Weltraumflotte: Imperialism in Outer Space

Space 1889, one of the inspirations for this game

In 1885, delegates from the Great Powers gathered in Berlin for the purpose of carving up Africa among themselves. At the same time, massive black drills erupted from the earth around the world. These drills were hidden beneath the surface of the Earth by the Protogenoi, an apparently long-gone species of space-faring aliens. They contained technologies that humans had until then only dreamed of, such as space travel and terraforming. Within a century, the Great Powers had divided the stars between themselves, and established colonies across the galaxy.

It is now 2285, and to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the Berlin Conference and the beginning of man's journey into the stars, the Great Powers will send out a state-of-the-art warship to explore the galaxy. This ship, the United Earth Ship Intrepid, will be crewed by men and women drawn from all of the Great Powers and their colonies. This ship intends to boldly go among the stars, seek out new planets, gather knowledge, and further unity among the Powers. They may encounter pirates, rebels, and horrors beyond human comprehension, but it's sure to be jolly good fun!

Welcome to Weltraumflotte, a game that combines Victorian and Edwardian adventure with science fiction in the vein of Star Trek.
If you military RPs and adventure, this game might interest you. This is also a worldbuilding game, in which players will be encouraged to expand on the lore of the world.

DISCLAIMER: This game should not in any way be considered a defense or glorification of imperialism or colonialism.
Hi everyone, I'm in the mood to try my hand at running another game! Please let me know which of these two ideas you would like to see!

Weltraumflotte: The Great Powers In Outer Space

Space 1889, one of the inspirations for this game.

In 1885, the leaders of the world's Great Powers sat down in Berlin to carve up Africa. At the same time, numerous massive drills erupted in different places around the world, each of them containing technologies men had only dreamed of, such as space travel and terraforming. These drills were placed millions of years beneath the surface of the Earth by the Protogenoi, an apparently long-gone spacefaring species. Within a century, the Great Powers were not merely carving up Africa—they were carving up the stars themselves.

The year is 2285, and to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the Congress of Berlin, a new warship will be sent to explore the stars, crewed by men and women from all the various Great Powers and their colonies. You are one of the crew aboard the United Earth Ship Intrepid, and you will soon boldly go on a mission to increase Man's knowledge of the cosmos. Along the way you might encounter pirates, rebels, and horrors beyond human comprehension, but it's sure to be jolly good fun!

The basic premise of Weltraumflotte is "what if Earth discovered space travel at the height of imperialism?" As such, the game will focus on exploration, action, and adventure. This is a game in which the players are encouraged to contribute to the lore of the world.

Steel Crowns: A Dieselpunk Fantasy Game

Talera is a world much like Earth in the 1930s, but it is a world where technology and magic exist side by side. The United Kingdom of Brentar is a powerful nation with a large navy, but it is troubled, facing rebellion in its largest colony and economic downturn at home. There has been chaos in Parliament, with each successive Chancellor failing to establish a stable government. These are anxious times.

The royal house of Rowan is divided as well. Some favor a continued adherence to parliamentary democracy, while others seek the support of certain elements within the military who demand decisive action. The Brentarian nobility, military, and the industrialists are quietly beginning to take sides as well, and soon you—a member of the royal family or the high nobility—must make your allegiance known as well.

This game is based on the 1995 film Richard III, which transposes the setting from the 1480s to the 1930s. Instead of Earth, this is a fantasy world, like Middle Earth, but one where time has passed, and technology has advanced. This game will largely be concerned with political intrigue and family dynamics. This will also be a worldbuilding game, in which players will be encouraged to further develop the world of Talera.

Neither of these games will utilize tabletop or dice mechanics.
At this point, I'm considering cancelling this game, as I'm feeling quite frustrated with this.

Abandoned Dockyards - South Island

Interactions: Robin - @KaliW

Cassandra Cain watched and listened, taking in everything she could, atop a building, looking down at the Penguin’s warehouse...

From the inside of the warehouse, there came a hissing sound. Through the greasy windows, a purple cloud was expanding through the building, and shouts of surprise from the few workers inside. The Sea Fox and her gang were using some kind of gas to take them out.
I don’t want to, but I don’t wanna fake it either. I’ll see if I can rebuild it by monday.

Edit: Yeah. It’s not in the cards for me, appreciate the consideration.

I understand, thank you for your interest.

Nightwing is now open to anyone who wants to RP him. I am still waiting on replies.
I’m not gonna lie I kinda lost momentum for this.

I'm sorry to hear that, but I understand. Are you definitely dropping out?
Does anyone need some help making their posts or clarification on anything?
I forgot to mention: the Sea Fox (https://dc.fandom.com/wiki/Sea-Fox_(Earth-One)) was a Silver Age villain who faced Batman and Robin:

I've made the character female in this universe:

Just imagine this, but in a purple SCUBA suit with a wolf's head symbol, and there you go.
Okay, here it is. Hopefully it's all fine. I wasn't sure the level of tech since it's 50s era and all so if its higher tech than I assumed then I'll change it from radio to whatever accordingly

Very nice, your character submission is APPROVED.
Sorry I've not been around, been busier than expected, I fully intend on getting my sheet up by Monday at the latest

Don't worry, just post it when you have time and make your first IC post once it's approved.
