So I have questions

How sciencey are the psychic powers? And for that matter, how sciencey are the meguca's powers?
For example, I want to make a cryokinetic, but the description of it makes cryokinesis near useless. Simple slowing down atoms' movement is only applicable in very specific situations unless you take a really liberal interpretation of how atoms work.
So I guess I just want to know if the psychics are like Raildex where everything has a quantum explanation detailing precise limits and restrictions, or if it's like the common idea where psychic powers are supernatural and the main difference between them and magic is where it comes from. So for example on the ones suggested:

- Telekinesis: Does this work because the ability turns kinetic or other forms of energy into work that moves the object, or is it just some unknown force because magic?
- Pyrokinesis: Is this the act of using friction in the air and separating elements found in the air to create an ignition and fuel source, or is it just *poof* fire, no physics needed?
- Hydrokinesis: Is this the control of large masses of liquid dew size or larger because "hey, it's liquid at that point," or is it control of the state of matter as a whole, or does it include changing the state of matter to liquid from something else, or is it only control of certain liquids like water based on their chemical makeup, or is it just telekinesis of liquid instead of force?
- Cryokinesis: Is this just slowing atomic movement, or is it control of heat energy, or is it classic pyrokinesis but with ice so you can just poof ice into existence? Can it control ice and snow and such once it's been created or can it only create it? Where is the threshold where it changes from hydrokinesis to cryokinesis? What would happen if the two tried to use their abilities on the same material?
- Aerokinesis: Is this just control of air currents, is it control of air flow, is it control of gasses? How does it work? Is it done by controlling pressure, or by enveloping it in a field that allows work to be done, or is it something else entirely?

Etc.

Insert similar questions for the magic. How sciencey is this meant to be?

That's part of it. I've already been dead and I'm not very fond of it. Plus, no matter how boring life is, being dead would be worse.

We've got what look like PCUs, an angel, a guy fighting the PCUs, and judging from the sounds on the other side of the wall, a few more people. Who the hell do I support here? Shit, shit. Okay. The angel probably doesn't care about me since Zee isn't here, and the Poes are... terrible. Kain quickly took inventory. His pocketknife, Zadkiel's soulshard, fifteen of his special needles... More than enough to take out a PCU or two. Now he just needed an opening.
