What's the worst thing about the Roleplayerguild and why is it the status bar?

I still want that Thor and Blur/Superman team up against anyone who deserves a good pounding.

Given Carol is at least, for the moment, essentially the beat stick of what will be an increasingly dubious element of the government I feel like they could end up fighting her at some point.

I do plan on her eventually breaking free of that situation but that could be a fun collab at some point if you both were game.
BTW @Ezekiel working on the next part of my post now, if I get it up first you can get straight to blasting chitauri.

Excellent, will probably wait for you to post so I can just tag on the set up I have already written at the start then dive right in.
This is the most dramatic RP I've been part of in a long time.

It's like 2014 again.

Maybe we can all start writing at 2014 speed.

AI was meant to be a tool, not as a replacement for artists. The issue with the ethics of what these AI are trained on (people SHOULD be compensated) and how we utilize it to make positive progress for society are other conversations, for sure. It needs to be regulated, but we as the working class cattle that we are, we cannot stop it. Technology moves forward no matter what, so the best we can do is how we engage with it.

Yeah, they certainly look unnerving. The way these generative prompts AI uses have improved scares me a little. Just compare it to the results a few years ago.

It's a real shame that the compounding impact of being a technology crypto bros are intereted in means you just keep recruiting crypto bros and everything gets worse.
Just to be clear, whataboutism as a logical fallacy is when its being used to discredit an argument or accusation (as in the definition you helpfully linked), as opposed to just suggesting we might avoid ganging up on someone in a comic book rp thread from a high horse.

Also the raw size of the meat and dairy industry it's water consumption should be higher.

But I feel like we're going down another rabbit hole that we should probably climb out of.

Quick say something related to comic books...

Sure, but there's 'higher' and 'higher by an order of one hundred thirteen thousand eight hundred seventy-five times.'

But after using my shovel to dig us deeper, I shall now actually comment on something related to the rp, and work on getting 'out' of this mess.

Anyone wanna provide feedback on my post or...?

I really enjoyed it, the style of nation rp posts via a mix of overall narrative and PoVs remind me of the glory days of Nation RP and so it hit me with the nostalgia bat a lot.

I am biased towards Genosha because it, along with Krakoa, are easily my fave Mutant storylines but I am very invested to the point it's definitely making me consider a mutant/mutant team for my second character. Your ground up approach to how we're perceiving this early political unrest is a great choice.

I have shrunk my traditional dairy use in the last few years by huge margins, I will say. I drink almond and rice milk (almond/soy/rice have their own problems don't get me wrong).

An achievement to be applauded. Generally I think meat and dairy reduction is the main way we save the planet.

My point was more it's not like AI is uniquely environmentally destructive an industry to garner the visceral reaction it often has from people who often 'pay into' much more destructive industries, as opposed to doing my own sort of value policing.
Fair, the creative / art theft response is personally compelling as well and I particularly agree finding art of a young robin wouldn't be difficult, however I also write ASOIAF RPs and George R R Martin publicly hates fanfiction/roleplay (other than his officially sanctioned MUSH) so I still feel I kinda fall into the 'I'm not sure we come at this from a perfect moral high ground' on this as well.
I am generally in the mindset of not using AI for posts and admittedly have been regularly jump scared by the AI children in the thread.

However I do find the dogpiling a little funny when I imagine everyone who is anti-ai for environmental co2/water use reasons here, is probably also not vegan (happy to be wrong on that one though). Of course no one is perfect on every issue, but that's a solid reason not to come at an issue with sanctimony, glass houses and all that.

Anyone else who is space-capable is also free to come hit some aliens.

Titus though...
