If you are a fan of Warhammer 40,000 or Age of Sigmar, let me know. Maybe we can put together an RP. I play Ironjawz & Kruleboyz in AOS and Salamanders & Drukhari in 40K.

Bio
I am a veteran of the United States Army and the US Army National Guard. I spent three years on Active Duty serving in the 4th Infantry Division (Mechanized) at Ft. Carson, CO, and the 3rd Armor Division at Kirch Göns, West Germany. I spent 18 years in the Army National Guard with the 26th Infantry Division "Yankee" and 29th Infantry Division (Light), "The Blue and the Gray". I was deployed to Bosnia-Herzegovina with the 29th ID (L) in 2001 - 2002. I have also been reading military history articles and books since I was 10 years old. I do prefer Military Role Plays over all other genres, primarily because I have a vast knowledge of the subject including personal experiences. At the very least, my characters are always veterans.
I have been writing for pleasure for at least 35+ years but only got into forum-based Role Playing about eighteen years ago. I do enjoy Nation Role Plays and get into minute detail when designing my military. The only reason I enjoy excruciating detail in my militaries is because for me, it is fun. My education and experience on this subject afford me the insight to see the depth of the structure. It is not just a General and a large pile of soldiers. If someone wants assistance in designing an army, navy, or air force, please send me a PM. I will help. Please specify what level (echelon) or depth you would like me to go. When I say echelon, I mean Army, Corps, Division, Brigade/Regiment, Battalion/Squadron, Company/Troop/Battery, Platoon, and Squad/Section.
When I was a student in High School, I used to play Dungeons & Dragons. Recently, I have been DMing a 5e campaign of my creation for my son and his friends. 5e is so much less cumbersome than earlier editions of D&D. I do have an interest in Tolkien-esque fantasy-styled Role Plays as well. Time travel has always been a fun genre for me, but to do it well, one must have a firm grasp of historical facts.
There are only a few fanfictions I will participate in; Star Wars and Star Trek are two of them. I want to do an exclusively Klingon RP one of these days. I also avoid Canon characters.
I have real-world martial arts experience. I would love to write an RP about hand-to-hand combat, no fantasy magic chit, just hands elbows, knees, and feet. Maybe the occasional head butt thrown in to mix things up. I trained in Krav Maga for six and a half years. I earned a first-degree black belt in Krav Maga on 3 June 2017.
Krav Maga is an Israeli martial art form that employs practical self-defense techniques drawing forms & techniques from Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and Taekwando. It is very brutal, demanding, and aggressive. During the seven years I trained, I have bruised two ribs, sustained several muscle pulls, and various lacerations and bruises over my body. I have received a sprained ankle and a fractured wrist. Before the first black belt test, I received a bone bruise to my right shin; where my roundhouse kicks impact. Yet, I am stupid enough to continue training. [Regardless of the physical pain, it is more fun than any other physical activity I have engaged in. Fortunately, the bone bruise healed up prior to the third and final test. EDIT: I did leave the sport over five years ago. :(]
Over two years ago I completed my first novel, a science fiction set in the 24th century. It focuses on a Private Military Corporation solely employed by the earth government. I started a second book in November 2022 and hope to work on that this summer when I have more time.
Send me a PM for a Role Play or if you would like to see what sort of an army I could build for you.

History
What Brings You To Role Player Guild: There is a large community of writers here. I enjoy the hobby even though I rarely get time to participate. Currently, I try to limit my stories to one at a time. Unfortunately, I rarely find one I enjoy and others are willing to write in. When I do, they die way too early. Life Before You Came To Role Player Guild: It was very different. I don’t know how to explain it in just a few words or sentences. Life Since You Came To Role Player Guild: This is just a side hobby. I have many irons in the fire and this is just one of them. It has taken a back seat to my real life activities.

Quotes or Sayings: “Those who fail to learn the lessons of the past are doomed to repeat them.” – Winston Churchill paraphrasing George Santayana. “If you’re going to fight, fight like the third monkey on the ramp to Noah’s ark and brother…It’s starting to rain.” Theme Song: Warrior’s Call Advice To The World: Forgive the actions of those who came before us. Behaviors we consider heinous crimes today were generally accepted practices many years ago. Anything Else:
Loden merrily strode along the packed earth and stone roadway. It felt comforting to be on such familiar ground. He gazed upon the forest, left and right, with warmth, smiling as thoughts of his childhood flooded back. Those were good days, good times indeed, he thought to himself. He allowed the loss of his mentor and adopted father to sink back in his subconscious for now. No reason to become sad and gloomy on such a beautiful day as this. The insects buzzed about the clearings, butterflies bounced on the air and small birds darted in and out of the trees singing their songs of joy, of life. So, did Loden Grimm, sing his song of joy, one he learned many years ago from Brand of the Nightwood...
