I wanna go check it out before class resumes, need a shower n' stuff. " he sniffs himself and scrunches up his nose to make a point.

Kain's eyes light up at the idea of a hopeful prospect.
"Never know, we could be roomies!" He says excitedly.
"Any way find me after last class. Also let me know if that fuck stain gives you a hard time again!" Kain stares at her with a stern look of seriousness and compassionate concern. Then as he gathers his things and puts his rubbish on the tray he rustles Maddison's hair, playfully teasing her as he walks on by, leaving the cafeteria.

"Keep out of trouble Madd's!" he calls back, giving her a short wave over his shoulder as he hurries off.

Fairy Tail

The tournament should involve some competition and elimination.
I think at this point the challenges should be more than a 1 post answer and involve other members.

Maddie was already involved in a fight, the because of her, the dining hall brawl happened. Wonder what else she can get away with... >:)

As Kain hung off the ground, his hands firmly wrapped around the giants massive arms to help suspend himself in its monstrous grip, he was finally ready to apologise. Not for the things done, but for what he was going to do.
He would break the unwritten rules of combat between men.

Thanks to this behemoth that bastard was getting away. Staring at the monster before him Kain heard the strange voice but didn't see it's owner.

"Is this really starting over some spilled food? Regardless, I'm going to have to insist you all calm down and not start a brawl. It is lunch break after all. Besides they're going to make me deal with whatever damage you cause so I would rather that be none"

No surprises there, a teacher was bound to get involved sooner or later, but it was Vlad's reply that had Kain seeing red.

"Thank you, take good care of these brats, like you see they provoked me for no reason"

With his left foot softly pushing against the giants thigh Kain swung his right foot back, then with the pendulum momentum and all the pull he could get from his upper body he was about to drive his right foot straight into the giants groin.
That was until Maddison came and stood in the way.

Vlad was leaving, a teacher was there and Madison was trying to take Kain away, this fight was over before it began. He remembered why he was here and if Maddison wanted him to stop he would stop...

Soon enough he found himself at a table along side Maddison as he slowly picked through his tray of food, examining what he had ended up getting.
He was a bit shy and embarrassed, angry and ashamed but mostly he felt like he failed.
"Sorry" he says breaking his silence.

Clay felt his backhand connect and a sick joy filled him. He stumbled and staggered for a moment as he found his balance and brought himself to stand.
Just as he turned to see Tic the little man rocketed right into his gut and the wind came rushing from Clays lungs.
With a few fleeting steps backwards Clay crashed heavily into a nearby wall but managed to keep upright.

With the following deep breath Clay knew he had at least one cracked rib. He winced in pain and let out a guttural growl. Quickly following his recovery Clay hurtled a nearby bar stool at Tic with a flick of his powerful arm, instantly he followed it by charging at his opponent with every intent to punt him like a stationary football.

Alls whilst Clay could smell that familiar undeniable scent of Alex's presence, he felt her eyes on him and with it a million self built social pressures that didn't really exist.

Despite all Kain's bravado, he hadn't been in too many fights.
He knew a few things though...

He felt the presence of the small giant towering over behind him and suddenly thought he understood why this red haired guy was so cocky, with giants for friends he could probably push anyone around.
Kain would not crumble to threats or intimidation, AND he DEFFINATLY was not apologising.

With a small flick of his eyebrows and a tilt of his head he gave the tiny curvy long haired girl who had taken to standing close behind the red head guy a very obvious 'scram' look and gesture.

Kain's youth had taught him two things about fighting, big people fell hard and to strike the biggest baddest guy first before they inflict the hurt.
Just then a girl came up and began to usher them away using some sort of air magic. 'great, another one.' he thought to himself.

Kain knew he didn't have the energy within him to throw his element around so he was at a massive disadvantage. He only hoped their classes were as exhausting as his, it didn't look like it. He was also out numbered. With a sigh his shoulders slumped as he conceived defeat. Anything else would result it a serious beating.
"Alright." he said softly, diffusing the situation.

Rinna dropped down and Kain thought of Madison.

A flash of bright light suddenly exploded from Kain, going off like a blown lightbulb. Instantly he was in the air and spiralling around delivering a fierce sharp blow directed straight to the giants nose.
As he drew his remaining charge into his muscles he knew by the time he hit the floor he would be as good as a mundane.
Everything was put into that one blow, from the blinding flash of light to the lightning speed that the last of his burning electricity lended to his ferocious merciless attack.

It was on.

To his advantage and thanks to the new girl, the giant was not properly grounded.
Following the momentum of his twist, a split second after the punch, he would forcefully push out his left leg to deliver a kick to the chest of the red haired, girl-beating, bully. He was not getting away unscathed!
