Much of her life has been spent simply doing what others have told her to do with little regard for her own thoughts on the matter. It was one thing when her papa asked her to help out. It was another when suddenly the girls she hung out with at school were telling her what to do, who to associate with, and what matched with what. Nicoletta has been a follower for as long as she could remember, which is already far too long.

It's rare to see Nicoletta without a smile. However, when Nicoletta smiles it never seems to be out of genuine joy, and she only ever appears to contribute to conversations amongst her supposed peers in the vaguest manner possible. She's one of the popular crowd in school by virtue of the most shallow reasons possible and she knows that but sees no reason why she can't take advantage of that while it lasts. She wants to just be herself, but that's become harder and harder as she isn't quite sure who she is or what she wants...only that she doesn't want to suffer more talk over who's hooking up with who.

To her credit, she has begun taking steps to breaking out of her meek shell, starting by speaking up more and trying to let her voice be heard among a group of people damn near deaf to anything other than their own inflated egos. The Soriano's, despite doing fairly well for themselves in their businesses, live in a ranch house with two bedroom and one bathroom. It's located in the center of a cul-de-sac and its front lawn, which is cut on the regular by Nicoletta, is often a hot spot for block parties such as the Fourth of July Block Bash. There's a basketball hoop hanging over the garage and local residents that live on the block are allowed and encouraged to shoot if they feel so inclined. Nicoletta's room is the bigger bedroom and is kept clean - though her shelves are a bit crowded with all the candle figures she's been collecting. There's only one car in the garage but there's room for a second, for when Nicoletta earns it. The Soriano house is brown in color.

Nicoletta was born in Italy to Marco Soriano and Fio Soriano. Their only child, Nicoletta enjoyed a rather uneventful youth, often being left to her own devices while her parents were busying themselves with their careers: Marco being a chef and Laura a would-be pastry chef. Nicoletta can't recall much of note from her youth in Italy; it was a fairly average and thus un-noteworthy childhood. Things took a turn when Nicoletta's uncle Stefano came to the house with a proposition for Marco.

Stefano had a failing business in America that he was willing to give full ownership over to Marco, knowing that Marco often dreamed of opening his own restaurant. And so at the age of twelve Nicoletta was moved from Italy to America. By the time she was fourteen and entering high school, Soriano's was one of Arrowsmith's newest restaurants, noted for the quality of its menu and its use of locally sourced ingredients to give it that 'home town' sort of vibe.

Her life has never really been hers, and she hates that. She hasn't really made a choice for herself - with her papa not-so-subtly informing her that she needs to get great grades and focus on a future business degree to take over the family business and her own sinking feeling that her quiet and awkward ways makes her an undesirable. She hates that she hasn't been able to speak up. She hates that she's on a path she was put on. But most of all she hates that she just grins and bears it.

She wants to find who she is, what she wants, and how to change as a person. Four years is a long enough time to do it.

Her hair, golden blonde, is often stringy and unkempt while her blue eyes are striking if only because of her heavy and dark eye shadow that stands out amidst her otherwise pale complexion. Cass controls a room with her voice when her actions don't do it for her, though most people just find her grating, gross, or annoying. Cass has little time for the people who can't keep up with her on some level though she holds the people that give her a chance in high regard. She's never going to be the one to apologize for her actions, but she'll also be the first one to volunteer to do something that could get people into trouble.

Cass has an undeniable charisma about her, the same way that a front man for a band would have and though the legality and morality of her ideas stretch the limits of acceptable, one can never deny that a time with Cass is never boring. Whether or not that's a good thing is up to the individual.

A question many have after meeting Cass is 'was she always like that?' And the answer might come as a surprise if ever there was anyone around to hear it. Cass, born Cassandra, Rowley comes from a well off family, the type of family that has wings of a hospital or building named after them after they die. The type of family that would live in a gated community and speaks ill about those that look different than they do, or as gated as it gets in a town of rural sorts. You know the type. Of course the price tag involved with Cassidy Rowley's services makes the Rowley family hardly liked, and Cass is doing them no favors. Cass bought into the lifestyle as a child, taking the piano lessons and being groomed to be a perfect little well mannered adult meant for bigger things than a podunk town chosen to raise a child in. It was around the end of middle school when Cass began to change. Her parents liked to blame some of her friends as a bad influence, but it was just a matter of Cass seeing her parents and realizing that she wanted to be anything but them.

Cass in middle school was a good student, friendly, playful, her bouncy, bushy brown hair was always messy from running around. But something changed on day one of high school. Cass Rowley was...different. She accomplished this by wearing clothes straight out of punk video and acting wild.

No one's sure if it's just a phase, but people that knew Cass in middle school know enough to realize she's changed over the course of a summer. There has to be a reason why. Cass sure isn't telling.

|| HOUSE DESCRIPTION ||

If there's a class divide in Arrowsmith, the Rowley's are on the right side of it. Casa de Cass is a rather nice house, two stories, room for growth, and serves as a reminder to people that the Rowley family are kind of smug assholes because of their well paying career choices. There's a garden out back that Cass uses and is the one thing she actually likes about the house, other than her room where her pets "The Dead Fishmen" reside. It's a two car garage and Cass eagerly wants to fill the second car slot.

|| BIOGRAPHY ||

A question many have after meeting Cass is 'was she always like that?' And the answer might come as a surprise if ever there was anyone around to hear it. Cass, born Cassandra, Rowley comes from a well off family, the type of family that has wings of a hospital or building named after them after they die. The type of family that would live in a gated community and speaks ill about those that look different than they do, or as gated as it gets in a town of rural sorts. You know the type. Of course the price tag involved with Cassidy Rowley's services makes the Rowley family hardly liked, and Cass is doing them no favors. Cass bought into the lifestyle as a child, taking the piano lessons and being groomed to be a perfect little well mannered adult meant for bigger things than a podunk town chosen to raise a child in. It was around the end of middle school when Cass began to change. Her parents liked to blame some of her friends as a bad influence, but it was just a matter of Cass seeing her parents and realizing that she wanted to be anything but them.

Cass in middle school was a good student, friendly, playful, her bouncy, bushy brown hair was always messy from running around. But something changed on day one of high school. Cass Rowley was...different. She accomplished this by wearing clothes straight out of punk video and acting wild.

No one's sure if it's just a phase, but people that knew Cass in middle school know enough to realize she's changed over the course of a summer. There has to be a reason why. Cass sure isn't telling.