If you'd come with me to County Satrom, O brown-haired flower of maidens, I'd give you honey and mead for food, O brown-haired flower of maidens. Bright salmon I'd bring back to you, Wine and beer to drink after that, You could sleep sound in a bed of down, O brown-haired flower of maidens.
Oh, I saw her toward me through the mountains, Like a star approaching in the mist, And I was talking and conversing with her Till we reached the cows' pasture. We sat down beside the road and I swore to her in writing, That nothing she lacked but I'd rove out to find For the brown-haired flower of maidens.
Ah, I'll not go with you, and it's no good your asking, Said the brown-haired flower of maidens, For your speeches won't keep me alive without food, Said the brown-haired flower of maidens, A thousand times better that I were single forever Than to be walking the dewy glens with you, And that my heart gave you love and affection, Said the brown-haired flower of maidens. --Old Gaellic folk song
Almost on cue, the song ended as he came to the small village of Bosfyrd, the hamlet he visited on occasion with his father, fetching supplies or bartering away something one of his siblings may have crafted. The children made many finished products over the years, which Brand could find a buyer for quite easily to help raise his large brood of wayward children. The children were more than happy to use their talents to raise money for the family. After all it was Brand who taught them to build such fine tools.
The sights and sounds of the woods and hamlet caused many delightful memories of a safer time. They overwhelmed him and brought joy to his heart. That feeling is what pushed the Ranger-Healer to sing his song of yore.
Standing at the edge of the town, leaning against a building, Loden eyeballed several armed men with no identifying tabard, seal or banner marking them as soldiers belonging to Baron Whul or King Harold. They displayed no colors for any of Harold's vassals in Vendland. Were they were mercenaries? If so, why were they here in Bosfyrd?
Not wanting to attract attention, Loden silently made his way past back doors and through alleyways until he found himself at the tavern known as "The Scuffed Boots". He entered quietly, lowered his hood and scanned the room. He attempted to acclimate himself to the patronage, looking from face to face. He eagerly sought a familiar face. It had been ten years since last he visited these lands. Although he was certain there was someone in this tavern who knew him, he was equally certain they had all grown up and changed their appearance.
Loden scanned the room until his eyes fell upon a tanned young man in his early twenties. Given his appearance, chances were he was one of Brand's children and that made him a brother. The man was dark haired and appeared to possess a natural grace only a few, himself included are blessed with. He had similarly dark eyes, almost amber in color. He was clean shaven with his hair pulled back wearing a sand colored cloak. The ring in his ear, made Loden look twice as he'd only seen a few of the desert tribes wear these, then it dawned on him. This was the boy, Masef who was twelve years old when he left. He was 80% certain it was Masef and would speak with the young man to verify.
Then his eyes fell upon a trio at the back of the room, two young men and a young woman. The taller of the two men, looked familiar but could not place him. The shorter man, was still taller than Loden, maybe just under six foot with a lean muscular physique. His kind, soulful eyes reminded him of a boy he knew in his teens. Then it hit him, this was the kid who came to Brand's home in the last three years he lived there. He had previously lived with a monk and had an old soul. 'What was his name,' Loden throught to himself, 'Bey, Ron? Baron? something like that.' When he looked at the woman, he realized she was an elf which brought him back to the elven girl he once knew. He remembered nursing her back to health at one time. Although she was always shorter than him, today, she was about the same height. He recalled she was a very kind hearted sweet young girl who he really enjoyed being around. When he realized who it was, he shouted, "Ashira!" and moved as quickly through the crowd to the trio. As he got closer, a smile spread across his face, "Ashira!" he exclaimed at the group. "It's Loden, Loden Grimm. I haven't seen you in ten years." He reached out and gave her a big hug.

Second Platoon, D Company, 2nd Infantry Battalion
Second Platoon, D Company, 2nd Infantry Battalion consists of 46 soldiers and has two Fabrique Nationale (FN) A21 Jeeps with 30mm Light Machine Guns (LMG), two FN A21 Jeeps with Automatic Grenade Launchers (AGL), two FN A21 Jeeps with Buzz Bombs and 32 Skimmers. The Soldiers of second platoon all carry the standard issue 20mm Assault Rifle and Body Armor. The Platoon Leader, 2nd Lieutenant Michel Vandervoort carries a 10mm Pistol.
