I've never heard any negative criticism about Crystal Chronicles, in fact, I've only ever heard praise. How is it underrated? or where is it underrated, I guess would be the question if I were being more specific.

Because not enough people know about it tbh.

Also what Dynamo said.
Underrated: Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles. It was convoluted as fuck at the time to get multiplayer going, but it was a lot of fun.

Overrated: World of Warcraft. Just couldn't get into it.

Was she a sadist?

The question came from the many, many looks she got as she watched a majority of the populace stroll in at their leisure. There was just something about being feared that felt...right. Feared? Well, she was intimidating, or so she was repeatedly told. She liked to think of herself as disciplined, though she did have an awful case of resting bitch face. But that was just genetics; even her mother, who was probably one of the sweetest people she had known to this day, had to constantly smile to make sure she didn't look like she was constantly scowling. Victoire was honestly just used to it at this point, though her expression helped people take her seriously, so there was that.

Of course, all this flew out the window as Lucas was determined to annoy the crap out of her. He had been circling the area at a distance, constantly coming back and making an attempt to copy her face as he would stare down his classmates. Some laughed, others looked mildly confused, and the rest said nothing, lest they incur Victoire's wrath. More importantly, Lucas was a damn distraction. She was certain she had missed a few who had violated the dress code, making a mental note to chase them down, though she could no longer ignore Lucas. The boy took notice as she abandoned her post, scowling at her to the best of his ability.

"Miss President, you're going to miss out on the loose ties and untucked shirts!" Lucas gasped dramatically, eyes widened.

Resisting the urge to roll her eyes, Victoire chose to smile, slightly adjusting Lucas' tie. "I swear to god I'm going to strangle you," She told him rather cheerfully as she suddenly tightened the knot. "Why are you buzzing around here?!"

"Vic! Stop! Ack!" He wrested himself away from her, loosening his tie considerably so he could breathe again. "I'm just waiting for my boy to come in, geez..."

Oh god, he meant Santiago, didn't he? How the hell Lucas and him were friends, she had no idea. If one didn't know any better, the two were an unlikely pair all things considered: the 'diablo' was infamous around campus for his signature 'hit-it-and-quit-it' whereas Lucas was just as much of a manwhore, so why he was friends with someone who was essentially his competition was beyond her. Still, the thought of Santiago seemed to have caught her attention, the girl letting out a sigh as she shook her head at Lucas.

He grinned in response, though some girl's shrieking would temporarily put their conversation on hold. "Ladies and gentleman, we have our first of many meltdowns!" He snickered, nudging Victoire. "That's your cue to intervene, isn't it?"

Hell no. Victoire despised interacting with any sort of drama queen--well, she didn't like interacting with most people--so she wasn't exactly interested in...whatever the hell was going on over there. Still, it was always good to stomp out an issue before things escalated. Letting out a sigh, Victoire decided (against her better judgment) to see what off handed comment had offended whoever the hell that girl was. Lucas ended up having a point, as a small crowd was starting to gather, curious eyes wanting to see what was happening. Clapping her hands together rather loudly, she shooed away a majority of the onlookers. Man, people were so fucking nosy.
Honestly, she should have felt bad, but the irony was too good.

Cielle's expression was one of exasperation as Kai would, yet again, go racing forward. There wasn't even a chance for her to give him any warning, although the Heartless had (rather quickly) given him a lesson due to his haste. She ended up having to bite down on her lower lip to prevent herself from outright bursting into laughter, her chuckling still audible. Technically, it wasn't that funny, but the short time between his action and the consequence made it impossible for her to take seriously. Clearing her throat, she would glance over him; luckily he wasn't hurt, though she was sure his ego may have been bruised. Perhaps it was for the better, as her constant warnings fell on deaf ears.

But right now, she wouldn't chastise him, feeling that he had probably learned his lesson. Or not. Either way she had been greatly entertained, so it had been worth it. She shivered slightly as a slight breeze made the cold nip at her bare skin, and she figured it would be best to take care of the Heartless as quickly as possible. "Well, then...if you're done dilly-dallying," She tried to be serious, but it was clear she was still trying not to laugh. Then again, maybe he was the type that did better when he could see what she meant rather than just listening. Raising her keyblade, she motioned for him to watch her, intending on showing him where he went wrong. "If you must rush, use what you have to aid you," She instructed him as she would copy his previous action and jump into the air. The snowman Heartless noticed her right away, although she was counting on it.

"Aero!" She called out, the wind magic swirling around her, and rather than getting knocked back like Kai did, the protective spell made the Heartless' attack bounce back. Slicing through the staggered Heartless, as it faded she spun once, her Aero bursting and pushing all the smaller Heartless away from her. Some fell over, others took it as a chance to charge, and Cielle felt in her element again. Her limbs did protest from the cold as she swung, but she wasn't going to let it slow her down, not until she was finished.

