You should look at my new account, I think.

I believe in a more open type of roleplay where the roleplayer has just about as much input as the GM,

An earnest concept, but you need to have a real close-knit group that you can trust to make it even somewhat work. Doing this with a blind group always, in my experience, turns into disaster.
I believe so, yes. Ignoring the incomprehensible conversation about music (of which I have spent too long studying, debating, writing about, and analyzing) – I personally think there is quality to measure. A measurement that is weighed by:
  • Quality of English language— grammar, spelling, tense consistency.
  • Quality of narration— pacing, enough detail for introspection and characterization.
  • Subjective enjoyment of ideas presented and executed.
  • Fun/Entertainment factor.

when did this become Bitchfest?

Since the first version of the thread.

People who roleplay more than 5-6 characters piss me off a little, for some really odd reason. I don't know what it is, but when someone makes that many characters, it just . . .

If there is no character limitation and I can keep consistently (and actively) coming up with new ideas I’m going to do it. I’m not going to let anyone curb my dedication and interest because they have apprehension towards it. If they don’t like it, don’t RP with me. End of story.

Oh, and don't get me started with the smol pupper children that suddenly drop the RP without a fucking word as to why, even when they're active on other threads.

How about people who expect you to remind them to post and are so dependent on complacency that they have to be mentioned. No dude, I’m not going to tell you to post— it’s your responsibility to have that much dedication and courtesy towards your fellow players to read and post on your own time. Don’t be lazy.

It probably depends. If you are going to flesh them out as people, I would. However if they are merely blank NPCs that are there for your main characters development, they probably don't need a CS.

Thats why Thomas and Philip don't have any surnames. Theyre just mechanics to add a voice for Tahlia to talk to and generate a feeling of multiple people on the base.

For now.
@gowi: Looks good so far.

You sure do like leaving folks in suspense.
Bah, even you don;t read the rules. :P

That's where you guys are listed. :K

Or y’know you could use the built-in feature to add GM’s so it is easier to see and utilize.
Well, in addition to the new rule with players needing to have the responsibility / initiative to keep up with the RP and know when to post themselves I would prefer people be interactive to the point that they are not “lost” to the flood of posts that could happen at any moment— players need to at least post weekly at the bare minimum and take it upon themselves to engage themselves with other players.

As for additional characters, it’s pretty much the same minus the NC parts. I will be more lenient on bios not being too developed, but there needs to enough to have a point of reference from. Before I became a big old GM for NCQ Katarina Poux was a side character I made, so she serves as a poignant example.

Also being active in the chatzy is probably a big plus.
Git goin' or git gud.

Diana Prince had been more than willing to slam her fist into the God of Thunder’s jaw to make a point considering how the arrogant fool had presumed it was acceptable to block her justice, and the justice of the innocent people that she stood for. She may not have been the icon that represented the City of Tomorrow but she was one of fair justice and not just in Gateway City but the world and the people Corben had endangered were definitely the children of the world. Diana crossed her arms as the words were spoken, her expression turning cold. Realizing his folly, Superman stepped forward to neutralize the conflict that was near to a breaking point and while Diana was unhappy with the action she made no ill reaction towards it.

"It might go against my better instincts but... I'm going to trust you with Corben's wellbeing. I'm going to trust that should I visit Luthor's Watchtower I'll find Corben in good condition, able to account for his actions this day, and entirely unharmed. I'm going to trust that you won't mistreat him or that he won't somehow disappear between now and then. If you're half the man the legends say you are, Thor, you'll see to it that your League is true to its name and Corben sees justice."

Diana fumed as Superman spoke his words to Thor.

Evidently it was not only Thor who was blocking her justice, but also Superman himself. Diana couldn’t understand why he could find it acceptable to “trust” Thor with such a responsibility, especially when he knew the powers of the Lasso of Truth could easily drag it out of Corben fast enough that both parties could sufficiently be appeased with the conclusion. It would’ve wasted little time bringing the truth out of the irradiated metallic man’s lips… but that action had been put out of her hands. Why? Why had it been taken out of her hands?

"And if he doesn't? If some timely accident were to befall Corben that left him incapable of answering for his crimes or were he to suddenly disappear from the face of the Earth without explanation, I want you to know that I would hold you personally accountable."

Diana’s anger settled a little on Superman’s words as well as his tone. But she still had questions for her friend on why it was necessary. Her eyes moved to Thor, who looked as displeased as she felt and perhaps even… insulted?

"I take thy meaning, now take mine. Thy conduct toward the Justice League has been most unbecoming, if thy purpose is to aid those in need, as it appears, thy mistrust of my compatriots can only foster the same in those we seek to protect. For all our differences, I wish thee well."

And then Thor was gone and Diana turned her eyes to her friend.

“I would hope you have sense to explain why those actions and words were wise.”

Diana took a heavy breath as she reached down on the nearby street to pick up her shield before returning it to her back.

“Help me understand why it was what we needed to do, because I am at wit's end here. We could have easily allowed Thor to take Corben after we made him speak. You know of the lasso, you’ve seen it in action. But… you let Thor leave with no answers leaving Corben’s lips. Why?”