The Jeeps and Skimmers provide rapid mobility for the platoon. The Platoon operates in a similar manner to Dragoons or mounted infantry. The Jeeps have a maximum speed of 160 KpH (100 MPH) while the Skimmers have a maximum speed of 250 KpH (156 MPH). While each Jeep has a weapon system and someone to operate them, the skimmers are unarmed. The Skimmers are used simply to move the infantry rapidly to a fight. The soldiers dismount when they arrive and fight on foot. Meanwhile, the soldiers who operate the jeeps remain mounted and provide fire support from a distance.
The platoon is organized into a Headquarters section and four ten man squads. The Headquarters section consists of the platoon leader, platoon sergeant and four enlisted soldiers. The HQs section has two A21 Jeeps, each with a 30mm LMG. Two of the enlisted soldiers are the drivers and the other two are the gunners for the LMG. Lieutenant Vandervoort rides in one Jeep while Master Sergeant Jan Klinker, the platoon sergeant rides in the other.
Each squad has one A21 Jeep and eight Skimmers. Two soldiers in each squad act as driver and gunner for the squad's Jeep. The 1st Squad and 3rd Squad each have an Automatic Grenade Launcher, while the 2nd Squad and 4th Squad each have a buzzbomb for anti-armor purposes. Each squad has a Sergeant who serves as the squad leader and a Corporal who serves as the assistant squad leader. The remainder of the squad consists of Privates and Privates First Class (PFC).
2nd Lieutenant Michel Vandervoort carries a 10mm pistol and serves as the Platoon Leader. He is of Dutch descent and is an overly confident 25 year old man. Lt. Vandervoort has served with Hammer's Slammers for four years and is due for a promotion. He has been with the 3rd platoon for only one month. The men of the platoon are still trying to get used to him.
Master Sergeant Jan Klinker carries a 20mm Assault Rifle and serves as the platoon sergeant. MSG Klinker is also of Dutch descent and has served with the Slammers for fifteen years, the past three years have been in his current position. Klinker is an experienced and knowledgeable NCO, with tactical proficiency. He could very easily take over the Lieutenant's job if needed. The soldiers look up to MSG Klinker with respect. No one would ever back talk the "Platoon Daddy". He might just punch someone through a wall if they did. He demands discipline from his platoon. MSG Klinker is considered the old man of the platoon at age 38.
Corporal Fons Schroeder carries a 20mm Assault Rifle and serves as First Squad's Assistant squad Leader. Corporal Schroeder served as a Rifleman in third squad for three years before being promoted to Corporal and assigned as the ASL in first Squad. He needs to develop his leadership ability before being considered for promotion to Sergeant. Corporal Shroeder can be negative at times and is waiting for Sergeant Kunst to prove something to him before accepting him completely as hsi squad leader. The Corporal will do what he is told, but may not be overly willing to step up and take over yet. It is a tenuous relationship.
Sergeant Andre Rocks carries a 20mm Assault Rifle and serves as second squad leader. He is 28 years old and has been with the Slammers for seven years.
Corporal Jouke Rosen carries a 20mm Assault Rifle and serves as the assistant squad leader in the second squad. He is 27 years old and has been with the Slammers for five years.
Sergeant Gotthard Tanis carries a 20mm Assault Rifle and serves as the third squad leader. He is 30 years old and has been with the Slammers for five years.

He is a quick thinker and enjoys engaging in playful banter with friends, humor and practical jokes. When it is time to work, Calvin is focused on the task at hand, not easily distracted. He does occasionally wonder about his parents; believing them to be dead. Although he has had occasional dates in his life, he never had a serious relationship with a woman. This is his one regret. Now he worries this may never happen, given the current state of affairs in the world. It is not that he is looking for a woman, in fact, he puts the notion out of his mind as one of those things he is incapable of achieving.
Backstory: Calvin Young grew up in West Roxbury, a neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. West Roxbury is home to Boston Police Officers and Calvin's father Reginald "Reggie" served the city of Boston for over thirty years, rising to the rank of Superintendant in charge of the Bureau of Investigative Services (BIS), which consists of the Homicide Unit, Drug Control Unit, Family Justice Center and Forensic Science Division. Due to his father's position in the community, young Calvin always had to keep his nose clean. His father was tough on him, insuring he kept out of trouble.