As the last Heartless faded away, Cielle exhaled, her breath getting swept away as a strong breeze came it. She nearly dropped her weapon as she gripped her arm, shivering madly. "G-Goodness...!" She gasped, huddling close to Kai as she tried to brace herself against the wind. "W-Well, I've never d-done this spell before, b-but I don't think this c-cold is going away anytime s-soon," She spoke through chattering teeth, steadying herself long enough as she pointed her keyblade to the ground. It shined once more, this time drawing what looked like a silver crown into the snow.

A brilliant light erupted, enveloping them for just a moment. As it faded, Cielle let out a sigh of relief, stepping away from Kai and placing her now gloved hand on her hip. "Much better!" She cheered, patting her earmuffs. She was glad her spell worked, their previous clothes transformed into ones more appropriate for the snow. Cielle had chosen a light pink pea coat, coupled with tights, earmuffs, and warm gloves. She probably should have exchanged her skirt for pants, but her tights were fine. Her boots crunched the snow as she examined Kai curiously. "How do you feel now?" She asked.
Well, the princess was certainly brash to just take off as such. Cielle shook her head in disproval, Anna's actions reminding her just a little too much of Kai. Said blonde was rearing to give chase, practically running ahead already. For someone who was definitely not dressed for the winter, he sure was eager. Still, her own chattering teeth told her that they needed to be a little more prepared. Reaching forward, the girl would take a hold of Kai's hood, managing to halt his progress before he could go any further. "I have to insist you give things a thought before running off," Cielle frowned at him, although she would release his hood. She wasn't yelling for once, but she figured that she needed to make sure he knew what they were getting into. "This sudden change of weather and the queen's sudden escapade aren't coincidence. While you have the right idea in chasing after the princess, we are ill-garbed to challenge the terrain," She explained, though as she looked around, she felt there were too many people around.

Beckoning for Kai to follow her, she decided to lead him to a more sheltered part of the gates, away from any wandering eyes--especially those of the Duke Cielle had noticed. Once she knew they were in the clear, she summoned her keyblade once again as she spotted a door. "It's a good time as any, I suppose," Cielle murmured to herself at first, though she gave Kai a determined look. "So far, you have done well with your battle skills and magic. However, the Keyblade isn't simply a tool for combat. It does have its other uses, and while it would take too long to properly explain the numerous amount of abilities, I thought that one in particular would come in handy: the Keyblade can undo any normal lock. Observe."

Cielle went over and tried to open it, showing Kai that it was locked. Taking a few steps back, she made sure he was paying attention before she continued. Gripping her keyblade with both hands, she slowly lifted it as a small light emitted from the tip. Once it was held high enough, the light zipped into the door's keyhole, a small click signaling that it had been unlocked. Lowering her arms, Cielle walked over and opened the door, a triumphant look on her face. It quickly faded as she spotted a Heartless, and she let out a sigh. "Never a dull moment with them around...let us take care of them quickly, then we can go after the princess."
Question! Do we have to wait until everyone has made their intro post to post with our characters again?

As long as you wait at least 2 posts before posting again, you can go ahead and make a post. The more interactions, the better imo.
We're live, boyos.

We're essentially starting first day of school. Early morning. There's student parking cause what kinda peasant takes the bus or if you're hella fit you can walk.

Cheers, mates. Any questions go and ask, please and thanks.

"Wake up in the morning feeling like P Diddy
Grab my glasses, I'm out the door; I'm gonna hit this city
Before I leave, brush my teeth with a bottle of Jack
'Cause when I leave for the night, I ain't coming back!

Lucas Anderson's voice boomed throughout the neighborhood, which was quite impressive considering how large their property was. He had little regard for his weary neighbors, who offered a somewhat weak wave as the young man strut over to one of the cars in their driveway. He returned their greeting with an enthusiastic wave of their own, not noticing their sighs as they would continue on their way. Patting himself down, he was genuinely proud of himself at the moment. His uniform was clean, pressed, free of wrinkles, and above all, still in one piece. More importantly, however, this was not the same uniform he had last year. Turns out he had grown somewhat, a product of finally getting off his ass and actually hitting the gym more than twice a week. Granted, he had always been athletic, but a few extra inches to his height gave him a much needed confidence boost. And lord knew he needed it, especially after what happened last weekend.

Wanting to rid himself of those unpleasant thoughts, he chose to continue to sing. Unfortunately for him, his song was interrupted as Lucas was pelted with a rock. It wasn't painful, but it did make him yelp in surprise. Letting out a slight wail of protest, he threw a glare to his attacker. "Et tu, Vic?" He asked, watching his sister toss another rock in the air and catching it.

"It shut you up, didn't it?" Came Victoire's rather cheeky response.

