You guys should have discouraged me, I'm totally making Haircules now. I don't know when Eva will encounter him, but in the meantime he's a free B-Level Villain. By B-Level I mean practically everyone knows his weakness is a good haircut unless they grew up under a rock and never heard of him. Which means although he good take Icon in a fight with strength and near invulnerability, he has a pathetic weakness that is cutting or burning his hair. Then he becomes normal. For a hair reference (note he would look much like Hercules if he had a bad fake tan from Jersey, and was a total jerkbag) http://static.comicvine.com/uploads/original/2/26320/500262-kevinmichaelrichardson_thebatman_thejoker.jpg

The general idea for him, is that Haircules is from New Jersey, who gained his super powers from an experimental and accidentally irradiated jar of hair gel that mutated his physiology giving him super strength equivalent to the size of his hair. If his hair is bigger than the reference pic, then he could fight Icon one on one. So if anyone wants a pathetically weak bad guy to kick around feel free to use Haircules until he faces Eva at some point.

So he's basically Samson from the Bible.
I am going to try to finish my Raptor post today. However, I have a quick question to ask. It is currently winder still in the IC and one of my NPC characters (Sammy) is a cat-person. Would it make more sense for her to cover her tail while outside in the cold or not? And if it would make sense, how would you cover up the tail? I currently have her wearing two knee-high socks (one over the other) over her tail with hair ties holding the socks on. I just wanted to test the waters and see what your opinions of the idea was before I get up my next post.

@Dedonus@NeutralNexus You know some of that stuff that was in the Greek plays. And we say that those plays were the cornerstone of civilization in the same breath that we condemn movies with the slightest bit of cleavage. Christ, I don't know if people look at history, but have you even HEARD of a Bacchanal? (And remember kids, you can't spell anal without Bacchanal!)

It's Bacchanalia. Also, you have what you wrote in the parentheses backwards. What you want to say is something like "you can't spell 'win' without 'I'. Also, the Latin word, from which we get anal, not only can mean the obvious definition, but also an old woman. The more you know.
...Y'know, it's also come to my attention that we have a very wide spectrum of maturity.

One day, it's arguments about horseshoe theory and the marvels of Greek Civilization.

The next; big-titted driders.

Yup...wiiiiiide spectrum. :P

To my own defense, the later (kind of) comes with superhero genre. It wouldn't be any different than discussing the topics of Aristophanes' comedies (or Satyr plays).

Hey, you're a big boobed Dryder, who else would write that?

Arachne: "But look at his other female characters in this universe! They don't have to deal with this! Heck, one of them is still in high school!"

Dedonus: "Well, in the All-Star Marvel RPG, I am writing for Ms. Marvel and, even though she's still in high school, I have Mary Jane Watson as an NPC for Spider-Man. Plus, I have plans for the Black Cat and Arachne (not you, Marvel's Arachne/Spider-Woman)..."

Arachne: "Why do I even try?" *Facepalm*

Dedonus: "Also, on a kind of unrelated note (although Aubrey here mentioned them), I am working on the next Raptor post. ENTER ODYSSEUS!"
@Natty: I should be able to start working on the "Amazing Friends" post tomorrow. I'll start it and you can jump in whenever you feel would be a good jumping on point.
And Ded, based on conversations with Kali I'd say that the pics you're referring to were just to give an idea of what the outfit looks like, and not um...anatomically correct.

That what I thought, but I just wanted to make sure. Well, that means that Aubrey is still queen in that department.

Arachne: "Why am I being written by this guy?"
It's still late February in the IC, correct? I cannot remember whether it's February or March.
I apologize for how long it took to get that Ms. Marvel/X-Men/Brotherhood post up, but now it is!

Also, how could be have the Beast in a post without him quoting a section of some famous literature.

Carol Danvers

“Well, look who it is!” The Blob said as he basically ignored the baseball bat that had been swung at his skull, “It’s Benedict Arnold! I wonder if the British are coming!”

“So, if the four of you are down here, whose piloting your plane?” Lorelei pondered aloud. “Boys?” She said as she quickly turned her head towards both Avalanche and Pyro.

“Don’t have to tell us twice!” Avalanche responded. The two mutants aimed their arms up towards the Blackbird and unleashed their mutant powers against the jet. After a few seconds of being barraged by both blasts of fire and seismic waves, the Blackbird began to lose altitude, precariously falling towards the innocent hostages below.

However, Ms. Marvel darted up towards the falling X-Jet, pressing her back against the aerial vehicle in order to steady it. Using her energy-based powers to help slow the plane’s descend, Ms. Marvel guided the plane over the heads of the hundreds of people below and safely landed the plane in the unoccupied baseball field that was located in the Boston Common park.

Once the Blackbird was safely earthbound, Ms. Marvel turned her attention back to the Brotherhood and bolted in their direction. She snatched Pyro from the midst of the other evil mutants and flew towards the nearby Frog Pond. Her initial intent was to drench the pyromaniac in water. However, she discovered that the Frog Pond was too shallow to be of much use and that if she would have dropped him into it at the speed at which she was flying, she could have killed him.

Therefore, Ms. Marvel performed an aerial U-turn and headed in the opposite direction. By this time, Pyro had already in vain begun to try to wrestle himself from Ms. Marvel’s grasp. Across Charles Street, past where she had safely landed the Blackbird, Ms. Marvel saw a second pond that this time could be used to quench the fire-powered mutant. Once she was close to the pond, Ms. Marvel decelerated so that Pyro’s impact with the water would not be identical to him slamming into a brick wall.

After she ‘discarded’ Pyro, Ms. Marvel flew back towards where the rest of the Brotherhood (and the people who call themselves the ‘X-Men’) were standing a few seconds ago. While Ms. Marvel had been dealing with Pyro, the Brotherhood and the X-Men began to engage one another. Lorelei was the first to make a move, using her hypnotic voice to try to get the Beast and Quicksilver to become her little pawns.

“Men!” She began, “You are slaves to your hormones and your bodies. Listen to my voice and do my bidding. Destroy your fellow X-Men.”

‘Roll some sweet wax in your hand and stuff it in your companions’ ears, lest any of them can listen’, Homer’s Odyssey, Book 12. While not the best metaphor in the world, nevertheless it shall suffice.” The Beast quoted as he revealed that Lorelei’s powers were not be effective against either the Beast or Quicksilver.

And you think the sound isn't satisfying enough?
