I suppose, once this door opens, we figure out the lay of the land and find a map of the place. Though, would you rather play as a kid or as an adult? I don't know if you're quite tall enough to pull off the latter, especially if we're going into offices.

well, we can have duplicate elementals, I was trying for all different elements but if you want to take another that is taken it is fine. Could go for lightning too cuz electricity can cause burns too.

My question involves a digimon partner. I'd like an original but may need some help designing the various stages. Generally I want it to follow a Fox or Racoon mixed with a Gentleman/Phantom Thief theme. I'm not really sure if such a line already exists, my memory of the Digimon bestiary is pretty fuzzy. Basically I'll just be a disillusioned Digidestined that sort of went rogue after the apocalypse, and will likely take some convincing to play hero again.
The Youkomon line is probably the closest to what you're after in the canon.
