I don't think the term silly existed in your era... AS for your craftiness, I think you're underestimating Icon's intelligence, but he could prove me wrong. Either way, I'm not surprised. :p

Athena: What, you do not believe that there are silly or foolish people in Classical Greece? I think you are wrong.

So, I'd planned on doing a lot of work for posts on my days off this week, but my days off were cancelled because my bosses both decided that they needed my days off more than I do....so I'll post when I gt a chance...I'm pretty much going 14 days straight....

:( That stinks.

No vacation until Halloween sadly. Not that it matters,@dedonus is holding Icon hostage........

:p

Now you know how Iron Knight felt! *Arachne slaps Dedonus over the head*

Arachne: "Don't be saying that! That's mean!"

Fine, Aubrey. Fine! I'll get working on it as soon as possible. Also, here is a picture of Athena and her loyal owl companion. :D

You're calling me silly? I'm not mimicking a child's cartoon show lady. The only question is, will Icon actually fall for it like the cartoon hero or actually float away? That is the question of the hour.

Athena: "Yes, mortal. I am calling you silly. And you quite underestimate my craftiness."
<Snipped quote by Dedonus>

Don't you think he would question why they are launching a nuclear warhead at you in the first place? And according to the world, you're a myth so not much threat there.

Athena: "Silly mortal. I said "convince", not convince. Also, if everyone told you that prior to Columbus' voyage to the East Indies humanity believed that the world was flat, would you believe them?"

Weapon's master in the super world...

Despite Arthur being around for long, logically (keep in mind your PC is the exception likely) he could only have learn certain types of weapons that were in his Era and likely region until he became King. That doesn't include fire arms, advanced weaponry, etc. unless he learned from all his prior holders which means all of them had to have been masters of their art and that would take chunk of his lifetime even in eternality. *uses logic as a weapon*

:p

Athena: Who needs modern weaponry? I have the Aegis. And if you mortals try to launch a nuclear warhead at me, I'll just "convince" Eikon to punt the missile into space.
The All-Star Marvel and the Create-A-Hero RPGs are always open, @Gowi.

@Ruby: It was too bad that you couldn't stick around with the All-Star Marvel RPG. Unfortunately, we already got another Sthor (she-thor). But the Marvel Universe is a vast place. :D

@Altered Tundra: Spencer Reid.
Also Iwant to give @FacePunch congratulations, on making a scene that I decided was worthy of Hulk speaking.

Also cause that's 3 Heli-Carriers mentioned (I mean if Wolves attacked the one Fury was on Fury woulda whipped out the pistol lets be serious) I was thinking the one in Australia could be a third one and then cap us off (Currently) at three... if @Dedonus is cool with that.

Sounds fine to me.
@Dedonus I understand, your always welcome back here... If we keep going that is... It seems like no one wants to/can post.

Thanks for understanding. :D Maybe someday in the future I might have more time.

Wait, you're going the evil route?

If you're willing to be earth bound for a bit.

I can PM you stuff....

@Dedonus willing.

Fine with me. However, if we were to have two Hyperions, I would rather have one "Evil" and one "Good" (i.e. one like the Hyperions on Avengers Assemble and 616 and one like the Hyperions that crossovered with the Ultimate Universe).
@Apollosarcher I so would like to continue on with this roleplay (I'm not quite finished with my characters), but unfortunately, I do not think I have the time to give this roleplay the proper attention that it deserves. I feel like that if I tried to stay around, I would only bog down the pace of the roleplay while you all wait for me to get up a reply. I really hate to drop out because of Marius' relatively important role. I really wish I could keep going, but unfortunately I just do not have the extra time at the moment. I'm really sorry, :(

Isn't Hell technically another dimension as it's not attached to Earth?

Technically, yes. But I do believe that they were not actually from hell. From looking at the character sheet here, it is a little ambiguous about the actual location (it says pits of hell, but it is not capitalized, so it might not mean actual hell).

I always thought that they were from a place like Hell but not from Hell itself. The Arachne posts during that arc has Athena mention how "[our] Christian society mistakenly calls [them] ‘demons’". While part of me would use this to support my thoughts of the nature of D-Day, this also is a linguistic development where in ancient Greek daemon just meant 'lesser deity' and then the Christians took it up to be an evil spirit.

Also, that River Stix reference is not the actual Greek mythological one (because I have an monopoly on Greek Myth ). Hades would never let that happen.

Hades: *appears out of nowhere in a black cloud* "Why can't you all stop comparing me to Satan! By the River Stix! People only hate me because people fear death. There is a long mythological tradition that shows that I am rather well behaved, as compared to my brothers and sisters, besides Hestia of course, since she's the perfect child of the family."
