Yeah, I was gonna go Freeza Race as well. Possibly even recruited after becoming a fugitive of the Empire, even.
Interested as well. Also, hey Chev, it's been a while. How the hell are ya?
They were focusing on who they viewed as the weak link. In this case, that meant the person who had lesser experience in dealing with these tactics, and whom was also the primary target to begin with. That meant Niko was about to be a tough position, and while Han wanted to do something to change that, there was not much he could do at this moment. He did, however, take special notice of his own two opponents. They weren't actually attacking, just putting on a show essentially. They were there to distract, to force Han to focus on something else so that the other four could close in on the target.

But what if Han could use this somehow? Sometimes, the bait used for a trap could be too tempting for its own good. Perhaps that could be the angle? These men wanted to be bait? Then maybe Han should lean right into and make them regret luring him in in the first place? It was worth a try. Han suddenly pivoted from his usual defensive/evasive stance. Instead he went on the attack, full stop. Something he didn't do even when fighting Niko. These two were so focused on their movement that they left their actual guard practically nonexistent, so all Han had to do was out-speed them. Luckily, he knew the one technique devised specifically for that purpose.

"Taiyoken!" Han used his technique once more to blind his two opponents. He tried to weave between them, and unleashed a furious assault on both men as much as his stamina would allow him to. The faster they could eliminate one or even two of them, the better.

Although... oof, I dunno. Either way, someone's gonna end up in a bad position. My initial thought was for them to trade places so that Han can use Taiyoken on the 4 assassins and then just turtle up with all defense to take whatever they're dishing out. But I don't think Han has the numbers to pull that off right now. He's down 78 PL, he'd have to put probably 10 into a Taiyoken which then leaves him with 68 to allocate between 4 targets, two of whom are coming with 30 attack.

I hate to predict it. I really do. But I don't think we can win this. At least, not on our own.
@Balthazar007@Balthazar007

So are we allowed to trade targets like they did? That seems to be the obvious solution to this particular round of combat.
@Double There might be some issues with your post. Or I may just be seeing it with tired eyes. So I'm going to look tomorrow morning.

Good post though!

Oh, and the debuff is only going to last for the turn that it's being used.

The only issue I can see is that apparently my math was slightly off and I need to allocate 10 more points overall to my targets...

In which case just add 5 to to the Attack and Speed going toward my attack on Assassin #4.
@Balthazar007 Apologies for the triple post, but this needs to be asked.

Did we ever discuss how the long the debuff from my Technique would last for? Because I don't think we have yet and that might be an important thing to factor in right about now.
Phew, made it in time.

Also, I was FINALLY able to reveal my Secret Technique, Taiyoken. Dub fans know it as the Solar Flare.
These men were taught the fundamentals, but likely not much beyond that. Han had the unique knowledge of how the Wuye-ying operated from the inside. Only those the boss showed favor for got to receive any advanced training. And that was still not the full regimen that Han himself had grown up with. So against any one of these men, Han could end it instantly. Six would prove a bit more tricky though, and he and Niko were probably going to need to employ a divide-and-conquer strategy in order to minimize the numbers they would have to individually face.

3 of the assassins closed in Han, but their feint strike movements meant nothing to him. This maneuver was practically identical to the one he himself had employed against Niko last night. Nothing about this would catch Han off guard. He strangely waited before entering his own Shinigami stance, appearing to let the assassins make the first move. Or at least try too. At what seemed like the last possible moment, a small smile formed on his lips. Both sets of middle and forefingers instantly reached up to barely touch his temples, "Taiyoken!" and then, all at once, a blinding flash of light erupted from Han's forehead. Unlike these men, Han had been taught everything about the Shinigami style, including it's fearsome techniques. This one in particular was traditionally used to blind victims for a few moments, more often than not leaving them vulnerable to be finished off. Han instantly went on the attack after this, focusing largely on the assassin with the weakest guard and he went for a throat chop as strongly as he could. Better to down one of them immediately if possible so that he would need only focus on the remaining two.

"Did you forget who exactly you're dealing with?" Han asked his attackers, "Allow me to remind you. You may wear the symbol, but there's only one God of Death standing before you." if nothing else, this might be enough to strike fear in their hearts as an intimidation tactic.

Okay @Darkmoon Angel & @BladeSS4, I've responded to your characters in one post.

I'll respond to @FalloutJack's latest battle post tomorrow, unless @Double would like me to wait for his post so he doesn't get too far behind?

I'll get it out tomorrow. Shits been... chaotic this week.
