As Billy flew through the skies on his beat-up car, Amaryllis pursued down below, leaping atop of buildings and sliding underneath signboards. Even when skyscrapers occasionally blocked her view of the muscular lich, her Sword always led the way, its own sense for the blood of monsters sharper than hers. But soon, the steel and concrete of civilization gave way to a more suburban plane, abandoned houses lined up by an intersection. Vaulting over one of them, Amaryllis crested over just in time to see Mariette appear from a portal, putting an end to Billy’s escape and making her own bombastic declaration.

A laugh escaped Amaryllis, the first she had ever since she returned to Penrose. That’s right, she couldn’t disappoint a kid now, could she?

Landing upon the ground and brandishing her Silverlight, the Knight of Rose tossed her hair into the air, chivalrous bravado striking her features as she disdained the armed ghouls that the foul lich called forth. “I’ll be glad for it, Sage of the Shadowed Gate,” Amaryllis spoke. “Let us show all these fell creatures that the protectors of Penrose have returned, and that there will be no tolerance for their fiendish desires now!”

And as Billy charged, so did Amaryllis, shooting through the streets as her Sword drew silver sparks against the asphalt. Sophia’s magical ordnance devastated the land and Hilaria’s tower shield met the army truck head on, two more allies Amaryllis was glad for. The faster they slew this villain a second time, the less damage the lich could do otherwise. Automatic rifles were just rifles, after all; if a civilian was caught in the crossfire, that was basically a loss.

Stepping on Hilaria’s shoulder, Amaryllis somersaulted off the ancient magical girl and fired a wink at her as she passed. Already, her Sword was clashing with Billy’s own, the second act having begun.
Someone did that to you in this RP's Discord server? Set up a PM then. I'd suggest putting all your planned subplots in a Google Docs too.
Ah, I see. If you want help, I can set up a private channel in the discord so you can get advice from all the GMs.
What are the NPCs for and why are they so important that you can't just find anime pics you like and assign a couple of tropes to them?
Could just set it as a contested check between their MAG score, yeah. I'm fine with that.
Would they be able to manipulate molecules and such with their electron control? I vaguely remember that being the gist of Darker Than Black protag's deal.
@PhonicOffer some examples of what she can achieve with her minute control cause I don't science good. I also dunno how Ari feels about it, but I'd say that she can only easily manipulate electricity that isn't produced by someone else's magic.
@PhonicDoes her Gifted perk give her any special magical ability that other Lightning girls can't replicate? Or is she just generally good at the basics? If the former, specify it in the CS. Other than that, I've no complaints so toss it in the CS section.

"Thank you for your consideration."

With that, Sorano twisted the ignition key and drove off, the seats rumbling alongside the engine as the radio chattered on softly about traffic news and meteorology reports. Clear skies were nice, and there were no real problems in traffic to worry about, beyond the usual afternoon congestion, which was easy enough to avoid by taking to the side streets. The drive was quiet beyond the radio chatter, and they progressed at a fast, if legal, speed, soon arriving at the allocated parking lot for entering this particular forest. Few cars were present, and the bespectacled Hunter backed in with one smooth turn of the steering wheel. Sorano was certainly a competent, if perhaps excessively vigilant , driver, constantly checking all three mirrors as she drove, even when it was clear at a glance that there were no other vehicles on the road.

She stepped out soon after, waiting for the others to exit as well.

The train probably arrived at the stop faster, but the car stopped close enough to the entrance of the forest that the difference was more or less negligible. Grabbing a couple packages from the back of the Jeep, Sorano secured them to her uniform, before locking the vehicle and marching off.

Her schedule for eating her almond-cashew mix was off, but it was basically trail mix anyways, perfectly fine for eating while on a hike towards the monsters' den.

"Don't worry 'bout me, Willow," Cecilia replied, her body already glowing with the radiance of redemption. "Didn't spend my money on these expensive ass spells just for someone else to waste their cooldowns on me."

Still, the battle had gone ridiculously smoothly again. Maybe her sense of scale was still out of whack after taking on that Floor Dungeon just the day before, but Cecilia was feeling pretty confident about Reliqua now. Talrae floors limited one's level to multiples of 5, but for the first three levels, the maximum was set to 20. Taking that into consideration, maybe they were even a bit overleveled for this situation? That was good. If only they left one of the Baby Blues alive to call over the Chitters. Considering how weak everything was here, it'd be great to farm another couple of those dinosaur hides from the midget lizards, drop probability be damned.

"Welp, here ya go, Holly," the Lancer said, tossing over one of the Baby Blue Pollens she had, before sticking her spear into the ground, "And I guess for Java Roots, we'll just need River to dig around that tree, yeah? Let's get this stuff done!"
