No as that would make him more of a straight up villain like Sylar from Heroes, upon whom the concept is somewhat based. The character concept I had in mind was where the person was a musician who had a sibling of some sort that had powers like him. But his were the abilities to absorb powers upon killing someone else and the ability to hear other powers a person may have in the form of musical tones, sort of a rare version of Intuitive Aptitude. The more they're used, the more complex and loud the tune. This power would also allow the original character to understand how a power he absorbs works upon the death of his victim as their death would "release the music" as he calls it.

In other words the powers "rhythm" would be released into his mind before fading away, leaving him with the knowledge of how to replicate or use it himself.

Since the GM said that villain roles were off limits, I decided to change the concept to fit an anti-hero character more. So no, not a serial killer, but an anti-hero who (preferably) takes down powered criminals and gangs in the section of the Shanty he chose for himself, believing them to be unfit to wield the powers they have.

Hence why he kills them. It is not because he wants to, but rather because he must to take their powers from them.

Did you click on the image and then copy the link from the bar where you normally see the https:// line of text?

I've had this happen to me before as well, where I've copied an image link by simply right clicking and it didn't display correctly.

Also, a question for anyone who knows, where would a person who can absorb powers by killing them fall on the Class list? I'm working on a CS myself, if you'll have me, and I'd just like to know what class my character should fall into.

Vitius stopped mid stride as his ears picked up the telltale sounds of boots slamming against wooden planks and the soft scrapping of steel sliding out of leather sheaths. Letting out an annoyed grunt, the vampire quickly moved to the side, avoiding Colin's clumsy attempt to lunge at him. Casting a disgusted and unimpressed glance back at him, Vitius moved over to the table Meg, Kate, and Nyssa were gathered around and tossed the corpse down on the floor a couple of feet away. Stomping on its head one last time for good measure, spattering blood across the wooden planks and his boots, Vitius slowly rolled his shoulders as he moved over to a nearby table and sat down. Propping his blood and mud stained boots up on the round surface, he leaned back and put his arms up behind his head in a crossed fashion.

Letting out a small sigh, Vitius closed his eyes and allowed himself to do something he hadn't done since they first arrived...

Kalon noticed the lack of noise first. Then he smelled the smoke. And then his eyes fell upon the burnt remains of the village as they drew closer. While there were still four houses left standing, Kalon was not put at ease. If anything his paranoia only grew even more as the others in his group began to spread out and explore the village, looking for any trace of the people who lived here or any clue as to what may have happened to them. With a low growl, Kalon cast a Guard spell upon himself, causing a faint bluish shield to form around his body before seemingly fading into nothingness. Shifting into a more adaptive stance, Kalon summoned up small balls of orange flame in either hand as he warily gazed at the surrounding woods for any sign of an ambush. It may have seemed an overly cautious or foolish thing to do in the eyes of the casual observer, but it paid off a few minutes later after Justin quickly dispatched an imp that was feasting on the corpse of an Imperial woman, when the thunderous sounds of footfalls echoed throughout the forest around them. A sound that was immediately followed by the whizzing of arrows and thrums of bowstrings as a volley of dark arrows were launched at him an the others in his group, one even managing to embed itself into some poor sods neck, causing him to go down a few seconds later.

Taking cover behind the ruined husk of a nearby building as several arrows bounced off of his shield, Kalon watched as several armored Daedra surged out of the forest and rushed towards them. Ducking out of cover for a bit, Kalon launched a small fireball at one of the creatures, sending it flying backwards a couple of feet, but other than that it did next to no damage. Kalon scoffed underneath his mask and shook his head at his own foolishness. Of course a fire spell wouldn't have done anything. These were Daedra after all, and from the orangish black design of their armor, they hailed from the Deadlands. Mehrunes Dagon's plane of Oblivion. Which meant that casting a fireball at one of them was about as useful as casting a bucket of water at the ocean. Moving back behind cover, Kalon dispelled the orbs of flame and replaced them with a Hailstorm spell, wreathing his hands in an icy aura.

Rolling back out of cover while simultaneously readying the spell, Kalon quickly leapt to his feet as he came to a stop and cast the spell, causing a storm of cold and frost to envelope the Daedra, slowly freezing them within their hellish looking suits of armor until they were nothing more than vaguely man shaped blocks of ice that softly glistened even though the suns light was completely obscured by the dark grey clouds overhead. Smirking underneath his mask, Kalon brushed the dirt from his robes as he went to aid the other members of his group. Not out of genuine desire to keep them from seeing harm, but rather out of a desire to keep them intact enough for future use.

I have some interest in this roleplay. I do have a concept in mind you might have seen on the Guilds Discord, if you didn't then let me know and I'll explain further. And while it was originally made for a serial killer type character, I think I can make it work for a type of anti-hero who targets various small time Varient criminals or gangs in the poorer parts of the city.

Ah alright. Though tbf, it probably would have been later on. Maybe in a future roleplay or something. I still have to do David and his brothers arc and any interactions along the way as it is, so there's that. No harm in asking though.

Myriad Reality

So I hate to do this to you all, but I'm going to have to drop from this. It's not because of a lack of things to do, I know I can create my own events and whatnot, it's mainly because I feel I have too many roleplays going at the moment to continue. I might come back sometime in the future though so not all is lost.
