❝Welcome to Paragon Academy. Here you can make yourself at home and see who you're sharing your dorm with, just don't fight or cause a scene. Do not forget to pick up your schedule from the main office and sign up for certain clubs. If you're the child of a hero then please, have fun while you are here but if you're the child of a villain, tough luck because you're now stuck here. Otherwise, enjoy your stay. Again, have fun and stay awhile.❞
- Tony Stark, Ironman.

It was seven years ago whenever the heroes of our universe, more importantly, The Avengers and The Justice League, banded together and founded an academy, known as Paragon Academy, for the next generation of superheroes. This academy is designed to be a safe haven for the children of superheroes and a place where they can be protected and taught to become heroes just like their parents before them. But things have changed because three years ago, children of villains were also able to attend Paragon under super and extra supervision but they weren't just let in. It also wasn't so they could cause trouble or have done anything wrong, no. It was so that they could be the ones to pay for their parent's crimes, which they were ultimately forced to do. Most have tried to escape or don't want to be there but others want to be slightly better villains than their own parents. Speaking of their parents, they were also allowed to work at the school or work in the city but it was only to be condemned for their own crimes against the universe.

Paragon Academy is a grad school university for the children of DC and Marvel heroes and villains, even anti-heroes or whatever else falls underneath other categories. It is just like any other four-year college but for heroes and villains over the years and even offer certain degrees for post-graduates such as medical, certification courses and law degrees. The school's layout looks like any other school but there's a different dorm building for the postgraduates and even the faculty have their own dorms.

The campus also has multiple cafeterias, a pool, a ballroom that is usually used for dances and fundraisers and even a bookstore but just know that the campus is gigantic and you can easily get lost. There is a danger room, for the mutants and a training facility for just about anyone and everyone but there are also a plethora of labs, too. The academy is located in upstate New York but it is away from the city and surrounded by nothing but woods. It may be surrounded by woods and away from the city along with a supposedly safe haven but it has been attacked already on multiple occasions. It is also an hour or so away from the Canadian border by car.

Also, just like any other school, Paragon does have a few set rules such as no illegal activities whatsoever, the curfew is at 12 A.M. and absolutely no harm to be done between the students but no one really listens to or follows the rules anyway.

Note; Only one descendant per superhero or villain parent. Your character don't have to have two parents that are superheroes or villains, the other parent can be someone normal. All powers and abilities are inherited from the dominant parent. Your character cannot develop newfound abilities that their parent or parents did not already possess.

OOC Information
So, it'd be preferred if you only use Marvel or DC characters as your character's heritage. Anything else and I'm afraid that I will not accept it. Keep your characters ages between 20-30 because I want them to have full control over their abilities without needing to be trained. Plus, I do not want this to be filled with stereotypical teenagers. Let it also be known that your character does not have to stay a hero or villain throughout the roleplay. Events will happen that might cause their original morals to alter. This roleplay also will be plot-driven along with character-driven.

Rules
❖ First and foremost, follow the RPG's guidelines
❖ Please be respectful to everyone, whether it's in the OOC or in the Discord. Basically, don't be a dick or an ass
❖ Do not god-mod, auto-hit or metagame. Also, do not kill a character without proper discussion or permission of the other writer
❖ Try to keep the gender ratio even and try to hold much diversity as possible
❖ I'd like it to keep the writing level between casual to low advanced, meaning no one-liners
❖ Use real face claims only. No realistic drawn or anime
❖ Keep everything PG-14. Romance is encouraged but anything over making out, fade to black or continue in a pm
❖ Character Skeleton is in the Character Tab along with a character list
❖ Accepted characters are only to be placed in the Character Tab
Interested.

EDIT - Was thinking maybe a 'child' of Amazo with similar abilities.

Or perhaps an illegitimate child of Norman Osborn. Or maybe a clone raised as a child by Miles Warren/the Jackal.

Be sure to let me know whenever you decide.

DISCORD. When you come forth into the discord, please state who you are so that I can change your nickname, if it's different from your username. Or just let me know what you'd like to be referred to as.

Also, I am still looking for two Co-GMs for this, so don't hesitate to let me know if you're interested. :)

<Snipped quote by Flower>

When's the ooc coming?

Coming soon. :)

@FlowerDo you plan on having a discord?

Yes. I was meaning to ask that question earlier because, on other sites, group games do have one. I shall get to constructing one for us. :)
Would it be at all possible to have a kid that's less a daughter and more of a ward? Kinda like Robin, but for Aquaman?

I'd prefer them to be the child of said superhero or villain.
@FlowerGreat, we'll proceed with our plan then! Is there going to be a cap on character count? I have a couple of ideas and I want to know how many I should put time into.

Sounds great!

I'll probably make the cap three, if you can handle that many, of course. Don't overwhelm yourself though.

I say three because I might be writing three characters. Just trying to see which villainous character(s) I would like to use.

@Flower is the child of Deadpool/wade Wilson available?

No one has particularly expressed interest in the role, so I'd say yes.
@Flower Hey, @Fabricant451 and I were wondering if it's okay if we do siblings? We were looking at doing Captain Marvel and Thor children.

If it fits within the story of your characters, go for it! Most of these characters will be related in some way, shape or fashion anyway.

Is it too late to say that I'm interested?

Of course not. :)

@Flower Quick question. Only Marvel and DC heros and villains?

I was thinking about something a little more off the beaten path...

I.e. Son of Bakugo from my hero academia?

It's totally fine if I can't play them.

I'm more than happy to play the next Stark :)

Yes, only Marvel and DC heroes and villains. Nothing else will work here, I'm afraid.

The next Stark sounds fine to me.
I hope to have an OOC up soon, tomorrow perhaps if I am not called into work but I am so excited about this and thank you all for the interest. ^•^
Greetings and salutations! First, I love your username and there's absolutely no reason to be nervous at all.