Calvin played football at Fenway High School on Alleghany St. Calvin played varsity Safety and excelled on defense. He exhibited leadership on and off the field unifying the defensive squad into a cohesive team. Occasionally, he was called upon to play Running Back or Receiver.
Although Calvin excelled at athletics, he did not do so well in academic pursuits. He did however graduate with his classmates in 2123. Immediately following High School, Calvin found that job prospects were deplorable and enlisted in the United States Army. He chose the Military Occupational Specialty 13F Fire Support Specialist. He conducted Basic Combat Training (BCT) and Advanced Individual Training (AIT) at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma learning how to call in any and all indirect fire available to the US Army. This included Artillery, Multiple Launch Rocket Systems and Infantry Mortars.
Calvin's first duty assignment was with the 2nd Battalion, 3rd Field Artillery Regiment in the US 1st Armor Division at Ft. Bliss, Texas. While at Ft. Bliss, Calvin found a martial arts school off post that taught the Israeli Self Defense form, Krav Maga. Private First Class Young really enjoyed the physicality of the exercise along with the aggressiveness. He took to it immediately.
Calvin Young spent his first three years in the Army with 2-3FA, 1AD ending up as a Specialist. When he was due to re-enlist, he was offered a promotion to Sergeant and training in US Army Special Forces. He was actually quite excited about this offer and snapped it up right away.
Sergeant Young then transferred to Ft. Benning, GA where he underwent four weeks of Airborne school. This training was actually more physical fitness than anything else. Fortunately, for Calvin, he had been focusing on his fitness since he was a Freshman in High School taking up weight lifting and then later as a brand new recruit training in Krav Maga in Texas.
After receiving his silver parachutist badge, he then headed to Ft. Bragg, North Carolina and the John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center. This was one of the most grueling experiences of his lifetime. He spent almost a year in the Special Forces Qualification Course (SFQ). Finally after four years in the US Army, Sergeant Calvin Young was a 22-year old 18B, Special Forces Weapons Sergeant.
Sergeant Young was assigned to the 5th Special Forces Group in Ft. Campbell, Kentucky for five years. As a member of Operational Detachment Alpha (ODA) #5213, A Company, 2nd Battalion, Sergeant Young saw action in Yemen, Somalia, Eqypt, Afghanistan, Pakistan, UAE, Iraq, Chad and Syria. About two years into his time with the 5th Group, Calvin Young was promoted to Staff Sergeant.
Next, he transferred to 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta (1st SFOD-D), popularly known as Delta Force. While with Delta, SSG Young saw action all over the world. SFOD Delta is assigned missions based on the threat level assigned by the President of the United States of America (POTUSA). Delta is used for hostage rescue and counterterrorism, as well as direct action and reconnaissance against high-value targets.
While with 5th SFG, Calvin Young used his Fire Support Specialist skills in calling in Artillery, mortar and rocket fire when needed. Often times, his ODA had a USAF Forward Air Control Party attached which provided guidance for Tactical Air assets providing Close Air Support. In conjunction with his duties as a Special Forces Weapons Sergeant and Forward Observer, SSG Young cross trained with US Air Force Forward Air Controllers to learn their duties as well. While with 5th SFG, SSG Young became qualified to call in Close Air Support attacks from Tactical Air assets provided in theater. These skills he has been able to utilitize with Indirect Fire Support units within Shadow Task Group (STG) or Private Military Corporations contracted to support STG in their operations.
It was during this time, that the US Army was called upon to assist with fighting the machines. The 5th SFG was already forward deployed to North Africa. SSG Young saw action in and around Cairo, Egypt, fighting the machines created by the corporations years before. He truly did not understand how the machines had acquired independent intelligence from a human operator, but was unfortunately, not in a position to question. As a Fire Support Specialist and Forward Air Controller for his Operational Detachment Alpha, SSG Young called in volumes of both indirect fired artillery and rocket projectiles as well as air launched munitions.
The unit was called back to the States in 2131, just before the launch of Weapons of Mass Destruction. He enjoyed being back home in Kentucky, but also quietly craved to be back in the shit. When he was in theater, he wanted to be home, but when he was home, he wanted to be in theater. It a crazy situation, but he dealt with it best he could.
When he heard about the WMD use all over the world, he cringed. He lost contact with his father and mother up in Boston. He knew he dad had his hands full with his duties with BPD. Things became darker and there were too many uncertainties in life.
