@Gisk just came up with this question last night, but if Sam physicly leeches James to for example grow cat ears, are they permanent even when Sam stops leeching James and does he need to leech James again to get rid of them or do they instantly dissapear after release?

That's a question I never thought of, actually. But, in the most technical sense, he does not have the power to shift his shape when he is not touching James, so they would be "permanent," and he would need to borrow his power again to get rid of them.

But, also important, when you borrow his power, you don't borrow his genetic "library," and would need to consume things to pick up new forms and traits.

@Gisk How will Nightmare's character's power affect my character? I mean say for example he touches my character when she's feeling an emotion that would amplify her strength, will his character leech on the strength and make Kassidy become weaker?

Sorry, playing posting tag with you guys here.

He's taking energy, not strength. So a good analogue for this would be the same power applied to either a scrawny dude or a power lifter. They could both be really winded, but the power lifter is still gonna be a lot stronger.

Well if her power would act up for her heart racing for one reason, it would have to for another.

But we'll just leave it as already described. Based on her wake/sleep cycles instead.

@Gisk You said that Maren's is effected by basically awake/cardio. Would her flames act up if something got her heart racing for one reason or another? Or only during the day and at night it doesn't really have an effect?

Well, she doesn't not have powers at night, it's just that her own body heat is at its lowest. But it doesn't actually go back to normal unless she's asleep.


But yeah, let's say it's also attached to her heart rate. I hadn't originally meant for it to be like that, but I think it works well.

So basicly my character is a Rogue with an area ability... LOVE IT! Will be very hard for him to go through with all his 'the people close to him slowly die at the cost of him', but that makes me even love it more!

Questions though: 1 say Sam wants to leech Ellion's character through physical contact, but she is very hot (literally ofcourse), can he leech her without burning himself? (like by leeching her fireproof skin and such as well?)
Question 2: can he physicly leech through his clothes or must it be skin to skin?

Askin the real questions here! Love it, because I've actually already thought about how your powers interact with each other.

So, the area effect isn't really that strong, unless he consciously amps it up. It's more like, a party that he's at would die down around midnight instead of going all night, but they could always drink some coffee(or do some coke) to get back into it. The more people there are, the less each person has leeched from them.

1) There would be a moment between touching and getting powers where he didn't have her heat resistance yet, so he'd get burned initially but then he would stop burning.

2) Skin to skin.

So yeah, I think you all can post openers(even start interacting if you like). I usually like to post first, but I'm going into DC today, so I don't want to keep you guys waiting while you're excited to get started.

The setting is basically 9PM, early summer, when The Lights™ return. You'll feel light headed for a second, and then your powers are active.
