Also, I was kind of hoping if the Yakuza could kind of be fighting with the Triads in a Chinese Gang V. Japanese Organized Crime kind of thing in Little Asia for control, but as well as the Yakuza trying to expand to other parts of the city as well secretly.

Okay cool I think I can approve your character now, I'll let you know if I want any more edits down the line, and yes was planning to add Yakuza & Triads to the known mobs let me know if you have ideas for names and logos for the said gangs and I'll work it into the lore.

Cool, I'll work on this when I can. (I figured a lot of this would need to be balanced down, so I get that. Since he was a character rolled in a previous game with some pretty absurd powers (And his weakness was terrible charisma. Ha.) So it's a bit of a figuring out process.

Not sure about the need for a civilian identity, because I'm planning a kind of immigrant story with him, and allowing him to disguise himself easily can make some of that seem well... Weird. I'll come up with something.

So I want to give them electricity powers but I'm worried that in and of itself is too overpowered, looking at it now on the powerlisting site it seems to grant access to some pretty bullshit stuff.

Can I pick and choose which applications she gets, trying to keep this from being too overpowered.

@Stern Algorithm No its fine, I asked him to tone his down because there were comparisons made to earths most powerful supercomputer and it was combination with his other very powerful abilities. Tony Stark level ingenuity is nowhere near that, and along with the rest of your character it makes sense.

SuperPower Rules And Guidelines

Just as a little guide for anyone who needs it, these are the things to keep in mind when creating a superpower set.

1) These characters are not justice league level. No literal gods, No Magic. Aliens are fine, mutated 'monsters' are okay. When trying to gauge your power level think somewhere around Marvel 'Street Level' heroes and non Omega level X-men.

Also look at the rouges gallery, if you think your character could probably beat them without trying very hard then they are too OP my dude.

2) If you're going to have multiple powers they should compliment each other. Being super strong and super durable makes sense. Being super agile and having super spatial awareness makes sense. Being able to summon comets and also talk to elephants doesn't make sense. And if you are going to insist on a very strong power you will need some VERY significant weaknesses to balance it out, you want to think to yourself 'what's a way that relatively non powerful opponent would have a chance against me?'

3) Think of the character first and the powers afterwards. Your character is person in Maximum city with a life, a job and mostly regular interactions on a daily basis, you are not a super hero 24/7. You are also not a hardened war veteran (unless that is your specific background). You will also have insecurites and mental hangups about what you do. Don't expect to be supernaturally brave in every situation and be able to always think rationally under extreme stress. You are a person underneath the cape.

4) Try and keep powers fairly simple, the need to stand out is understandable but its how you use your powers that makes you interesting. Having something like plant based powers may seem mundane, but maybe if you use them to give yourself a coat of wooden armor and weapons, it suddenly becomes interesting! Don't be using powers that will have you spending more time describing how they work as apposed to what you are trying to achieve.

EDIT: Okay so now I've given him a look over and there are 2 things

1) He needs a civilian identity, and a regular job. Maybe it can be like Martian Manhunter where he has some sort of cloaking device or transforming disguise but he needs to be able to appear human on a day to day basis and only turn into his true form when needed.

2) He's very OP.
Bulletproof is okay but overall he is too durable, basically anyone who doesn't use 'magnets' cant even touch him. You also need to be more descriptive on what 'weapons' he can transform himself to use. It should be limited number of clearly stated attacks and abilities not an endless possibility of 'adaptation'. Also scrap adaptation altogether, its too vague, have some clearly stated reactive (and limited) transformations for specific situations.

There is no Magic in this RP so his weakness to it is pointless.

His multi-directional defense flaw is offset by his ridiculous durability.

The other weaknesses are fine, but you'll need at least 2 more significant ones to replace these two.

Tone down the superior intellect, supercomputer smarts are a power all on their own.

Tone down the destructive power of the weaponry.

And obviously tone down the durability a LOT.

I'll add Miles Melendez to the overall lore of the City, if you can let me know how he made his fortune we can add his company or his industry as one of the locations in North Maximum.
