So I just posted the small intro to set the stage, but when you all do your opening posts, it will be during school time at lunch break. All of you already have your Mythic Rings and decks, with the innate ability on how to use them in battle, even if your character hasn't consciously acknowledged it, they have some sense of the Battlemage inside of their psyche.

You are free to challenge each other to battles, but I'll be giving the plot direction with my posts, and let you know when its 'story scenario/mission time' If you feel like posting before I do go ahead. Just let me know of all battles taking place so I can make the right arrangements.

The City Center was bursting with energy as always, the large scree at the town square was showing the seasonal Dash-Ball play offs, the local Comic Stores were hosting games of Daggers and Goblins, and spinning top enthusiasts were racing to buy limited edition GraveBlades. The people were excited and happy, but of course, the corporations of entertainment were even more happy. In one of the high rise buildings a tall and brooding man stood before a panel of older men in suits.

The tall man spoke up, his voice was deep and guttural.

I agreed to do this because I was in a desperate situation, I thought this was just for reasearch, why do you insist on pushing your luck with such dangerous artifacts?

The men in suits turned to each other an chuckled before responding in a condescending tone.

From where I'm sitting, you're still in a desperate position, and what did you think the research was for? We want to give that talent of yours to the entire world, it would be selfish for you to hang on to it all by yourself. Now enough complaining, the other conduit stone traces seem to be near that school. Find all of them and try and be discreet, they are only children after all.

Got some questions.

First, can you give me a more clear picture of how battles will happen? The rules we have now are really vague and don't really explain how the game is played, or even how we know what cards are currently available (if not everything at once).

Second, because of the 14-18 range I don't think everyone would be in the same year. Characters like Kyogi and Akira would be upperclassmen to Saito and Yamada, yeah?

Third, once taken the profile of your battlemage, does the player adapt some of their mannerisms or speaking patters?

1. Battles basically take place the way Forum based Arena combat is resolved (you declare attacks but don't auto hit, only do maneuvers which are realistic in the context of the situation and your character's abilities). But because this has cards involved, you can use up to 4 cards per 'turn' (post) and then your opponent does the same in the response. Then the judge of the match (me) decides how much damage each attack does if they hit, and how the damage is resolved.

With weapon and transform cards its fairly straight forward you announce which card you are using and how you are going to attack with it e.g. 'Kenji strikes overhead with an Arcane Longsword, and then fires at the enemy patrol hound with a standard cross bow, afterwards running to his tomb caster, to defend it with an Ice Shield from the Kunai'

But with support cards you summon the monster and you can attempt to give it orders but depending on the monster it may or may not carry out your orders exactly as you gave them, this largely depends on the support monster's 'skill' some are also to aggressive or stupid to understand complex orders, (dont expect a zombie to know how to riposte).

After both players have announced their cards and actions, I will post to announce what hit, and how much damage was received or given and which cards are still active 'alive' on the on the field.

2. Yes they are in different classes.

3. Your battlemage doesn't speak, any dialouge in battle is spoken by your character and the other player can communicate via psychic link while the battlemages and cards do battle. However when a battlemage is attacked, he or she will feel pain although they will be unharmed.

I quite like the gender cross and so do you, dont lie.

As far as the battlemage profiles, I have Mages pre-assigned to each colour, so it just happened Cyan was a holy knight character but he already asked for a zombie deck, so thats how the chips fell this time. I think it creates an interesting contrast though.

I dont know about borders, (considering they didn't have a central government) but meaningful immigration as in, don't invite so many of your people here, give us all smallpox and start killing and torturing people who don't convert to Christianity, dont go around looking for gold that isnt here and killing local tribes when you cant find it, yeah the immigration could have been a tad more meaningful.

But yeah, the Nazis were a lot of things, most notably, genocidal, hateful and violent.
