Seeing actual bushfire footage looks straight out of Hell... It moves so quickly and so powerfully, literally the trees just ignite. You firefighters are absolute legends, but please, don't die.

Welcome to my little personal den of Hell! Sorry, sorry, I meant my personal profile. Same thing, right?

I'm a roleplayer, same as any around here. I've been doing it for about five years now, coming up to six in September. Its been quite the time, thinking back. I started out fresh as can be, understanding the basics of writing but never quite knowing how to become better, or become as great as those around me. In the end, I did the only thing I really knew at the time:

Write as much garbage as possible and hope for the best!

As you can see, that particular tactic fucking failed.
Jokes aside, I like to think I've developed a lot over the years, both as a writer and as a person. However, absolutely nothing can dissuade my weeaboo ways and supporting my OTP with all that I can freaking muster! If you haven't already guessed, said OTP is Chrom x Robin (Chrobin) from Fire Emblem: Awakening. Highly recommend the game, there's a reason (other than nintendo's cheapskate attitude) that it hasn't dropped in price, it's honestly the best place to start off in the series. And hey, maybe you'll end up addicted like me and want to buy every game on the 3DS like a fucking loony?

Speaking of loonies, the Fire Emblem Chrobin Comic Dub Project has recently finished, so for those of you who also appreciate the best ship in existence, I highly recommend it. Hell, even if you're not interested in that, I do highly recommend watching it for those into fantasy love stories. The quality improves drastically with each episode, so trust me when I say by the end of it you should be thoroughly impressed. It has helped motivate me in ways I can hardly describe with words, and so I thought the least I could do was put this out there. Maybe it's not for everyone, but I know it was the perfect thing for me.

"Do you think you can tip any of the scales in here?"
"Chrom, for the love of Naga, I'm thinking..."

"So I heard."

"There are better places
to take a nap than
on the ground, you know."

Just to quote the 'Overview' in the OP:

"So this is an RP where 7 of you will play the roles of dead assasin spirits who can exist in the mortal world one at time through a single body, (that changes in appearance with each spirit) while the others reside in the 'mind' of the single vessel; the limbo like 'penthouse'."

So yeah, we all change appearance depending on who is currently in control of the body :P
I think the last part is unecessary; the idea of requiring special materials for each 'runic' element is enough for me.

Definitely a good idea :P But I'm not the GM so I'll leave it up to them.
@6slyboy6 Having fun is all well and good, but considering everyone's definition of fun is different and everyone has different tastes, it's good to remain mindful and respectful of others when it comes to RP :D That said, I think you did a pretty good job of managing balance with power by using the DnD set of rules, and using traditionalised runes for more powerful spells would help keep challenge about your character as well as making him not entirely useless. Since you're using an apparently otherworldly magic, that means you couldn't just find some special runes in a merchant's store and buy them out - they'd need to be hand-crafted by your character, yes? Something which would take considerable time and energy just to make a dozen or so ^-^ Not to mention if you take on board Liferusher's idea, it not only requires time, but also specific items which could be incredibly rare in Lugnica. It helps add good insight into future conflicts, making sure your character needs to always be prepared for a powerful engagement, which could lead to some interesting developments (i.e he rushes in to save a civilian or friend despite not being fully prepared).

Personally, and I know this is an invalid opinion because I don't have any authority, but personally I think the idea has some merit :P Of course it'll need to be fleshed out to the GM and co-GMs standards, but it seems to me like it could work, even if he can cast basically all types of magic. Maybe what he casts is dependent on his surroundings? Like a magic version of Castform? :D
@PlatinumSkink Hehehe! :D I said before, I think, that Ren wouldn't fight fair unless it were in, say, a competitive match. It's not necessarily hurting her opponents with injury to blind them, however it wasn't her fault if they tried to hit Shyn, only for him to avoid the attack and their own Pokemon took out their trainers ;)

'So tired...'

