That moment you've got too many rp ideas floating in your head, but you don't want to overwhelm yourself? Yeah... I'm right there, suffering in silence.

RP hunting is like finding the rare toy in the cereal box. Doable, but the time and effort is nearly more than I can bare!

That amazing high when you realized how far you've come in improving your writing. It's impossible to describe, but drowns you in a positive glow.

I love being a terrible person by making my PCs' lives miserable, it's art form that never gets old or boring.

Fallen you wow me. These collabs gave me no idea that they are so large.
They can be, I suggest looking in some of the IC to get an idea of length. XD
Lucius and me suggested something that might help, I passed it onto Syn, so it's worth a try at least if anyone's game? Essence has massive collabs and those types of scenes take up a lot of time which might be part of the problem, so what if we break down large collabs? Like post up sections of a collab at a time? This has some natural positives to doing it this way. One it moves the IC and a scene at a nice pace, possibly keeping it from being nearly weeks before a new post is put in. In addition, you do not have to wait until a scene is completed to post. This enables the scene to go onward without making a long read, adding life to the IC. Another perk is that it allows other players outside of the scene to more naturally pop in rather then miss out on a chance to be included after it's over, possibly missing out on a change to be dragged into the mix of events related to that key scene. This also prevents Players from having to wait until the scene if fully done and say their PC leaves during the collab and can interact with others shortly after that section is posted, making it possible to jump from one collab to another between scenes occurring within the IC. Example: Say Olivia and Aeris were talking in Aeris's room, with the first section posted all Players are aware of an ongoing scene between those two PCs. Now Rtron could have Mary over hear, possibly Olivia and Aeris voices got louder, then started to earsdrop out of worry. That enable many different options from Yoshua's Mairyell walking in behind the little peeping tom to someone noting Mary's current actions, then over hearing Aeris and other voice (one they might know shouldn't be there) and likely knocking on the door to interrupt. This could end up drawing the other PCs into the action as it easily interrupts the scene and allows changes to be more fluid.
Ok, I'm going to have to drop out. Simply, the posts are too long and it makes reading it all a chore (and I don't always have the time, either) and everyone's all spaced out, without anything to really rally them together. Sandbox is cool, but when it's all spread out with minimal inter-character reactions, then... yeah. Been working on an app, but I've had a total writer's block since pretty much the first day. *shrug*
T-T I'm sorry, I didn't mean to get carried away! I didn't mean to scare Wilson away Ellri, honest, just enjoyed writing the post a bit too much was all!!!
This little piggy went to Crier's Market... Oink, oink.
Roan
Thump. Roan felt his paws hit the stone roof easily after his leap. The vibration and impact were absorbed through his thick soles as the rough skin aided his grip, giving him an advantage in his need to move. It wasn’t hard to regain his balance when he dropped to all four, ignoring the dizzy sensation within his head, feeling the firm ground underneath him. Testing the solidness, his arms stretched out and gripped the surface for a moment. His teeth bared when his torso rose, his rear legs coiled again propelling him forward in a gallop. Roan’s muscles stretched with the burn making him run faster. Each burst of speed was born of desperation and need, feeding his power where his belly failed. Faster...Faster… His instincts roared throughout his soul and body, his pace was steady for most the trip. Every so often his nose twitched causing to him to grin to a slower pace, then come to a complete stop. Sniff...sniff...sniff.. He inhaled deeper, his brain registered the air particles and fixed each smell an image, name or emotion. The latter set on how it made him feel. One direction had too many smells. Each one set off alarms in his head as his stomach felt nauseated from the mixture, having difficulty in picking each one out individually. His mental state had already started to break down from the multiple changes within the past hours. A sign of danger even on an instinctive state for him, something that helped determined his needs and goal. No good, too many people. That one bad too. Not good food, too earthy...too dangerous. Stay away, must away. That one, no. Something rotted, not fresh enough. Need fresh… meat. Not enough, but… Wait! Something had caught his attention. His head tilted upright, his nose quicken and inhaled deeper to seek the origins. A word, both familiar and foreign, snapped to his mind. Food! Again, he sniffed the air. Long and short, determining if the smell had a undesirable hint or was a figment of his imagination. His head cocked as realization washed over him. Ears continual rotated, seeking any sounds, monitoring his surroundings while keeping his brain aware. Food...is near? YES! The answer was enough to get his teeth coated with saliva again. The glops collected at the edge and dripped down slowly, staining his paws below him. Roan couldn’t wait because the animal inside of him knew he would starve as he had never been this hungry before. Never in the two weeks he traveled up those wretched ‘Claws’ or the days spent tracking down into the Othea forests, all filled with something fitting for his appetite. He was often over-gorged on fresh blood