Also @Dedonus my Future Imperfect plan with a separate thread still stands....

Just SOMEONE -looksatnooneinparticular- dragged Doom into a war.

Sounds good. Not Doom getting dragged into a war. Future Imperfect thread.
Finally finished with my app...tell me what you guys think

Looks good. Only thing that I would like to mention is that your formatting went out of control at the beginning of your sample post with it cutting off in the middle of sentences. Otherwise, application accepted.
Updates made to CS is there anything that needs work especially with the team backstory

Other than missing any history for Baymax, it looks good. Unless @DrewVonAwesome has anything against the reference to Tony Stark and Stark Industries.
Thanks @Dedonus. I don't understand what's wrong with it. Never had this particular problem before.

A few questions

@VATROU Who's Mr. Torgue?

@Athinar Is red your favorite color? Your banner and new character force me to wonder.

And to no one in particular, yet everyone at once, no one else is in space are they?

None of my characters are, but the Olympians (and the other ancient pantheons of the world) live on planets like the Asgardians do in the MCU Thor movies.
@Nightrunner Your costume image link is broken.
Le gasp. Impossible!

@Sep

That's impossible!
I really need to get caught up in the IC. I should have a post up really soon, in fact, probably tonight.

Same here...
Kelly Brown | Samantha "Sammy" Kadowsky | Zac Wilson

Zac pushed up on a barbell at the Albany State College athletic center. One of his teammates spotted him as the running back lifted and let fall the weights. All around him resounded the noise of his teammates using the other equipment that was provided in the athletic center. Heavy breathing, grunts, and the occasional clank of metal weights striking the ground. After several reps, Zac lifted the bar up one more time and then, with the help of his spotter, he placed the bar onto a set of hooks above him where the barbell could rest until someone else needed to perform a bench press.

Now that he had finished his reps at the bench press, Zac momentarily sat on the bench because his phone began to ring. When he picked up his phone, Zac discovered that his phone’s caller id showed that Sammy was calling. That seemed peculiar, since what reason did Sammy have for calling him? Why would his girlfriend not be calling him? In spite of these questions, Zac answered the call.

“Hello? Sammy?”

“You need to come down here right now!” Zac heard his out of breath girlfriend blare into his ear. Well, at least this answered the question why he was receiving a call from Sammy’s phone, or at least partially answers that question.

“Slow down, Kelly. What’s the matter?” Zac tried to calm his girlfriend down. Although he did not yet know what was going on, Zac could tell from Kelly’s rattled voice that she (and presumably Sammy, since Kelly was calling on her friend’s cell phone).

“Sammy and I were just taking a nice stroll through Washington Park when out of nowhere…” However, there was a short interruption in what his girlfriend was saying. Zac was still in the dark about what was going on, but he could heard another man’s voice in the background.

“Kelly?” Zac stood straight up from the bench where he had just a few seconds ago finished his bench press exercise. Before he got back to his conversation with his girlfriend, Zac mentioned to several of his teammates that he had to go because his girlfriend was experiencing a crisis. After he let his teammates know that he had to leave, Zac step outside of the athletic center and headed towards his car.

“Zac? You still there?”

“Yes. I just needed to get away from the guys so that I had more privacy.”

“Like I was saying, before I was rudely interrupted, when out of nowhere this archer who’s built like a bodybuilder jumped us out of nowhere. I’m triple tasking right now between talking to you, dragging an unconscious Sammy around, and trying to get away from this guy! How long until you can get here?”

“Momentarily”

Kelly pressed her back against a snow-covered tree while she was catching her breath. She peered over her shoulder around the tree to make sure Odysseus was not on their heels anymore. Once she confirmed that Odysseus was not in sight, Kelly turned back to her unconscious friend, whom Kelly held against her own body with her lower pair of arms so that Sammy would stay warm. Kelly then took a meager handful of snow and rubbed it against Sammy’s cheek.

“Come on, Sammy, wake up.” The wasp-girl said under her breath, knowing that she could not keep pulling her best friend and fending off this crazy archer. And she wondered where Zac was. He said he would be there momentarily.

“There you are!” Kelly’s heart jumped within her. Unfortunately that was not the voice of her boyfriend, but rather of her and Sammy’s pursuer. “You know that if you stay still, this will all be over that much quickly, for both you and me.”

However, Kelly all of the sudden saw what almost seemed like a brown and tan blur go right past her. One moment, the man so-called Odysseus was standing in front of her and Sammy. The next, he has been tackled onto the ground with Zac standing above him.

“Well, looks like your football experience is finally paying off.” Kelly joked with her boyfriend.

“I’m an offensive player, Kelly. I don’t tackle people on a regular basis. But sure, you can think that.”

