Hey, you know what's annoying? Being self-centered. Getting mad at people for doing something instead of something else when they're just having fun sucks. Gotta love self-loathing, too.

Nobody's worthless.

I could send you the source code or just create a black box system, but that's if we figured out what improvements you would make.

Why?

Sure, I'll do it then.

I'm as close as one can get.

Well, you said you had trouble melding the story to the game, so I could try to help with that. I doubt I could make any coding improvements.

I dunno. Just do.
<Snipped quote by DarkwolfX37>

It doesn't have to be a game.

That can be extrapolated to apply to all sorts of things. Gifts should remain gifts.

Thanks. Do you know anything about Unity? Other than the fact that he's a jerk?

Why not?

How do you win?

The same applies to everything.

Uuuuuggghhhh.

A little. I could probably learn it in a week or so though.

I stop caring about things very quickly.

Just sign up as far as I know.

Nobody gets to be special in this concept. Everyone can.

Not if it's as a gesture of friendship.

<Snipped quote by DarkwolfX37>

I delayed the release to polish the game more. I'm looking forward to Wizard Physics (name subject to change) the most, though. It's really hard to blend the story and gameplay well in SAS.

I thought you wanted any MR game to actually be good.

<Snipped quote by DarkwolfX37>

Isn't it YouTube Red?

No, I literally can't. Like, believe me, I'm passionate about the games I wanted to make. They were one of my life goals. But I don't have any motivation for them, even though they're my passion. And I can't work without motivation. I literally can't. It's impossible for me to make something worthwhile, so I just gave up.

Should still be payed for their work. That's time they could be using to do something that can sustain their livelihood.

Yeah I noticed. If you want help, I'm willing to help however I can.

I do, but I trust you to be able to make something good. Even if it's not perfect, I just don't care anymore.

No, it's on a free website/maybe a tv channel. therunner.go90.com
SO sven have you tried going upstairs during the recording section of RE7 demo? If so please tell me what happens because I'm convinced that if I could just play the demo I could find the good ending that nobody seems to have found yet.
Anyone gonna watch The Runner hosted by Matpat and maybe win money for it?
<Snipped quote by Techspert>

I wnat to help though!

<Snipped quote by DarkwolfX37>

No. Not a hundred. Like probably Twenty. I draw things by hand first then move it to digital. I don't really need a lot tbh. Sorry if I made it sound like I need to do a lot.

Eh. I always like to overpay for artistic work of any kind. Personal thing. Besides, it doesn't really matter until/if it actually comes to that point.

<Snipped quote by Extra>

I mean, the discussion is moot until somebody actually starts on an MR game. I have to finish the Sword & Shield trilogy first, and probably a mini side-game to test out a new concept because it'll almost certainly make some money, but I really do need to get this first one done before I can start making games for people for free.

When are you going to release SAS anyway? I've been looking for it on steam and haven't found it.
And you should totally go ahead and make that five hour simple DS you mentioned, I'm curious how it would turn out.
<Snipped quote by DarkwolfX37>

That's not true. Everyone has the potential to make something of themselves.

There are plenty of artists who do what they love for the sake of creating it and offer it for free to any who wish to use it. By the logic that you should pay all artists for their work, you should pay the Unity devs whenever you use Unity, even though they provided their engine for free.

<Snipped quote by DarkwolfX37>

You slept for four hours.

I don't.

Yes, because they can afford to. They're making that art for themselves, not for a specific project or person. That's the difference. If an artist makes art for a project or person, they should be paid upfront 100% of the time. I've got a chart somewhere if you want.

I didn't sleep in that time. :/

@DarkwolfX37 don't you think you should tell her partner that? ?

I will.
<Snipped quote by DarkwolfX37>

You can't just waste time and life like that. Build something people will love.

Sure I can. I wouldn't be able to anyway.

<Snipped quote by Techspert>

If you want my art, the game must be sold. As much as i would live to make arr for you for free, I do need time and supplies.

I know. I was prepared for that if actually going through with it. I'm aware of how important it is to pay artists for their work.

<Snipped quote by Extra>

Don't want to what?

Even if we did make it and charged or ran ads, the profit margins would be extremely low due to the oversaturation of the mobile games market.

Any artist that does work for a project should be paid upfront for their work. It's only right. Additional payment based on profit made is also good, but otherwise they're losing time and resources that could be going towards paying projects. I was planning on sending him 100 for the images in the dating sim if I ended up actually making it, but luckily it would be the last thing needed so I wouldn't even have asked him for art til the game was otherwise completely done.