and meat. He was never hungry or needing to seek out food so shortly after he ate, not like now. He let out a small whimper when his middle clawed at him again, his voice silenced when the boarish sounds of hogs rose to his ears. The furry triangles rotated, shifting to center on the source as he stalked closer. Voices began, human and male from the sounds of it, growing louder the closer he came. Gingerly, his four limbs lowered and his head peering over the roof edge to spot the source. Below were the two men. One a few years senior compared to the other, his hands gesturing to a plump sow who stuffed her snout inches deep in her trough while ignoring the bickerment. Her teeth grinded the mixture of partly rotted vegetables, mud, and grain all mushed together into a glop without question and noisily hid Roan’s heavy breath. Roan growled in his throat at seeing her, his tongue licked his chops while his hands started down. He braced himself against the roof then slinked, quietly, onto the slanted covering over the pig pen. Strictly made for keeping the rain and snow off, the men failed to hear him as they edged inside to further argue price. “Shut up, Brutus! NOW!” Came the owner’s harsh reprimand at the dog, a large scrawny mutt jerking in fear at his rope attached to the pole. The loud sound caused Roan to retreat for only a bit, retracting just when the man looked up then frowned. Immediately he kicked a meager bone at the dog causing the animal to recoil from him. His tail between his legs and slinking back into the shoddy lean to which was the only shelter for it. The barter seemed to be going in ill favor, clear by the owner’s foul mood, as he gestured to head inside. Likely to be out of the sound of the whimpering and frantic animal, not renewing his jerking at his rope once more. If Roan could care to focus on the words anymore, he would’ve easily understood them and found himself confused by their meaning. Now the words were merely buzzing in the back of his head, forgotten in favor of his stomach. A whine, low and panicked caused Roan’s head to snap to the side. Brutus, the brown and white dappled mutt was now staring at him. The neck was nearly crushed by the tightening rope collar looped about and threatened to choke it, each time constricted more and more. Roan snarled. His teeth shown just before he lounged. Snap! “YIP!!!!!” The mutt took off like Roan had just nailed his ass. The thin, wiry and unfed frame disappeared in moments as he took off in the direction of the Kalesia Embassy. Likely to collapse on the gate front and far from the wild beast it had the misfortune to encounter. Roan snorted, 'Stay gone!', then turned to the alerted sow. Her piggy eyes stared at him, uncertain, until she felt Roan's teeth at her flesh. She let out a blood curling squeal only to be silenced when Roan’s fangs found her throat. When the two men rushed out, all they managed to spot was a large, grotesque wolf clambering up the roof. From his jaws was dead sow, her eyes glazed over and blood marred her pick white flesh just when the wolf vanished over the roof. Leaving the men terrified in his wake.
Alright. I'll get a post for her and Meirin up sometime later.
Cool, works for me and no hurries. ~♥~
Will post in the collab when I'm home Lucius. Sorry for the delay been busy with work and game clan stuff.
Liar! :p @ Ryonara, I will get around to the little details on Myrn, including damages, ects, when Khan addresses her. (Had to get the vines under control as I didn't expect her to be dragged in, lol) Namely the post was getting long and I wanted to break it up into two and that seemed like the best spot. >,<
Lyn
While her bear went at the man with claws and teeth, shredding the very flesh and spilling blood, she had been taking small steps back the whole time. Bit by bit, her feet came behind causing her suddenly feel a bump. It made Lyn jump with a start and turn her head. Her eyes widen when Alaira’s fist had came flying at her, the fingers curled and balled up, causing her to immediately react. Her body unfrozen after everything’s that happened while she let out a earsplitting scream of fright. Instantly, Lyn crouch down. She rushed her hands on her head top, rushing to protect her face and skull, while her knees bent and tried to avoid Alaira’s aim. Wood made a hollow thunk when it slammed into the cart causing it dent and rattle against the surface, certainly leaving Alaira’s fingers stinging and numb from the force behind it. Lyn curled into a tighter ball with fear digging into her core. It would fill Ssarak’s tabs on Lyn with sudden fear and panic, her mind screaming as loud as her lungs. Her scream small and meek compared to Alaira's next words. "S-stay back! K-keep away from me!" Alaira shouted causing the frighten child to flinch and shiver, her arms still fastened tightly to her head. When Alaira move, she couldn’t help her reaction. Instead of being calm enough to see her Aunt’s direction, the child just wanted to be gone and her feet stirred to do just that. Her bare soles slapped the concrete starting with one step then followed by another, her legs moving the pace faster. In moments, Alaira’s focus distracted and the others fighting for their lives, Lyn shifted around and made a mad dash for the opposite direction. Her hand had enough sense to tighten her grip on the dagger when she moved, ensuring not to lose it. Now she had nothing but the deep need to escape the chaos leading her away. The childish notion that running would be best. If she made it too far from her caretakers, she might very well be lost in the wilds of Djarkel. Or at least lost to those who would protect her. There was a reason few dare to venture within the wilderness without protection, bandits or no, after all.
