@SleepingSilence It seems our long standing feud has finally settled. We have managed to not irritate each other for a while, and also I forgot to give you props on the Jeff Holiday videos and calling molynuex out for being a slap-head cult leading wacko.

Merely peeking in to see the discussions and I saw a lot of strawman walking on by, so I clearly missed nothing.@SleepingSilence

But can I ask as politely as possible to just leave comments like this at the door, I'm not entirely sure how you meant it, but it seems a little passive aggressive to everyone in the thread in general. It just sets whatever convo/debate you are about to have on a slightly sour note, other than that, please carry on.

I've been surviving for 48 hours, I probably only slept for 6 of them. As horrible as this situation is, I've come to be impressed with my own will to live. My wife was killed by looters, my co-workers were all eaten alive in front of me, all means of transport have been stripped, looted and made unusable. I've been bitten twice, and I've only taken one shot of ZC, so I have no idea how long I have left.

The cops have either all fled or been killed in that big explosion outside in the station, I heard it was some arsonists from the county jail, but with the chaos that's gripped this town it could have been anyone. Maybe there are a couple survivors, but I'm in no shape to help anyone, let alone investigate. My boss tried to get his car repaired at Mike's garage but apparently they mistook him for a looter and shot him in the face. No way I'm going to take that risk. And lastly, the pharmacy on the main street have barricaded themselves in, not that I blame them, people would be smashing down the doors in droves if they thought they could get any medicine or first aid. 

But none of this matters to me right now, I was shot trying to hotwire a car, a working car to hit the bridge out of town, and find the nearest base like the radio told us too. Now I'm bleeding out on the side of the road, its only a matter of time before the infected smell my wound and hunt me down. I'm too tired to run, to tired to survive, I just hope I don't stay alive long enough for them to.....devour me.....

I will be diving into the tried and true world of Zombie Survival, the premise is ridiculously simple, you are in a generic American town that has been hit by a zombie outbreak and you are 72 hours into the chaos, the objective is to find transport out of the city to the nearest military base, where you hope there will be safety.

Here is how I plan to make it interesting

-You will not all be one group. I hope to have about 7 players in total. 2 will be Cops at the police station, 3 will be mechanics at the local garage and 2 will be chemists at the local pharmacy. (I may add one more group location, like a politicians office or a county jail)

-There is actually a known cure, lets call it ZC. The Zombie outbreak has actually already happened in South America a few months ago, but it was covered up. But some samples did make it to the U.S. and it works. The supply is obviously limited and the reversal of the virus can take time and a toll on the victim.

-Almost all vehicles have been scavenged, stolen or destroyed, so finding any means of transport will be insanely difficult.

-You can and probably will die in this RP, but you will not be removed from playing, as you have an 'extra life' in the form of a randomly created backup character who will enter the story as soon as your first one dies. Although you will have control over the characters cosmetic details, I will be picking the skills and equipment.

-The Structure of the RP is more linear than usual, and will follow a CYA (Choose Your Adventure) style narrative, at the end of all of the GMs paragraphs there will be a number of options that your group can choose from. Now that doesn't mean that your writing has no effect on the outcome. If I give you the option to Attack someone, its up to you weather you use a crowbar or shotgun to do it. Also details in how you attempt an option may directly impact the failure or success of a choice (running across a room instead of walking may make more noise etc).

Character Groups

Mid-Town is your average mid-western American town and you will be playing as character from 3 groups who are a distance away from each other, but may find the means to meet up later.

The 3 groups are:

The Midtown Police Department (1/2)
Two Rookie Cops were knocked out by the explosion at the police station a couple hours into the outbreak, on the office floor. They are just waking up now, and the station seems pretty empty. The are both armed with a 9mm Pistol (15 rounds each), a tear gas grenade and a nightstick, they are slightly wounded from the explosion but nothing too major.

Mike's Garage (0/3)
Old Man Mike Baker has run his garage in Mid-Town since the 70s, sadly, he was one of the first to be bitten. With no ZC available, the best he could do was guard the garage until he eventually turned, he didn't want to die not being useful. Sadly, the infection started taking effect even before he was able to turn, within a few hours he was delirious and paranoid not only shooting zombies but anyone who came too close. He even shot an office manager in the face who wanted his car fixed. After realising this he turned his shotgun on himself and finished it. His 3 apprentice mechanics are still inside the garage. There is no vehicles ready to use apart from a Scooter with little gas and a bunch of tools, they are all in fine condition.

Main Street Pharmacy (1/2)
Unfortunately for the chemists at MSP, their boss decided to take his chances by taking as much of the pharma stock as possible and running off with it. Probably hoping to barter for a car. He was not seen again. Although the place was basically empty, they chemists had no choice but to barricade the shop and wait for their boss to come back. But its been 49 hours, and its looking like he may be dead. They only have one first aid box but also have one shot of ZC. They are not injured but haven't eaten much in two days and are feeling a little weak.

Before you make your character you must ask to reserve a spot as one of the group, it is first come, first serve.
