A heated soul to match the gift bestowed upon her. A mind as sharp as the edge of her tongue. A focused vision of the future striven toward with a force of will entirely her own. Christina is determined at her best but a woman who cannot be reasoned with at her worst. There is a place at the end of a long road where her future resides and she intends to reach it before she rests. In this way, she has often been described as too headstrong or too confident in her abilities, often to the detriment of those around her.

That is not to say she isn't altruistic. A part of her drive is birthed of her desire to protect a name that she believes is more important than most. So, in a way, she does right for a skewed vision of benevolence. The world is sick after all and only those who own it can fix it.

Christina is seldom seen in wear overtly feminine and prefers to keep to comfort and convenience. Cargo or sweat pants, crew tops and a baseball cap are her usual MO when not in uniform.

Christina was born in the city of Falden, capital of Astaria, to a legacy built by BlackRock. Her cradle was one spun from a web of money and information that held together every part of the known world. Her birthright is no minor thing, and the structure of her early life was herald of this. Lessons beyond the scope of those children her age were wedged in between the hours spent on a typical education. Skills well beyond typical purview were introduced and practiced until the motions became dull and uninteresting. Languages were learned from both continents, the state of affairs from far flung countries studied and the operations of the larger, competing companies explored so she could remain as ahead as was expected. When not in the books, she was in a studio learning to defend herself. All of this at the behest of a father who meant well and invested in a daughter as he often did in all things he knew would succeed. He'd recognized a fire in her eyes early on and fed it.

Her mother recognized that same fire and feared for its ravenous appetite if left to burn uncontrolled. Through the eyes of a soul that knew freedom above all else, despite the rigors of the family she married into, did she guide her child to a side of life that was more adventurous than most knew. Instead of the law of man or the ladder of the world's hierarchy she was already standing precariously on top of, she was taught what came of forging her own path and what would happen when it was allowed to wind. There were treasures buried on the side of the road, easily overlooked by those who were always staring straight ahead. Flowers, and colors and smells and the way sunlight danced on giggling streams or the way leaves whistled in a soft summer breeze. The sky breathed. The mountains were more than just a pile of earth. The ocean was deeper than anyone knew. Long before man tasted dirt and long after, there was only this. A beauty and balance to life and to hers and it was important that she always remember when to keep it. Preparing for the future was forsaking the present, for today, she had everything she needed.

The year the comet visited upon the planet its gift marked the end of her life as a child. That day, a fire streaked across the sky painting red and orange across blue in a brilliant dance more beautiful than anything she'd ever seen. But as clouds burned in wings of light and the Earth shook heralding an arrival non could foresee, a piece of her died with the change. Emptiness found her home and in the absence of balance, grief took different forms. While her father took to that grief by securing what he could from the dying world in an attempt to save it, Christina took to what she knew best. There were ways to find for herself a physical and cathartic release from a frustration she couldn't voice and the fire inside her demanded it, or at the very least for an answer to her question. Despite her father's protests, she began training with BlackRock's growing private military and would in time redirect that fire within her to something more pinpoint than owning half the world. After this, she fell out of the public eye.

BlackRock continued to rise from the ashes of the world, encroaching on territories that were not its own and claiming for itself resources it thought it needed to win a war. It continues to do so to this day.

Christina's elements are fire, air and ice, although air and ice are very rarely manifested by her as either element alone. Her powers are typically used in the manipulation of temperature. As an example, Christina's body remains warm enough that heat can be felt inches away from her skin. Direct contact can at times be uncomfortable, or rather comforting depending on the situation. Despite this heat, Christina never feels 'hot' or needs to shed clothing faster than an average human in the same space. She can however stand in plain clothes when in freezing temperatures and envelope those around her in a warm bubble of air to protect them from the cold. Additionally, she can insulate herself from extremely hot temperatures, allowing herself to walk across flames or touch superheated items without burning herself.

Christina can also absorb heat or energy from her surroundings, lowering the temperature or even freezing objects or people. Doing so makes her extremely hot to the touch.

The most common use of her power is as beams of intense heat that are emitted from her eyes. The effective range is roughly fifty feet before the temperature begins to drop off. When within range she can cut through solid steel in measures of seconds. While these beams are colorless, when emitting heat, the irises of her eyes will begin to flicker a bright orange.