After ten years in the army, one year after joining ODA-D, Calvin Young was promoted to Sergeant First Class at the age of 28. Also, due to his duty assignments in the US Special Operations Command, he was able to continue his training in Krav Maga. He did however miss one year of training while he was at JFK-SWC, but US Special Operations Units train in Krav Maga as a Standard Operational Procedure. Everyone in USSOCOM trains in Krav.
Due to the nuclear winter imposed on everyone, much of the civilian populace has gone underground. Even SFC Young's 1st SFOD-D spends most of its time underground. Advancements in exo-skeletons and the use of environmentally contained suits has allowed the Special Forces teams to operate above ground for short durations. SFC Young and his teammates do what they can to survive and complete their missions.
In 2135, while on a reconnaissance and surveillance operation in the Washington, DC area, SFC Young's Delta Team came in contact with Mutants. While in a fight for their lives, one member of the team, Anthony Gregario was bitten by mutated human. The infection time was rapid. SSG Gregario became enraged and displayed extreme aggression as well as superior speed. "Doc" Kraznowski had to put him down. It was tragic. SFC Young's team leader, Master Segeant Holloway reported their observations up the chain of command as soon as they were debriefed. That was when the order was given to shoot on sight, any contact with mutated humans and if possible to destroy them at a distance. While snipers became an excellent tool for targeting individual targets, SFC Young's skills with directing Indirect Fire and Tactical Air assets helped to destroy large herds of the infected population.
Even with the limited successes the US Army had in 2135, it was not enough. The machines and mutated lifeforms have pushed the healthy humans underground. The organizational structure of the US Military has disintegrated. Experienced personnel were urged to join Private Military Corporations like Shadow Task Group. This is exactly what former Sergeant First Class Calvin Young did.
Timeline: I took Anima's timeline and integrated Calvin Young's timeline to see how they mesh together. This helped me in writing the backstory for SFC Young.
2105: Born August 15. Given this information, he is either 31 if the current date is prior to his birthdate in 2137 or 32 if after his birthdate.
2112: Cryus Corporation announced the successful creation of the first independent AI machine. The bankrupt corporation quickly skyrocketed to the most powerful entity in the world. Mass distribution of the machines are assembled in undisclosed locations.
2112: Calvin is 6 or 7 years old and unaware of Cyrus Corporation and their machines.
2115: The machines have been further refined for cheaper assembly. Almost every household now owns a personal machine.
2115: Calvin is 9 or 10 years old. His father is a Boston City Police Detective. The Detective Lieutenant purchases a "Cyrus Machine" for the home. Calvin is curious.
2116: Ethics Community created to protect the rights of the machines. However, human bias of the committee made each law work in the interest of mankind. Machine sympathizers began riots in the streets. Minor domestic disturbances, only a few deaths reported. The same cannot be said of the machines.
2116: Calvin is 10 or 11 years old. He notices his father's work load increases during the Back Bay Riots that summer.
2123: Calvin Graduates HS & joins the Army. Reginald Young is appointed Superintendant of the BIS.
2126: Calvin Young is promoted to Sergeant and begins Special Forces Training.
2127: Learning from the past, strict rules were enforced. Law enforcement has become integrated into the Ethics Committee. Many anti-synthetic extremist carry out atrocious crimes against humanities synthetic siblings.
2127: Calvin Assigned to 5th SFG. First and Second deployments to Middle East.
2128: Calvin participates in five separate deployments to North Africa and the Middle East. He has not time or interest in reading about or understanding what is happening in the realm of AI enhanced machines or the term Anti-Synthetic exrtremist.
2129: First reported crime of murder by the hands of a machine. Law enforcement and civilian alike treat machines with heavy prejudice. Strong resentment and disregard for the platforms begin. The streets of every nation is set ablaze with violence. Initially, the machines don’t retaliate. However, it didn’t stay like that for long.
2129: Calvin is promoted to Staff Sergeant and returns to the Middle East and North Africa for six more deployments. He calls in several Close Air Support Missions using F-68 Thunderbird Attack Aircraft. The F-68 is an enhanced VII Generation Attack Aircraft encompassing VTOL/STOL capabilities, stealth, and improved avionics which can generate 30+G turns and naturally UCAV capabilities. A human cannot survive the turns this aircraft is capable of making. A few models of the F-68 are manned providing the Air Force's desired human eye perception of the 22nd Century battlefield.
