Bio

Hello everyone!

I love roleplaying. That is why I am here. And you are too I suppose! So we already have that much in common! Sweet!

I will play anything with a thick enough plot. My favorites include fantasy and magic themes.

I'm not sure what else to say here.

See you in game!

I'm interested too.
Hey guys, three months late, oops. I posted a wrap up. I know there are some big jumps, but, you can post a fill in if you want of your character escaping, or not. If enough of you want to I will make a new thread. If not I can close the story there for now. I am really sorry I have been so inconsistent. You deserve better GMing.

Anyway, hope everyone is well!

Hirshe began to shake and steam. The steam would suddenly burn, hot, and singe the flesh of anyone who touched it... Perhaps a thick skinned gargoyle or a felt skinned monster would not feel the effects so much... The woman holding the shield on the glass, however, was neither and she screamed as a stream of red steam struck her ankles.

Then the steam became cold, fogging the windows that showed the sea. Hirshe shook, vibrating violently, then... He became still. The glow faded.

His head rolled to one side, his breath stopped... For a moment...

Then it turned, and a voice his friends would recognize he said... "huh?"

The glass cracked, the girl holding the shield passed out, water began to seep through the seams.

Meanwhile above, Tristian, stared, wide eyed.

"My friend... My dear friend... I didn't know... If I had..."

"Lies do not suit you, Tristian. Even when you believe them." Dzel spoke, but in a voice that was not her own. It was deeper, masculine, like smoke. Her face changed, she grew taller. Her black hair shortened, and seemed to rust, turning orange, her skin paled and freckled...

Her face changed into a face that all the other-worlders would recognize, or perhaps not recognize, but find familiar. Either in a distant memory, something from a half remembered nightmare...

Herbert would recognize the face, and remember the name.

Smith.

Tristian fell to his knees, his blood, his life water, falling out of him. The ship he commanded with his power, began to tilt and sink. "I wish I could go back and... I would have..."

"You were there, Tristian. You did nothing, Trisitan. Peace keeper... Coward. I am going to kill all the rest, and then I am going home. Damn the cost."

When Tristian died, the animals went wild with rage and sorrow. The whales and fish and creatures that followed the fleet of vessels struck the side of the submarines, cried into the sea, turned upon one another and the humans that traveled with Tristian.

"Time to go." Said Smith, and grabbed Herberts hand.

But someone else grabbed Herberts other hand, The other Dzel perhaps. It would all become chaotic as the submarine began to fill with water.

Rozalind shot at Smith. "This way!" she missed, her bullets made more holes in the walls, more holes for water to come into the hall.

Then Dzel touched the side of the giant Wolf Wolfe, there was no more time to be afraid. "Come with us." The beast who had found control, could also now find some more of himself, some peace...

How did they get away from Smith? Did he escape the sinking ship? As the team desperately escaped into pods and lifeboats Smith never seemed to hurry or worry, he just stood and watched them flee, the water rising around his knees.

Injured, confused, the survivors of TRIDENT were few. The other-worlders gathered on the surface, on a strange beach... baffled... puzzled... Nightmares and puzzles would haunt them... Mysteries that begged to be answered.

The mystery of the RIFT needed to be solved...

... To be continued.

Coolio, though one thing. Rozalind and Twain had met up.

In knew I was missing something!!
OK

I put up a post. It is a bit narrative hopefully to sum things up so we can move on to the next thing and get to the next chapter! ^_^
ā€œWhat a mess we have made.ā€

Rockin @Rockin Strings
Shannon @Arty Fox
Vaughtar@Fetzen
(and Zesiro and other agents)

In the mess-hall, a battle had broken out between agents. One of the newer recruits, part of a team called RIFT, had shown up shooting. He was dressed in a strange armor that seemed to possess him to destruction. He had nearly killed Zesiro, and was now wrestling with the gargoyle, Vaughtar. Shannon defended them from the other confused agents. Most fled the scene, but some stayed to help or bring order to the chaos. One agent used her power to protect the cracking window, the only thing between themselves and the open ocean. Two others trained their guns upon the wrestling beastsā€¦ Wondering who was friend and who was foe.

One put down his arms, lifting his hands to show Shannon that he meant no harm.

The other, perhaps more reckless or less trusting, fired her weapon at the other-worldly beast.

XIII@Konan375
(And Rozalind)

XIII and Rozalind were searching for answers. They had decided to break off and search for answers, find the saboteurā€¦. But XIII had just realized something importantā€¦

"Misdirection." He had said.

Rozalind had only one good eye now, so perhaps she didnā€™t see the deception as easily. She answered his questions, ignorant of their implications.
ā€œIt is Tristianā€™s magic that keeps the fleet together and keeps it concealed. I don't know much of it but I think there must be other means, contingencies, fail safes in case ofā€¦ emergenciesā€¦ā€

Herbert @JDH97
(and Dzel)

ā€œWe just need to find Tristian firstā€¦ā€

Herbert followed Dzel. She looked and sounded like herself, she was dressed like herself, butā€¦ She didnā€™t often carry guns, now she had nearly ten firearms wrapped around her person. She had given Herbert even more to carry.

ā€œHerbertā€¦ You might be very confused for a few moments, just stay by my side, trust in meā€¦ As you always haveā€¦ā€ The voice might sound different for a moment. Had Herbert ever noticed the red highlights in her hair? Were her green eyes always so dark as they seemed now?

Up ahead, there was a sound, fighting, something one should want to stay away from but Dzel drew near to it.

She drew a rifle, rounding the cornerā€¦ If Herbert followed he would seeā€¦

Wolfe @cpldingo
Natasha @Affili
(and Tristian)

Wolfe was struggling as a literal Wolf seemed to emerge from within him. He was being faced down now by Tristian, Natasha, and Dzelā€¦ This Dzel was acting more like herself. She held the Wolfe back with a green shield.

When Natasha spoke, the Wolfe seemed to hearā€¦ He shouted at them to run, but, they did not.

Tristian took the lead, using his power now. He twisted his wrists and cogs turned, opening pipes and letting in waterā€¦ But Tristian controlled this water with his mind. Streams of water wrapped around the Wolfe in a ring, like a basket, containing the beast.

Around the corner, another Dzel appeared. She bore guns, and one she had pointed towards the group. She fried, but not at the Wolfeā€¦

Tristan was hit at the base of his neck. His eyes widened with surprise, focusing on the Wolfe he did not see the other Dzel until now. He had time to set his eyes upon her, and when he did he knew, but he could not speak. He fell to his knees. The water around the Wolfe fell out of its neat circle, and into a useless puddle around the beast.

Dimitri @Affili
Charles @Arty Fox
(and Twain)

Necromancy lessons had been disrupted. Twain had an intuition. ā€œZesiro has been hit hard.ā€ He explained. ā€œI know because we have aā€¦ Connection we have. Judging from all these alarms he isnā€™t the only one in trouble.ā€ Twain had drank the sobering-drink, but it hadnā€™t quite set in yet.

They would hear the shots fired. Something shifted, a strange sound, something in the pipesā€¦ Water running the wrong wayā€¦

ā€œThaaatā€™s not good.ā€