“So, the short one has finally shown up. I was wondering when you’d arrive.” Odysseus rose to his feet and picked Zac off his feet. He then tossed Zac into the air towards the tree that Kelly had been hiding behind. However, before he could collide with the tree, Kelly placed Sammy aside and jumped into the air. Her wasp wings fluttered in the cold, winter air as she rose up and caught Zac could hit the tree. Once she had caught her boyfriend, Kelly landed on the snow-covered ground.

“Maybe I should play wide receiver.” Kelly teased her boyfriend as she let go of him not that they were back on the ground.

“I think we might more pertinent issues to deal with now than whether the ASC football program will accept a wasp-girl on their roster.”
@Angel Vicky@DrewVonAwesome Sorry it took this long to get that post up.

When I was watching the X-Men animated series over summer break, I knew I had to recreate this scene. And I got the opportunity in this post.

Carol Danvers

It seemed as if the Brotherhood were now in a precarious position. All of their hostages had been rescued, Pyro was out for the count, and Lorelei’s powers have been rendered practically useless only because of the common household item called the earplugs. However, they were lucky that the X-Men nor Ms. Marvel had picked up on the Blob’s slip of the tongue about how many Brotherhood members there were present at that time.

“Vanisher! Start the emergency evacuation now! Mastermind, Unus, help us distract these X-Men while we make our escape!”

Suddenly, the Mastermind’s illusion dropped, revealing that these three individuals had been present during the entire battle. Vanisher immediately disappeared into thin air, beginning their escape by grabbing Pyro and pulling him out from the nearby pond that Ms. Marvel had dropped Pyro in. Meanwhile, Mastermind unleashed his illusionary powers upon Storm, seeing in her mind her greatest fears.

“You are in a tight, tiny room, Storm. And the walls are collapsing upon themselves and the ceiling is beginning to slide down towards the floor. You cannot breathe, Strom, cannot move. You are trapped!” After Mastermind produced this illusion, which would take advantage of Storm’s claustrophobia, Storm began to have a panic attack. Not only did this cause Storm to fall from the sky, but, once she had crashed down to earth, it also caused her to produce lightning strikes that would haphazardly descend from the sky and smash down onto the ground.

“Mastermind, I told you to help distract them, not fry us!” Lorelei screamed at the trench coat wearing mutant.

“How was I supposed to know that was going to happen?” Mastermind countered. While the two evil mutants argued momentarily, Ms. Marvel had returned from drenching Pyro. She darted down from the sky toward the two arguing mutants, who were at the moment distracted by their quarrel, holding out clenched fists in front of her. However, fortunately for Mastermind and Lorelei, they were covered by Unus the Untouchable.

“Interesting. It seems that there are two different minds occupying that woman’s single body. Since I’m sure that this would count as a variation to the ‘two heads are better than one’ proverb, it might be beneficial to change that.”

Using his mental gifts, Unus merged together the two conflicting minds that were occupying Ms. Marvel’s body, intentionally bringing out the mind that had been dormant under the mind that had been in control a few moments ago. While Ms. Marvel’s psyche was trying to recover from this, she momentarily lost focus and as a result nose-dived into the ground below her. Once Carol had regained her consciousness, she stared around what seemed like a warzone to her, bewildered at what she saw. The last thing she could remember was working on her homework in the living room. How did she go from there to here?

Nearby, the Blob struggled with the Beast. However, the supersized mutant grabbed hold of the blue, furry man and tossed him towards Jean Grey, despite the fact that the telepath could safely stop the Beast from colliding with her. Once he had rid himself of the hairy X-Man, the Blob saw that Ms. Marvel was only steps away from him.

“Well, look who it is! It doesn’t seem like you got your share of dirt. Maybe you should take another mouthful, Milk Duds!” The Blob took a handful of Carol’s hair and slammed her face into the ground. Despite how hard she hit the ground, Carol was amazed that she had somehow survived that impact with the ground. Even as her body ached, she tried to pull herself off the ground. Peering up at her assailant, Carol waited a second or two before she threw a punch straight into his gut. However, she was not anticipating that it would be that literal.

“What that?” Carol muttered under her breath when she saw that her arm sunk into the body fat that composed the Blob’s belly. “That’s so disgusting!”

“Was that supposed to hurt? That actually tickled a little bit!” The Blob laughed as Ms. Marvel struggled to pull her arm out of his stomach. “Let me help you with that, Ms. Sparkle-fists!” The Blob therefore swung his belly to the side, tossing Carol off her feet and then reversed direction, flinging Ms. Marvel into the air. Once she was airborne, Carol’s momentum sent her soaring in the opposite direction and caused her to slam directly into a nearby tree, splintering the arboreal plant on impact.