Victoire was an ice queen through and through. Academically driven and needlessly straight-laced, she was a rigid young lady who excelled in nearly everything she did. And anything she wasn't good at, she didn't bother trying. It was a smart tactic all things considered, but Lucas really wished she would live a little. Not that that was going to happen anytime soon; now that their father had formally informed her that he wanted her to inherit his company once she graduated college, it was like her nerdness went into overdrive. Well, that's not entirely true. Most nerds were meek, quiet, and generally buried in their books. Victoire was strong, imposing, and unafraid to speak her mind. Which made messing with her all the more fun.

"I'm talking pedicure on our toes, toes--oh," The redhead seemed to catch herself at the end of the verse, eyes alternating between Victoire and Lucas, though he couldn't help but grin as Victoire would roll her eyes. "Good morning...?"

Nadia was his future stepsister. She was way more fun than Vic was by a mile. Sweet and eager to please, in real life she looked nothing like she did on the magazines. It had been a complete shock when Lucas had first met her: he was expecting this monstrous diva who thought she was better than everyone. But she was pretty down to earth, if somewhat a bit of a doormat, but she was great to hang around. Ever since she moved in, Lucas had gained an ally against Victoire, which the latter had found completely infuriating.

Knowing that Vic was probably going to start yelling at her for encouraging him, Lucas decided that he may as well take advantage of the moment. "Trying on all our clothes, clothes!" He continued, snapping his fingers to the beat.

"Boys blowing up our phones, phones!" Nadia continued giddily, letting out a giggle as Victoire promptly ignored them both and got into the car. Lucas threw her a wink as he got into the driver's seat, waiting until Nadia got in before driving off. Despite having his eyes on the road, he could already see Victoire writing in her planner, her notes covering a majority of the sheet. Nadia noticed as well, frowning slightly. "We haven't even gotten to school and you're taking notes?" She asked out loud, somewhat confused.

Without looking up from her writing, Victoire replied, "I always get a head start, I have a million things to take care of and if I don't start early, I could fall behind."

"Vic just wants to show off, that's all," Lucas stated, watching the girl put her pen down as she would slowly inhale. "Come on! It's senior year! As long as you show up to class you'll graduate, you know."

Snapping her planner shut, Victoire shoved it and her pen back into her messenger bag as she fished for her phone. Nadia grinned again, leaning back in her seat as she looked out the window. Victoire actually had a point about getting a head start on things, but taking it easy sounded way more appealing. Stretching her arms above her head, she stole a glance at her watch. It was still pretty early all things considered, but now that being 'environmentally friendly' was supposed to be a way for her fans to see her as more down-to-earth, or something. She honestly never really understood her mother's marketing techniques, but she did think this was as good an opportunity as ever to get a quick Snapchat in.

Positioning herself in the middle seat, she lifted her phone up and started, flashing a brilliant smile to her phone's camera. "Good morning! Happy First Day of school!" She greeted her viewers excitedly as the car came to a halt at a red light. She heard Victoire let out a slight groan of protest, but ignored her. Lucas smiled, giving the camera a wave, and placed his hand on the radio knob. "Carpooling is always a great way to make things green! So grab your friends, turn up the tunes--" Getting the cue, Ke$ha's Tik Tok started playing on full blast, causing Victoire to let out a yell as she covered her ears. "--and have a jam on your way to school! See you later!" Nadia shouted, and as she finished, she joined Lucas' singing. "Drop-topping, playing our favorite CD's, Rollin' up to the parties--Trying to get a little bit tipsy...!"

Lucas took off as soon as the light turned green, making sure to drive as quickly as possible before Victoire would decide to throttle him. The duo sang all the way, ignoring the grumpy brunette as they parked, and continued even after Lucas turned off the car. He motioned for Nadia to follow him as he closely followed Victoire, dancing around her as they continued singing. Their little ruse did little to distract her as she continued to walk, only pausing to make sure her skirt was smoothed out. She was used to Lucas' ridiculous antics, though she didn't quite appreciate Nadia tagging along so comically. Rather than pay them any mind, she situated herself in her usual spot by the school gates, crossing her arms and putting herself on alert.

Nadia stopped dancing long enough to raise an eyebrow at her, nudging Lucas slightly. "What is she doing?" She asked him curiously.

"Watching for troublemakers, druggies, strange older men, perverts...defending the peace of the school is something she takes pride in," Lucas replied with such confidence that Nadia didn't realize he was joking. "It's a thankless job, but she takes the responsibility very serious, for she is...President Victoire!"

"Really?" Nadia asked, her eyes wide as she watched Victoire.

"Of course!"

Finally deciding to quell Lucas' claims, Victoire let out a sigh. "No. I just make sure everyone has their uniforms and make sure they're adhering to the dress code," She corrected him, watching his rather smug expression.

"My version is better, though."
