Yeah its a starterpack for people who think africans have contributed nothing, or rather peoople who use that sentence in an argument.

Andy, i dont think anyone is saying that cleopatra wasnt at least mostly greek, I think the starterpack is highlighting that people who call their own women 'bedwenches' and play crusdaer kings as a power fantasy are the type of guys to never shut up about it.

And its not just caucasions who create/consume blacked but specifically insecure right-wing men with racist inferiority complexes. If all the pseudo-science you read tells you that africans are physically more manly than you in damm near everyway, its bound to have an effect on at least a few of you.

Sky Warrior Stories: The New York 5 (closed)

I think a closing statement is needed here, out of respect for the time and energy put into this RP.

I make a lot of RPs, mostly for the sake of creativity and pushing myself to be a better story teller. But sky warriors represents something a lot more. I can hinestly say with no issue that this is easily my favourite creative work so far in terms of a fictional universe which is of course heavily thanks to the colourful and rich characters you have all brought to it. I usually have the philosophy that RPs should be fun for the sake of fun, but this particular story carried a message which was quite important to me.

I spend plenty of time being political in off topic, and I like to keep my storytelling seperate, but in this one universe there was a theme of unity, the fact that different people from all over the world could cross cultural and natioonalistic barriers and come together for a common cause and fly as real team. Also showing the arbitrary tribalism of the warring factions and state empires and how easily the can be built and broken.

So I have to say when it comes to this story, something like overt racism expressed by and RPer really hits me hard and upsets me, which is why the decision had to be made to discontinue the RP as I feel that even Out of Character it causes a pphilosophical issue that I cant just overlook in the way i would if it was a different RP.

Once again many thanks to you all for being patient with me and I hope to RP with you all sometime again.