Khan
Khan stepped in, his eyes drifted and caught Lucilia’s current fashion. In reality he shouldn’t have been surprised. Lucilia usually liked to impress students, putting on a good appearance as representative of the College and giving them some comfort, dressing in interesting formal clothing. Currently she was wearing a white, slender fitting dress with soft decorations and black tights underneath, vanishing into high heel leather boots. He inwardly flinched on seeing them from the corner of his sight. The things seemed like walking death traps, each step rather painful and torture to walk on. However, he suspected some of her concern wasn’t completely genuine. The feeling increased when words poured out of Lucilia’s mouth, sounding like honey tainted with serpent venom. His wings tightened closer to his body and his knuckles stayed fast on his cane, eyes closed when his head returned the formal bow. Her introduction began rather quickly with little time wasted. All the time he remained silent, studying her, as she went on with the normal greeting and ended in a question. “I merely came for a entrance form, Lucilia. I already have his name and mageblood.” Khan interrupted for a moment, his hand reached for the paper stack he knew held the correct forms. Inside he hoped she wouldn’t wonder about why he hadn’t went to his office instead. Namely as he barely touched the fresh stack from yesterday and right this moment, was locked safely in the drawer of his desk. In addition to his worry, he didn’t feel...comfortable about Lucilia’s subtle glare, one he knew well enough thanks to his years in Djarkel. The same she gave each of his demons, including Rathel, and it drew more concern from him. It was one of utter loathing hidden within her eyes. Any farther thoughts were interrupted by Rathel’s warning. Khan… the vines, someone’s in your office! "Shit!" Khan uttered abruptly, partly out loud and under his breath. Without thinking, he instantly rushed toward the exit. His hand came out and slammed Lucilia’s door back open, his pace much more rapid than was healthy for his limp as he moved to his office. His mind frantically driving his body beyond its limits. Rathel’s anger and fear mingled among Khan’s own, feeding it, while he summoned the demon in to his side. He barely notice when his shoulder clipped someone along the way, the sting when his flesh slammed into metal, and continued flying past Uicle. He barely realized his cane had slipped out of his grasp as he drove into the entrance, not even seeing the broken wooden splintered about, and roared. “Rathel!” In a moment, the Rune on Khan’s chest glowed and seared in pain causing Rathel to emerge. The demon erupted from a portal in seconds, landing with a hard click on the stone path, his black eyes looking distinctly cold. His magic reached into the vines and forced them to recoil, their few remaining tendrils pulled back into the stone it was intwine within. Several chucks had crumbled off and holes littered the interior, leaving the office in total shambles between the wood Elf’s hacking, the vines’ attack and Khan’s own orderly mess. Slowly, he edged deeper in. He didn’t bother picking up his cane and hide his pain from each step, the leg flared at the applied pressure. Khan had little time to speak before Rathel’s voice started causing the headmaster to whip his attention in the demon’s direction. “I told you, Khan. This shouldn’t have happened...”
It's a moot point though, because he also doesn't like Bandless.
My point is still valid! :P So HaH!
Hahahaaa! Cause Whoami's mean? :P Alright, we've posted yet we've stopped it a bit before Harvey's entrance and Kuro's interruption. I tried to work Kuro in, Terminal, but the Post was getting rather lengthy and though Helen might've noted him, she likely hasn't had many dealings with as he doesn't seem to be one that would take her services even if he needed it. So there was that to consider because she would know Alan and Eli due to treating them at least a few times over their missions and such. Add on: Not to mention...Echo pointed something out. Kuro doesn't like Rondell, summoners, or doctors... and sadly Helen is all three. She's so screwed when getting along with him.
