Vivian explains the situation again to both her friends. Speaking fast and nervously. "I think they must be responsible for those traps we found!" She adds, anger now seeping into her voice as she dwells on these poachers misdeeds. "Follow me, let's go right away!"
( Vivian urgently leads her friends to her families flower garden.)
The once beautiful serene garden was now a scene of unrest. Streaks of flattened flowers cut through the once colourful patches. Upturned plants and dug up dirt were an eyesore, signs of violence and struggle in a place made for peace and relaxation. Viv ran to her parents. Her mother's cheeks were still wet from the tears, her fathers red from all his anger. His arm was in a make shift sling and he had tears in his shirt that matched the long red streaks beneath it across his skin. Viv was speechless in her embrace leaving the questions and investigation to her friends.
( At the scene of the crime, time for investigation.)
Chapter One: Broken flowers
Poachers have attacked the Vaud's botanical flower garden, damaging their lively hood and stealing their Pokemon. The trio have now arrived at the desecrated garden and noticed Vivian's father has been injured.
The hallway was one of those long-seemingly-endless hallways. Every panel, crack and curl of twisted paint radiated with a rich history. Once exquisite and luxurious beyond measure it still maintained a truly lavish and rustic charm, possibly more so now than before as if somehow bettering with age. That is if one could determine or even understand its age. With a decor undoubtably sated to sensuality, one is led to and can only assume what exclusive elegant and indulgent parties may have taken place within these very walls. Little is it known that such answers were beyond mortal comprehension...
Suddenly the hallway stopped, seemingly sooner than it should. At the end was the room of the taverns boss. A room that only one worker had ever entered. None other had ever passed through this doorway. Some could claim glimpses of the other side but never with confirmation. Two wide double doors towered over those before it, intimidatingly barring entry and protecting the bosses privacy. Heavy and wooden, braced by sturdy iron with antique gothic loose hanging circular handles. An aura and a presence radiated from the doors. It billowed on the soft breeze that whispered secrets as it slipped around through the faintest of gaps and cracks between and below. It emanated from the very depths and soul of the woods core. It dripped from the roof and rose from the ground.
One might look upon the doors in the same way they would a sleeping giant. A hint of adrenalin leading the excitement. The indulgent worry of a youth misbehaving. An awe and curiosity waiting to instantly flip into an overwhelming fear and the grudging anticipation of knowing it would any second. What ever happened now could not be undone.
@ineffable The young girls eyes open wide in shock as she begins to nervously chew on her nails. "Ah ok, ha ha." As she responds she begins nervously fidgeting and slowly moving away. With a half hearted fake smile she now looked at this woman as though she carried an infectious disease, as though simply being in her vicinity could put others in danger. She acted as though breathing even breathing the same air as her meant ill fortune.
As she backed away she nervously uttered a soft sweet sing-song rhyme to the mysterious rhythm of the tavern.
"Confess your sins to a man of hay
man of hay, man of hay"
Sing and dance with him for the day, your
man of hay, man of hay"
When night falls don't delay. The
man of hay, man of hay"
In the fire he must lay, your
man of hay, man of hay"
Made from straw and lies, he can't stay,
man of hay, man of hay"
Or else instead the shadows take you away, In the form of a...
man of hay, man of hay"
Her voice was of an innocent yet eerie pitch, the words echoing of the walls as if the very tavern sung along too.
After every new patron entered into the tavern, the brief glimpse of their past quickly vanished behind the swaying swing of the heavy wooden door. In a flash, that blink of the door, the world outside would always return to the rolling green hills and fading night sky illuminated by a yonder bonfire, that the little girl had come from. Any regular patron would understand that this was far from a regular occurrence. This was defiantly not normal.
Azerus gasped slightly at the brutality of that last attack but didn't waste anytime. As soon as Roggenrola hit the floor in a flash he replaced him. With a thud and a small roar a ryhorn came into battle. Azerus didn't even take a moment to savour or notice his opponents expression. Ryhorn was much larger than his Roggenrola but this was the first time Azerus had seen it as its trainer.
Charge! He quickly yells at the giant grey stationary bulldozer. This the Ryhorn understood, it didn't react with the speed Azerus had hoped for, but after scratching at the ground and a heavy snort, the ryhorn lowered its head and charged. (3/3ep)
Without realising, Azerus found his hands were tight fists and his teeth were grinding against one another in anticipation. So this was a Pokemon battle. ""
She kept yapping. Azerus's brows furrowed slightly, foreseeing her smug grin and boastful berating at the end of the battle. As if it wasn't bad enough now, he cringed at the thought. Still, silence was his retaliation. Despite her attitude her thoughts reflected his own on some sort of level. He too found disdain in owning the little pathetic Roggenrola. He stared at it as it just stood there. Blank. No facial expression. Maybe he could throw it.
Either way it was about to get a hard lesson in battle. Type advantage fell to his opponent Cacnea. On top of that the duo they faced were a stronger team, better bonded. This was clear to see. Before the Cacnea had fully launched the attack Azerus yelled his own reply. Prepare for it, Iron defence with everything you got! (4/6ep)
The energy ball hit perfectly and exploded on Roggenrola, throwing up a cloud of dust. The Roggenrola was thrown back and came scattering out of the dust cloud, grinding across the dirt floor, stopping just before Azerus's feet.
"Hang in there, that was a tough attack." There was a small appreciative / slightly proud nod. "Now your turn, headbutt!" he yells with a fire growing in his belly. Despite backing his words with an eager enthusiasm that seemingly ran through the Roggenrola, Azerus prepared his next pokeball.
Roggenrola leapt back through the fading dust cloud, launching himself with everything the little rock Pokemon had left, head first at his opponent. (2/2ep)

Vivian launches herself at Leisy, giving her a big relieved hug. It looks as though she had nearly been crying with worry. "Where's Ella?" She asks her new friend as she pauses the gleeful bombardment. Vivian's tone and face flash with a brief moments pain and frustration."My mothers garden has just been attacked by poachers, it's all a terrible mess, and her favourite Pokemon is gone too!" Vivian explains to Leisy full of serious worry.
"We need to go right away, we might still be able to catch up with the people who don't this!" Viv's water-bound eyes stare deeply at her new friend as she almost begs her."Will you help me try?"
( Vivian looks for help on her mission!)