2130: Military forces are called in. The revolt of the machines have begun. Every corner of the once great megalopolises are filled with death. The machines begin to develop weapons of their own through the salvage and rapid research that they can command. Slowly, humanity is slowly losing their ground.
2130: Calvin and the 5th SFG are assigned to the French Base at Djibouti. They conduct numerous operations against machines in Northeastern Africa; specifically in Egypt.
2131: Humanity resorts to WMDs in hopes of destroying their creations. With heavy regret, death reigns from above as whole cities are leveled. Families unable to flee to safe distances are vaporized under the extreme heat of human made missiles. However, the objective was successful. The machines were halted... for now.
2131: Calvin's ODA is evacuated from Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, mere hours before a 100 Megaton nuclear Warhead detonates over this Middle Eastern City killing an estimated 1.8 Million People.
2132: Assigned to 1st SFOD-D and deploys to several classified locations around the world including Egypt, Russia and Beijing China.
2133: Earth has become polluted with radiation and nuclear winters. Humanity has quickly fled to underground cities. There, new generations are born. Life goes on, but new dangers have arrived.
2133: SSG Young is promoted to Sergeant First Class. His Operational Detachment Delta (ODD) has been recalled back to the US permanently. SFC Young will never be deployed outside the US again. Times have become too difficult in country to send troops overseas. He and his ODD conduct several patrols in NBC Suits (MOPP-4). Occasionally contact with the Machines occurs. The ODD is supported by a squadron of F-68s and a battalion of MLRS. He uses them occasionally during operations in Northern Virginia.
2135: First encounter with the mutated has been confirmed. Studies have confirmed the infectivity of a bite from the infected. Anatomy has revealed that and saliva or any particle of blood can cause immediate infection. Infectees are enraged and show extreme aggression as do they have superior speed. All combat personnel are ordered to kill on sight. Distance kills recommended.
2135: SFC Young's last patrol in Eastern US results in the mutated death of a teammate. Calvin is horrified and happy to make it out of DC alive. Later that year, the US Army dissolves and the survivors are left to make their way to safety in the underground cities or wherever Safe Haven can be found.
2136: SFC Young agrees to join Shadow Task Group in order to fight against both the Mutants and the Machines.
2137 (Present Day): Humanity has lost any hope in reclaiming the surface. The infected and the machines have supremacy. Contact has been lost with many underground cities while surface settlements have also been lost. The population is slowly diminishing. The golden age of humans is over.
Life has taken a different turn, I just don't have the time to put into this. I was really looking forward to this one, but it must be shelved for now.
So a proposed antagonist below- since this is a little out there I just wanted to float the idea before filling in the history too much. Basically, a necromancer/mercenary captain hired by the King, he may have been the one to kill Brand, or at least been present at his death. Let me know if this works- if not, no sweat. Criticism and thoughts welcome from everyone of course. Also, happy to work out past history with anyone if this guy passes GM muster.
23 years ago, someone assassinated Baron Yaroglek in Westfeldt, his family and his servants. The only survivors were Yaroglek's 29 year old son, who is now 52 and the 4-year old Loden Grimm. Your Necro/Merc could have done that deed too. He would have been 34 years old at that time. Whoever killed Baron Yaroglek made it look as though the Tuldar family did it.
I think so. Varrick's a bit of a prick, although he's grown up.
EDIT: By the way, whatever image you picked to show Loden doesn't load. At least, not for me. Just shows a site logo with a bunch of characters. The Chinese kind, not the cartoon kind.
EDIT EDIT: Forget it, works now.
So maybe Loden and Varrick will console any differences they may have had as teens, but that other issue has not come to light yet.
I noticed the Chinese characters on the original gif. So, I clipped it, posted it to MSPaint and loaded on Imgur in order to clean it up.
I read each of the Character Sheets posted ahead of mine and tried to relate my character and his perceptions to each of yours. The only one he could potentially have a conflict with is NickTrano's Verrick Tuldar, but both Rangers are as of yet unaware of this potential. Do you believe I have a good feel for each of your characters as I have written Loden's perceptions of them?

Gunther is a morning person, but that comes from a life of serving in the military.

“If you’re going to fight, fight like the third monkey on the ramp to Noah’s ark and brother…It’s starting to rain.”
Theme Song: Warrior’s Call
Advice To The World: Forgive the actions of those who came before us. Behaviors we consider heinous crimes today were generally accepted practices many years ago.
