@Guardian Angel Haruki I went ahead and added guidance, as I intended to cast it for an active search.

That said, natural 20, for a total of 28.

O_O WOW!

Alrighty then...I would say that is a definite success.

So, with that, Voth notices that the area around the cart has no footsteps, no broken branches, and not even a fallen leaf that's out of place. If anything, he only finds the tracks of the chariot's wheels and the owlbear's footprints, revealing that the owlbear ran here.

With the Natural 20, Voth does think to check the chariot itself. While there is nothing inside, Voth does find claw marks on the interior front of the chariot. From there Voth can naturally conclude this...

Something large, with taloned claws grabbed the rider from the chariot. Considering that there were no other footprints, he can also reasonably guess that whatever it was: It is capable of flight.
I'm afraid the internet has ruined me. I see fantasy art, and my first thought is almost immediately "That looks like it was done by AI." Which is completely ridiculous.
WotC didn't start using AI programs for their artwork until "Glory of Giants", released in 2023. "The Wild Beyond the Witchlight" was published in 2021.

That aside, @Guardian Angel Haruki what would I need to roll to check for signs of people nearby? Footprints, broken branches, fallen leaves, etc. Would it be perception for looking at a glance, or survival?

You are correct, Sir! That particular piece of artwork was created by Craig J Spearing according to the Module.

As for looking around for signs of people nearby, that would be a Survival check.

EDIT: Investigation can also help here.
@Guardian Angel Haruki, not sure if you missed this, but Cassidy has a miss on a move from this post:

<Snipped quote>

Ah! Thank you!.

Go ahead and mark an Experience point for the Miss.
@rush99999 Fair Counterpoints, but here is my rebuttal...

Counterpoints One and Two: The party is currently in Prismeer, a Domain of Delight, which is its own Feywild Plane, far from the Material Plane. As the DM, I know how the other worlds besides the Forgotten Realms are included in this game. So, Ebberon lore is just as valid as the Forgotten Realms.

Counterpoint Three:

This is why I made Eleanor a Mark of Handling Human in Lurking's game. XD
@Guardian Angel Haruki

Would you by any chance be in agreement with Baldur's Gate 3 that Speak With Animals can work on owlbears. If so, would the owlbear's huff and growl mean anything to Brutrumukk if he used his new feat to cast Speak With Animals?

Unfortunately, I am not in agreement with Baldur's Gate 3. ^^"
Speak with Animals helps with understanding creatures that are Beasts. Owlbears on the other hand, are labeled as monstrosities.
Amusement Park Entrance

After William crosses the threshold of the fence, and approaches the trio, all four of them can hear something. The speakers start to play whimsical music, albeit very distorted from age. William and Duck-Billed O'Malley would recognize this music as the usual entry music that plays for guests as they enter. But...how is it suddenly playing now?

A wide TV screen placed above the doorway lights up to a blue background, and a familiar animated mascot appears: A tawny rabbit wearing a waistcoat, with antlers growing from his head. His long ears are perked up as he greets the four of you cheerfully,

"Hi there! Welcome to our Wonderland! Here, you will find friendly family experiences that are both whimsical and educational! You can--"

His voice and image distorts, before he appears closer, and he speaks in realization, "Wait! You're our first guests in. One thousand nine hundred, and eighty-two days," His voice became mechanical as he listed the days.

His speech goes back to its normal cheerful tone as he speaks again, "Congratulations! I'm Jack! Jack the Jackalope! Please come on in, and enjoy our park!"

The TV shuts off, and the heavy entrance doors leading into the park slowly swing open, possibly much more ominously than whimsically. The heavy doors reveal rows of turnstiles that lead into the Main Street of the Park.

Thither

The Woods

Clapperclaw looks to Aurora when she asks for him to wait for her, and he nods his stag skull, the lower jaw clacking against the upper jaw once again, "Sure thing! Whenever you're ready, I'll lead the way!"

The little scarecrow waits patiently as the group finishes talking and wraps up their conversation and introductions. After the party gives their responses and agree to go with Clapperclaw, the scarecrow answers Brutrumukk, "It's this way!"

He then leads the way through the forest.

Random Encounter 1

After a while of trekking through the forest, the party find something. They find an owlbear yoked to a dilapidated chariot! The owlbear clearly notices the group approaching but doesn't move to attack. Instead, it seems to give a huff and lying down. But if a party member does approach the owlbear, it gives a low growl in warning. The chariot is noticeably large enough to carry two medium sized people and their gear.

You can have wings and horns. Just ask the Jersey Devil!

Touche. But we already encountered the Jersey Devil in a different game. XD
And I was just thinking of writing a DM Post to help move things along here. XD

Perfect timing @rush99999. (And another note regarding the Roll: Jeez, again?! XD)

OK. I am going to go ahead and get a DM Post up. For the purposes of preventing another instance of one group waiting for another one: We are going to say that the party is not splitting. As Brutrumukk leaves, everyone is following him.

So, when you are writing your posts, you are welcome to write how you conclude the meeting before following Brutrumukk along with the reactions to what you find for the Random Encounter. ^_^

EDIT: Also as a quick correction, the Wanted Poster is signed by Granny Nightshade.
