Ooo....I should have clarified something. ^^"

My intention was to have the Player Characters be the Human Investigators. ^^"

Sorry for the confusion.
I've managed to get my hands on a complete set of the rules for Candela, as well as fillable character sheets for each character. I've also got a mascot horror style character for Urban Shadows tucked away somewhere. Once you've settled on a system, let me know which one it is and I'll have a character ready shortly thereafter.

Ooh! Thank you!

I looked over Urban Shadows, and I don't think that would fit after thinking things over. However, it is a Powered by the Apocalypse game like Epyllion and after checking the other PbtA games, I found that Monster of the Week would also fit with what I have in mind for this game. ^_^

Here are the Archetypes for Monster of the Week: evilhat.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/0…
And thank you for linking the Candela Obscura rules. This shall be most helpful. Allow me to return the favor my linking the rules to Urban Shadows.

Thank you very much! XD
This will surely help improve the park.

I also have the six pregenerated character sheets for Candela Obscura ready for ease of play, just in case. ^_^ All that would be needed is details about the character themselves, while the mechanics are taken care of.
I'm down for this, if you would have me.

In regards to the system... D&D and modern settings have never really mixed all that well in my experience. And I've never played Candela Obscura before, so I would be unable to weigh in on that front. If I were to run a story such as the one you have laid out, Urban Shadows would be the system I would turn to.

Of course I'll have you!

I was able to watch Candela Obscura and how it was played on Critical Role, but this would be my first time running it. ^^" But it is essentially a different version of Call of Cthulhu.
I have the Quickstart Guide, and I'm considering getting the actual rule book for myself soon.

The Quickstart Guide's rules/mechanics were posted in Roll20! I'll post the link here just in case: roll20.net/compendium/candela/The Mec…

I'll have to look up Urban Shadows and see how that works, because I'm not as familiar with it. ^^" Thank you for letting me know. XD

So...I just learned about Indigo Park. After seeing the ad for Chapter 2 and then watching Chapter 1, I kind of want to try and run a TTRPG based off of it (and other Mascot Horror games). I'm still mulling over the details, but the summary of the basic premise is as follows...

A small group of people (about 4-5 people) all meet at an abandoned and derelict amusement park, all for their own reasons. The amusement park had opened 15 years ago, greatly advertised and rising in popularity, only for it to suddenly shut down 5 years ago. Nobody knows why the park shut down, and any articles or information about the park were all deleted or taken down from various sources. The only clue and hope the investigators have is the AI Mascot Guide in the Amusement Park who seems to be more than just mere programming...

As for the Game System, I'm currently thinking of using either D&D 5e 2014, or Candela Obscura. Depending on what everyone would be interested in.

Silversong Lake

Morgran looks at Miss Light in concern while Feathreen seems completely unfazed. He asks Miss Light, "Miss Light? Are you alright?" He proceeds to wave a hand in front of Miss Light's face trying to see if she would react at all, or if she simply continues to stare at the swan ahead of them.

Feathreen simply answers as she continues swimming along the river and pulling the Gondola, "So you find joy in my presence or existence? I suppose that is one way of thinking; Finding joy in the company of others, even if they are just strangers," Her tone is simply thoughtful as she gives the answer. Regardless, the swan keeps swimming and pulling as she continues speaking and poses the next question,

"But...that answer does raise an issue. It can be easy to think something or someone is there, when they actually do not exist. So, how do I know that you exist? Or rather, how do you know that I exist?"
Sooo... Did you have any opinions on the idea I had a while back?

Sorry for the silence on my part. Had a lot of things to take care of on my end for the holidays.

I should be able to get a post up today. Though, I have different reactions in mind.

Your idea is a good one. I just wasn't able to go through with it at the time. ^^"

Merry Belated Critmas and Happy New Years to everyone! ^_^
Pretty smart of Aurora to ask the goblin who can't keep secrets.

Anyways, I was able to get a brief DM Post up for the next round of posts from everyone.

Feel free to speak amongst yourselves IC. When you guys are ready to move on from the current position, I will need a d8 roll from whoever leads the group with Clapperclaw. ^_^

Until then, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays Everyone! ^_^
Chapter 3
Thither

The Woods

Zavakri, Gabriel, and Clapperclaw were silent for the most part as the sleeping pair were awakened by the floating skeletal hand. Both Gabriel and Zavakri are looking away from Brutrumukk for a good moment, Gabriel in guilt, while Zavakri is trying to prevent herself from outright sobbing at the sight of the skeletal hand. Thankfully, she is successful as she fans her face and takes a couple of deep silent breaths.

The conversation between the goblinoids continue without interruption. Clapperclaw noticeably waits for Jub to answer Aurora's question about the conversation before he speaks up.

"Oh! These guys are friends of yours? I saw them run from the bullywug knights! Don't know what happened there, but Jub over here was really fast! Gotta say, that was impressive!"

He continues, placing hands on his hips, "Well, just leaving you guys stranded here in the woods won't do you any good. I know a safe space where you guys can rest if you need to! There's a cave nearby where old man Nibs resides. Nibs might be depressing to talk to, but he is quite hospitable. I'll lead you to him,"
