Hey, you know what's annoying? Being self-centered. Getting mad at people for doing something instead of something else when they're just having fun sucks. Gotta love self-loathing, too.

I will if I can scrape up the cash. But don't you have like a grand?

No and I've got to save everything I've got for the comp.

But am broke. I had work money but then all money went to tuition. Poof.

Bleh.
Mania is amazing. 10/10.

Psst. You should get me a copy.

The upgrades to even the Namekian Dragon Balls never changed what was considered a natural/unnatural death. Perhaps the Super Dragon Balls can violate the rule, but I doubt it would have been needed either way (since dying from fighting exhaustion isn't the most natural thing in the world).

Also night.

Wasn't fighting exhastion, he literally had to use his own lifeforce to fuel it. And Kami's balls had different strengths and weakness than Dende's. They could bring people back only once, for example.

I saw some analyses on YouTube on the scenario (which I still haven't figured out why I'm watching), and they mentioned the possibility that it would fall under that. But Roshi already died from the Evil Containment Wave, which wasn't considered natural, so it's possible that dying from an overdone Kamehameha also would be wishable.

Different balls. Roshi died when Kami was still around.

Goku never acted so concerned about anything for the entire arc up to that point. And I don't think I recall a point when he was close to bawling even as far back as Z. It was so strange to see, but it made me feel even more tense. I was genuinely concerned, because Roshi dying there would have probably been a natural death, meaning no wish-backs.

I want some Tien and Vegeta spotlight please. And Frieza. If he's gonna be the Buu replacement, at least show him doing SOMETHING sometimes.

It's much more a callback to OG DB. He never felt that emotional about his own sons after all, but Krillin and Roshi are up there. It wouldn't have been a natural death but there's probably a rule in place that anyone who dies in the tourney gets erased that they just never mentioned. That would be in character for the Zenohs.
It's only like... 18 minutes into the fight, it's projected to be a 30 to 100 episode arc, so there's still plenty of time to pull in the others. I just hope the next arc is for Caulifla. They haven't even shown a couple of universes' teams at all yet.

Part of me wanted it to be permanent, but Goku reacted to the situation so appropriately, I thought the way they handled it was equally valid.

To be fair, three or more other characters used the ECW without dying when they were weaker than Roshi currently is. And Goku only reacted right because he was reacting out of character for the whole tournament to raise the stakes. "Don't let your guard down" "I won't" "Holy fucking shit this is the twentieth time we've told you STOP LETTING YOUR GUARD DOWN EVERY TWO SECOND YOU SUPPOSED MASTER OF MARTIAL ARTS"

I went straight to Imperishable Night because I wanted to beat that one on Lunatic—the story is a bit irrelevant to me. I was between 7 and 8, so I went with 7.

You really should've started with 6, that's where the western fanbase came from, plus it introduced the most iconic characters.
<Snipped quote by DarkwolfX37>

You can learn the story by reading the wiki faster than playing the game.
Beating them on Hard instead? Or Normal? Or Easy? Easy is reasonable and still pretty hard.

Yeah but that's not as fun. Plus you probably skipped the first 6 games that introduce the main char and all.
Whatever is needed to get every ending. Cause sometime on easy the characters will just insult you and tell you to go home.
<Snipped quote by DarkwolfX37>

Could you clarify?
It does help, but overall, every game is going to be impossible on Lunatic until you have muscle memory.

Knowing chunks of the lore before playing them.
Well yeah but hopefully I won't need to beat them on Lunatic.
