Current Goodbye Miura. One of my favorite fantasy authors of all time has gone too soon.

Don't forget, they made another new hero named Screentime. A meme loving superhero who got his powers from exposure to internet gas. He has the ability to basically be a smart phone.

Someone make a writing challenge. I never seem to win those but they're really fun.

I agree. I'd make one, but then I wouldn't get to make an entry (well I could make an entry but it's not as fun if you know that it won't win).

Would you, and @Guess Who mind if I kinda proceed with Delta bringing up the meetup at the Deli and make a quick skip to there, just to keep it all succinct in one post?

Yeah do that, otherwise I'd end up making a one paragraph post and I hate that.
I'm only going by the show here, but I figured upperclassmen would attend lunch the same time as everyone, like Velvet was.

I figured the same.
Right, to clear up any further confusion due to me:

@Lugubrious@harinezumikouken@Prince of Seraphs@Nytem4re, Gren planned for all of y'all to meet him at lunch, which originally was just the cafeteria, but on a whim I also had him meet up with Team CODE (So that includes you all, @floodtalon@MULTI_MEDIA_MAN@Abillioncats@Forsythe) at the deli just cause. This way Gren can introduce his Team to Grane, as well as invite them and Team CODE to the party he's going to try to throw for them after school and such. Additionally I'm debating if I can somehow involved Team RVGD in this growing clusterfuck because I'm a glutton for punishment.

And while no means a sub plot that I intend to push for, I did have it in my mind for Gren to try to get all the player teams together for a huge party, cause why not? Though it's also his way of trying to earn the hearts and mind of his fellow students and get Sapphire to open up to the group a bit more. Because if she doesn't then Gren could use this opportunity to establish a power base among the students to support him should he ever decide to overthrow Sapphire's current position of leadership.

Also while I know I'm late to that conversation, Sapphire isn't the only one who's strategically smart. Shiro might not be the brightest bulb but he's no dunce when it comes to fighting. Abel at least knows how to protect his people so when it comes to defensive strategies he'll be able to take care of the team. And for Gren? I don't know what Gren is good at, because it implies that I'm good at it. Instead of telling you what he's good at, I'm going to have him show you what he can do. But beside all of that, there's one power that Gren, Abel, and Shiro all have that Sapphire's skills and knowledge won't defeat: The Power of Friendship. She either needs to share that power with them, or she'll have to go without it.

I wouldn't mind including Robert in this mess, though Napoli seems to have joined him and Delta for lunch so probably best to include him too.

Robert Fallson - Slowly going blind

"Yeah sure, I'd love to come. Helping someone in need is my kind of thing, especially if it's a friend," he replied to Delta, already considering his new teammate that he'd only known for a half hour a friend. In his peripheral vision, Robert noticed that people were turning away from their fellow classmates and toward the front of the room where the teacher was probably now standing. "Talk to you after class, dude," he said as he turned his attention to Oobleck.

Another day in history, another day of fun. At least for Robert. Most probably didn't enjoy history as much as he did. Robert was weird like that. It probably helped that he had been in class everyday from day one and had quickly adapted to Oobleck's fast-paced lectures. Still, no matter how much he loved the class, there was a basic, human necessity that called out to him: his stomach. As soon as the bell rang, Robert rushed toward the door to get to the cafeteria before the line. After taking what he thought would be a shortcut though, he found himself waiting at the very end, almost out the door of the large building.

Ten minutes passed before Robert finally escaped the line. During that time he had read Delta's message and sent a reply telling him that he'd find him as soon as he got his pizza. As the red-haired teen looked table to table to find his teammate, he realized that the bridge of his nose was beginning to get sore from having his glasses rest on it for so long. He removed his glasses momentarily to massage his aching nose with his index finger and thumb. It was only a second, but it was all Lady Luck needed to torment the poor boy again. A nearby group of students were busy playing with their food rather than eating it, and one specific boy was squeezing a small ketchup packet. The flimsy packet could not handle all the pressure being exerted on it and a small tear formed in it. A stream of the red condiment squirted out and made a beeline straight for for his eyes. "Gah! Why'd it have to be the eyes again?" he said as began rubbing and blinking away the shear thinning fluid.

Spotting the familiar neutral colors of Delta's appearance, Robert sat at the seat across from him. "Hey." He looked up to see a figure behind his teammate, but if it was someone familiar he couldn't tell, the acidic condiment still burned his eyes. "Who's your friend?"
So I'm browsing the Dark Souls artwork on Steam, when I came across this beauty:

@Abillioncats I suggest just shooting the robot at this point. Doesn't seem like Prince plans on posting.

John nodded to his reptilian companion. "Sure did. Now let's get going to the bridge," he replied before drawing both of his pistols and slowly traversing the hallways, prepared for any more surprise encounters.

Following the interrogated pirate's instructions, it didn't take long before the two reached their destination. "Alright, I'll throw my stun grenade in there and as soon as it goes off, you put that rifle of yours on full-auto and turn everyone in there to Swiss Cheese. I'll mop up the survivors. Ready? Go."

The ship's captain gripped the armrests of his chair in frustration. All contact had been lost with the boarding party on the mercenaries' ship. The Combat Mech was on its knees. Their expensive fighters were quickly becoming floating scrap. And, to top it all of, reports said that some of the mercenaries were now somewhere aboard his own ship. This whole operation was a complete disaster. "Send out every last fighter we have. Keep us connected to that last ship. We lose it, and we lose all of our ore," he shouted to his crew. Several of them frantically ran, console to console to give out their leader's orders. "And someone find those trespassers!" He heard a voice call out, "We're right here!" before a blinding light suddenly burst in front of him.

The hanger bays of the cruiser opened once again as another swarm of fighters entered the fray. These ships were meant for much larger prey though. While slow, their hulls were much better protected than the previous ships. Their weapons were also much more of a threat. Instead of firing several shots at once, these would fire a single shot at its target that would completely obliterate any normal fighter of the same class. It would be a hard fight.
