It feels to me that to make Magic Items you'd need a hold of both Crafting and Magic as domains. Take the portfolio if you want, I don't have any plans to create magic items. Domains and Portfolios have become increasingly abstract and nonlimitative lately anyway, so I doubt it matters much.

Since when RPG becomes a rotting cauldron to brew narcissistic assholes trying to terrorize people and start this retarded trend?
I have a feeling it's always been like this, but I've only recently come to this realization.
I was pretty sure that collab was doomed to become a black hole. Congratulations on finally finishing it.
Now talking about the gifts, I don't care. Everyone here has had to work hard to balance their RPing with real life and I don't see the point in rewarding someone for sticking with their hobbies. Being clear of that messy collab should be enough of a reward by itself.
If you feel it's necessary, then sure, why not. Just find an acceptable reason IC why they would receive such a gift and I'll be fine with it.

Imagine a staff that shoots lighting. Now imagine a gun that shoots electricity arcs.
Imagine a fireball. Now imagine a rocket launcher that launches incendiary rockets.
In the case of Astartian Magic, you could just look at genetic engineering, exo-skeleton suits or plain old cybernetics
Are we looking at an eventual obsolete-ification(???) of magic here? Because if so, that would be an awesome challenge for Astarte.
