Esther trudged along amidst the cold winds. Even when she was walking in the middle of line, with Leblanc in front of her and Gradon behind her, she still could feel the chill going inside her body. Her long-sleeved dress somewhat helped in lessening the effect, but it still wasn't enough. She wondered how Leblanc could look so comfortable when she wore such little clothing.

Suddenly, her ears picked up something other than the sound of the wind. It was hazy at first but it grew clearer and clearer the further Esther walked forward. It was the sound of a... sniffing child? But that didn't make sense! How could there be a child in the middle of nowhere like this?

“M-Miss? What are you doing in the cold this late?” it asked, sounding much like a sniffling child. “It’s so c-cold out here…please help me…”

At first, Esther dismissed it as just her imagination. But the sound kept coming back, louder and louder each time. She looked nervously at Leblanc and Gradon, but none of them gave any signs that they heard anything.

And then, it dawned on her. There were tales of disembodied voices echoing in the mountains amidst the cold winds. Voices of spirits that wandered across the earth, doomed to never finding their way to the afterlife.

A ghost had been whispering to her.

Esther's face immediately turned as pale as a sheet. She was never good with ghosts. She remember how her playful tutor would often tell her stories about them, and every time she would cry due to just how scary they were.

"G-g-g-g-ghosts! T-there are ghosts here!" Esther shouted before jumping towards the nearest person she could find, which just happened to be Gradon. She clung to his arm, unknowingly pressing her amply-sized bosom into it.

"Uhm...Hi, M-Me too. And...."

Ena took off her eyes off Iria, looking at Yuki who also had come and greeted her.

"Uhm..s-sorry but are you a boy or a girl?"

But before she could hear her answer, Yuki already strolled off to greet another student. Thus, it fell to Iria's hands to answer her question, as Ena looked at her once more.

"Hmm, I don't know. Some days he can be a boy, the others she can be a girl. It all depends on Yuki's mood. You should ask Yuki yourself if you want further explanations," Iria answered mischievously. She was quite familiar with this question thanks to how her friend looked. So now she just played along, as Yuki loved to tease people with their inability to tell her gender.

Her fun was soon ruined however when a certain reporter joined them. She greeted Ena and her jovially, calling her her favorite pink color loving girl. Iria immediately blushed as she perfectly knew what she meant by that.

"G-greetings to you too, Seiko," she replied, her smile looking terribly forced and strangely menacing at the same time. "I didn't expect you to be here. Don't you have something better to do like hanging on stairs looking upwards for girls to look up too?"

This, of course, referred to one of Iria's naughty pics. It wasn't the only place where her unmentionables got exposed however. Somehow Seiko managed to obtain ten pictures. And she even told her she still got more. She wasn't sure that it was merely a bluff knowing her.

"An interesting group of people don't you think? Lots of potential friends... Seiko's here too. She should make this a lot more interesting."

"W-well, interesting is certainly one way to put it..." Iria replied. She wondered if Yuki knew that the journalist had been blackmailing her with her... lewd pictures she stealthily took god knows when, would she change her tone? She couldn't feel wholly comfortable being in the club as long as the journalist was still there. Even if she would return her photos to her, she would still be wary of her taking more lewd pictures of her in the future. She had to be careful not to expose herself again in front of her.

"Y-yes, I believe I shall go greet her," Iria said to Yuki's advice. She rose up from her seat and approached the girl. With a kind smile she said, "Greetings, Ena. I'm Iria. I'll be looking forward to be working with you from now on." She said her words as gently and non-threatening as possible, not wanting to make the girl nervous.