Emile is barely awake to respond, her mind steadily succumbing to the urge to sleep. Her eyes shut, and her head bobs steadily, as though she's about to pass out. A little rest couldn't hurt, right?

...

Wrong.

Grian shakes her awake, and her eyes, half-lidded and glazed, register her newfound teddy bear standing up in the direction of a rising sun. At hearing the prospect of being carried, Emile almost immediately gets to her feet, and stands on the bench in which they both almost fell asleep on, crashing against her teddy like a brick. Her arms wrap around his shoulders and her legs around his waist, head finding it's place nuzzling against Grian's neck. "Don't worry... I'll make it..." She yawns, eyes closed, disposition calm. As her breathing calms it becomes clear that what she said wasn't likely going to happen.

She's asleep.

Raissa snorts and begins laughing as soon as she realises what had happened to poor Jonathan. He wasn't the only asshole of the group, though the correct term for her was childish. "Hehehehe! Oh my god, yes! I was about to say you should've switched with me, brother Nicky, but watching Johnny boy get shot at like that was definitely a good call! And before you lecture me about success taking priority, I know, but that doesn't change the fact it was hilarious."

At least Randy had the right idea, Raissa raising her arms as though to emphasize his point. "Yeah, the shander-food-thing! It's almost poetic, aue?" Her question toward Randy was accompanied by the mindless shuffling of cards, soon followed by Jervis' announcement of a new contract. After being handed her file, she surprisingly read through all five Corvin daughters' profiles in relative silence, her intrigue and curiosity clearly visible. She took particular interest in the youngest daughter, Tabitha, staring at the young girl for a... disturbingly long period of time.

"No worries, Jerv. I'm not feeling that thirsty now." Her response was almost monotonous, her attention fixated on the five daughters of Calvin Corvin. Dolores's story also seemed to heavily interest Raissa, the 'falling to her death' method ringing a few bells in Raissa's own memory. She'd already worked out which of the five targets she could be of use in, and which she'd probably die in. "Can we just put in our requests now? I'd rather not be killed by someone smarter or fitter than me. So try not to count on me too much for them, yeah?" Although she knew the assholes would probably call for her more in those missions now, at least they knew who to call for when it came to the other three. After all, being a stalker, glamorous at events, and walking into the unknown were all things she was good at, both in life and un-life. Having someone challenge her creative genius and annihilate her in physical activities were not things she had yet grown accustomed to.

Her gaze turns to Alejandra, who was looking at Dolores as well for some time. "Irmã," she began curiously "você quer matar o assediador? Shall we kill the stalker?"

Victory had been assured.

Ren grinned to herself as Horsea's bubble was aimed at Houndour, leaving the perfect opening. "Shyn, now! To the enemy trainers!" Ren ordered, likely taking everyone by surprise. Shyn complied almost immediately and began charging right towards Oaken and Rodger, his speed clearly his best trait. Though the distance was relatively long, she assumed Shyn could not only make it before Tyrogue could catch up, but also possibly buy Houndour the opportunity it needed to land a strike against Houndour with ember, considering both of their pokemon were likely faster.

As soon as Shyn was close enough, Ren grinned and issued her attack command. "Shyn: flash 'em!" Again the little electric creature charged up light, and released it right before the two enemy trainers. Hopefully this would be the distraction they needed to win the battle...
@Bishop Jonathan should be fine :D I just wanted generic_NPC_#2 to have died several years ago by Raissa accidentally sealing him with a throwing card. Since she's spent some 30-40 years in the afterlife, assuming that's how it works, then there's bound to be stories of everyone in the room :3
@Dynamo Frokane I might've missed this somewhere, but could someone, uh, 'accidentally' kill another in The Deadly Room? :D Something tells me they'd be immortal in TDR though, but it all comes down to how ethereal we are.
@chiru@Bishop ^^ Gun-bait meat shield is the best choice! :D Now Jonathan will be shot to death immediately! Or not, much to the dismay of the entire cast :P
